My cousin told me about Terro products a few years back. I LOVE IT!!!!! No matter if it's granuas, spray or liquid, they all work WONDERFULLY!! I should also mention that I live in a very rural area, about a mile north of the Northern most point of Lake Michigan. We have a LOT of sand around here and depending on the water table, lots of moisture at times too. I've had NO ANT PROBLEMS AT ALL since I've been using Terro products. Never have found even ONE ant in the house! THANKS TERRO FOR AWESOME PRODUCTS!

I tribute this product with controlling ants in my home. I spread it around the entire perimeter of the house and then I apply Home Defence and the ants are gone.

A great way to kill carpenter ant colonies in/around your house.

This is a really good product for controlling carpenter ants, which can destroy the wood framework of your home if ignored. Early each summer we start to see carpenter ants in the house and we know that a colony has established itself in or near the house. We use two applications of Terro all around the foundation of the house, put down a month apart. Then the carpenter ants disappear. It works so well because the foraging ants take the pesticide-treated bait back to their colony and feed it to the ant larvae and the queen ant, killing them. We have tried having the house sprayed with strong pesticides inside and out in the past and this worked well, but it stank, exposed us to pesticides in the house and was expensive. Terro has worked for us every time we've used it. This summer, we even saved a neighbor's large oak tree from a serious carpenter ant infestation by simply putting a ring of Terro on the ground around the trunk of the tree; the ants were killed and the tree won't be further weakened by the ants' tunneling into it.

Excellent for carpenter ants

The carpenter ants had a colony somewhere in an area of my home and I was swarmed with them. I sprinkled this product all around the perimeter of my home and within 2 weeks the majority of them are gone. It has been 5weeks since I have applied it and plan to reapply soon. I occasionally see 1 or 2 here and there but nothing like before. I have used other Terro products before and stand by them. Great stuff... It really worked for me!

Wow! Started working immediatly

So we have a bad ant problem around the house - really our whole street is like that. So I bought this product to try and stop the ants from penetrating the house. I put it out yesterday and this morning, I already noticed that some larger insects dead around the front porch. Ants were eating these dead bugs - so I am sure that they will get twice poisoned! I'll update the review once it's been a few days and we see how the ants react. Very easy to distribute the granules with the shake bag.

Easy to use and no need to get my hands dirty. Hopefully it will get rid of the ants and uncles!

I just set some bait out before it rained, I used it liberally. I had so many problems with the ants last year coming in the house through windows, coming in through the outlets, and crawling along the baseboards. I was totally sick of them. I am using a multitude of items from Terri so I can live pest free this summer and fall.

So far so good

Applied this product for the first time yesterday all around a bunch of ant mounts that I have around the outside of the house. I definitely put more product than I was supposed to and probably put more water than recommended but when I checked today, I saw a ton of dead ants (and maybe 3-5 live ones still). I did have to reapply in one area as there was still activity going on but so far, I am happy with the product. I did try the Terro 1806 outdoor liquid ant bait first and it did absolutely nothing.

This worked with one application

Wow! I was really surprised that this worked with only one application. The ant hills are all gone :). I had about 4 large mounds in my front yard and 2 in my back yard. Very pleased. Tried several other products that did not do a thing. This was well worth the purchase. I followed the directions completely, even watering it in. Would completely recommend!!

The Ants are finally gone!!!

We get random ants in our home after large amounts of rain. I've tried small traps, baits, sprays, and several other home remedies that people swear by......we've been battling it for about 3 years now during the summer when it rains. This has been the only product that has helped with stoping them completely!

No more touching the poison, quick treatment of ant mounds

The zip open bottom and shaker bag make spot treatment of ant mounds really easy. Just turn the bag upside down, unzip the seal, and you are ready to go. The poison is effective, too. This is preferable to reaching into a bag, grabbing a handful, and then dropping over and around the mound a few times, after which you rush to rinse the stuff off your hands before too much is absorbed through your skin. We know you shouldn't handle the poison, but we do anyway. This is preferable.
