Worked well
I was stenciling for the first time and was actually pleasantly surprised with these. It works better to tape the letters down on the top and bottom with small pieces of painting tape. I used Rustoleum chalk paint and it worked well to control bleeding. It is true that you should tap it up and down with a stenciling brush to avoid as much bleeding as possible and tap off excess paint. Separating the letter and numbers were time consuming and not all the letters and numbers matched the spacing on top, bottom, and sides so I had to cut some to match. For duplicate letters, you can just remove the letter right after you stencil and place them in your new spot. I did have to stencil 2 coats, it looks better. Looks like you can use them several times before they start to shred.

Great for making Scrabble wall tiles!
Perfect! I used these to make the number on Scrabble letters for wall decorations. The Scrabble tiles are 4" wide by 4.5" tall. These numbers were the perfect size to go with the 3" letters. Very happy!

Worked great for spray painting signs.
These did the trick, durable enough for multiple uses. Used spray paint, they did allow a tiny bit of overspray from inside the letters but this could be easily remedied by holding the can back further so the 'blast' from the can didn't push under the stencil. Would buy again if needed, good deal for the price.

Durable
As described! Held up for stenciling on walls. Had to reuse the number 0 many times and it was fine

Sturdy and Got the Job Done!
These stencils came as promised. They are sturdy and easy to use. Extra vowel letters are provided to help speed along your project. I used these stencils to apply fabric paint to sweatshirts using a sponge application in an up and down motion. Very minimal bleeding, if at all - and I was not being very careful! These are sturdy enough to be used time and time again, though I imagine after several projects you may want a new set. For the price it's definitely worth it. I did not bother cleaning the stencil after use as water will most likely weaken the integrity of the card stock. Did the job and looked great.

These will hold up to paint a shuffleboard Court
We needed these to repaint a shuffleboard court in our park. These held up well enough to paint 4 7’s, 4 8’s, 4 1’s, 4 zeros, 9 O’s, and 4 F’s, and adapted 4 E’s into capital F’s to produce the word OFF. We have dried them and are storing them. For this application they are now even sturdier for the next time we paint.

Tape pieces together 1st.
I did a decent job spray painting my name on my tool box with these. Tape your pieces together and tape them on your intended surface. Be careful with the overspray.

Does the job.
Worked well. Not sure if I was supposed to get a full alphabet but it did the job for a 6 ft bench in a corner nook area.. I’m experimenting with typography on 1x6 fence boards wood from Home Depot (only $2.20 per board) and it seems stencil style doesn’t look tacky and more of a “palette look”. Thanks. I was able to make a letter C by blocking off a portion of the letter O with masking tape.

nice quality, great price
planned on using once and throwing away (used paint), but they dried nicely so decided to keep them and use again! betting they'll last a long time when only used with pencils or markers!
