These were easy to use and worked really well. I used them to jack up a deck while I replaced the old footings and posts and these worked great and were very stable. I like that they allow you to easily adjust them up or down enabling me to level the deck before measuring for new posts. I had one post that was a little over 9 feet tall, and I was to build a little platform and then put these jack posts on top and replace that post without having to buy longer ones. Just make sure you have them secured well and use a level to make sure they are plumb and they work really well. I have already loaned them out to several neighbors who were also very impressed with the quality and ease of use.

These posts are perfect. We used four of these to add a carrying beam on a new addiion. They work well and though the metal seems thin it is strong enough to hold the weight specified. Set the posts on a poured concrete footing. if you can, secure the bottom to the footing. Next, bolt the upper flange to your beam. Make sure the post is level. Adjust the nut so that the post is secure to the carrying beam. Check the beam in a week in case it has settled then readjust. We are buying several more

We installed a wood stove. The floor joists below were suspended by Teco hangers. Yeah, yeah, I know that they are really strong...but I was paranoid about having a 400 pound red hot inferno load suspended by some folded up sheet metal...so I used a 4x4 to span the joists and snugged it using these jack posts. Did I accomplish anything? Heck, I don't know. But I sleep better at night. So for that, I give these jack posts 5 stars. If you buy them, you just might sleep better too.

I have a desk with about a hundred pounds of music equipment attached and on top. The desk was sagging in the middle. I positioned these and screwed them up. Problem solved. Very nice!

This is a well made product and it worked as intended. I was a little nervous using this product at the longest setting, it seemed a little shaky to me. I feel it would of been better if the pipes fit into each other about 12" more at the longest setting. I got the job done.

i used this for the first time yesterday to install a few girders at about 7 feet up under and existing deck. i had no one to help except this awesome tool. i kept saying all day that this is the best tool i own(and i have a lot) and my new favorite. its a must have if you do much of this type of work. hell, even if you only use it once itll make you so happy itll be worth it. then give it away to spread the joy. btw it has a screw type jack built in so no need for a regular jack. i bought this thinking it was just an adjustable post for use with a regular jack. to my surprise its built in. so easy to use. very happy! another thing is that the box was beat up and the hardware obviously fell out and was lost during shipping. i called Tiger and they sent a new hardware package no questions asked. now thats cool!

The jacks work great. We use them as stabilizers for the front of our cab-over pickup camper. They are easy to use and tjeyske the camper very stable.

Worth the price for safety and ease. Used when replacing a post on a pergola that had dry rot. Will store nicely in its own box.

I love these ! So far so good. Just installed them today. Much faster than using a bottle jack and 4x4s... No need for cutting posts to fit and using shims. The bolt turns pretty much effortlessly with a nice size wrench. I used 5 of them to act as a secondary support just in case the primary support failed. Had to remove the entire 20 feet of foundation footing of my 2 story slab on grade garage with a unit on top. Even when they were tight I was able to hammer them to make them plumb. Will most likely use them for another job in the crawl space but I will need to cut them down to size, These combined with the speedway 20 ton bottle jacks really does the trick on structural framing and foundation repairs

It is what it is. An adjustable steel support post. Same as you go to the other guys for but delivered to your door no hassle, no lugging about. Just a little bit of pre-planning...about 2-4 days.
