Great electrical tape
Great electrical tape: very pliable and easy to work with. I went with this version so I can color code different applications for the sake of clarity and organization. Very happy with how easy it is to use even two years later. Cheap electrical tape gets super sticky or brittle/stiff to work with. This hasn't.

Narrower than typical electrical tape - - it's 1/2" wide - - works great for me and I love the colors in this pack.
I use these as markers for keys. We have rental property and also hold keys to friends and neighbors homes as well. Lots of keys, but for security reasons, I don't necessarily like having descriptive labels on them. Instead, I color mark the keys with a little strip of this colored tape. John's house is yellow, so his key gets a yellow strip of tape . . . Jane's front door is red, so her key gets a red stripe . . . I did not realize when I ordered these, that they are narrower than the typical 1" black electrical tape. It specifically says on the packaging and in the description, that these tapes are 1/2" wide. In my case, this is actually a benefit and works better than the wide tape - - - just something to take notice of if you're looking for standard 1" wide tape.

great for home repairs
These are first class electrical tapes. I've been buying no-name brand tape and they just don't compare to 3M in terms of elasticity, strong post wrap bonding and being able to know its electrical and physical specifications as supplied by 3M's website datasheets. Pros Tight adhesion Elastic Vibrant colors Shipping carton can serve as a dispenser Tape conforms to UL 510 Defined electrical and physical specifications in its data sheet Made in USA Perfect for Home and light duty repair due to cost per foot Cons Short length Relatively costly: if you are a pro, you'd likely buy bulk or longer rolls 1/2" width, most commercial tape is 3/4" width This pack is general purpose #35 tape mostly for indoor use or color coding; 3M makes much tougher any-material adherent tape. For commercial use #33+ is preferred, color only in black, then use #35 if needed for color coding.

good product, good value
Sticks well, but it you make a mistake you're not dealing with a limpet. Be gentle, and it will peel apart. Colors are true; clean edges (not raggedy). Use scissors; it will not tear, as duct tape will. Tends to stretch at cut ends, however, so if you are decorating something with this tape, be extra-careful with the ends, as they'll splay out, and your lines will not be precise (but you can trim away anything that's stretched out of place). Good value. Recommend. mb

Mark your gear and quit losing it.
I used these to put a 3 color identifying mark on a couple dozen various cables and even mic stands, mics, amp stands and other gear. Guess what? I have probably saved a couple hundred dollars in lost cables and gear because of it. I can identify my stuff from across the room and others can't "accidently" walk off with it as easily. This is a perfect tape to work with. It has the right amount of adhesive and is the right thickness. It goes on the cables or mics and does not damage them, but does not fall off either. A great product.

Great for Color Coding cords.
I am using these to color code my USB cords. I thought about buying different colored cords, but after reading the bad reviews of all the color cords, bought a pack of the electrical tape. I have marked cords with generic tape before and had some sort of strange reaction between the tape and the plastic of the cord, making it all gummy. I am sure this won't happen with electrical tape. I use two bands of color on my cords on each end so that I can tell which cord to unplug from the USB power hub. It works like a charm.

Best Colored Electrical Tape on the Market!
As a Licensed Electrician this is a PERFECT match for me and possibly you? I purchased two because I uses a lot. Take it from an experience electrician, color coating IS important. Have been doing this type of work since 1975 well over 43 years! In my opinion 3M is the best for electrical tape, no matter what color it is!

Applied on a rear view camera for truck
Using this with a rear view camera and tow hitch connection on my truck. Six months in southern California and has resisted several thunderstorms in my area. Like the different colors to see where the connection is underneath. I will likely change once each year just to be sure (although I might not have to).

I used a bit of this for "repairing" the cord ...
I used a bit of this for "repairing" the cord on my MacBook, which was having to be wiggled and propped into compliance when I wanted to plug in my computer. So far (a couple months in), this is has kept me from having to buy a new cord!

works great
Used this for my Mac charger. It started fraying on the end where it attaches to the computer. I had this problem happen before to the point where the charger broke and ended up paying $80 for a new one. Now 3ish years later my new one is doing it again. So I decided to buy this tape to fix the problem before it became a bigger issue. Works great! Would highly recommend,
