Great fishing ruler

Works great as a fishing ruler. Small enough to keep in your pocket and flexible so it's easy to measure the big ones.

No slow on the Retrieve!!

Handy and not as cheap as I feared it might be. Have taken a lot of measurements with it now and still going strong. Couple times I figured I was going to break it reeling it back in as the spring is not timid. Little booger whips right back in - now I try to run it through my fingers and catch it last couple inches as the plastic tip will slap into the case. So far seems to work flawless on 50 (?) measurements I have done between me and the girlfriend for new motorcycle chaps, jackets, helmets, etc. Then there is all the kids - even ordered a few extra for stocking stuffers this year as they are handy.

I have two of these lovely little retractable measuring tapes that I have used for years and no problems with either one. They still retract well and if they should break or get lost I will just order more at this affordable, reasonable price. As a knitter/crocheter I can't live without them. And the blue color stands out no-matter where I leave them sitting.

Lightweight, practical measuring tool. I'm continually surprised by how often I use it.

Bought this product for under $4 with accordingly low expectations. I've been pleasantly surprised by the quality since it arrived on time. The tape is a sturdy plasticized fabric that doesn't look like it will rip anytime soon. The tape retracts quickly and doesn't get twisted up often, even when I'm retracting several feet at a time. As a college student who has never had a tape measure at school, but grew up using tools and fixing things I was always bothered by how hard it was to quickly measure things here, but this small lightweight product has completely solved that issue. Oddly enough I didn't even purchase it for that use, but to do body fat measurements. It's perfect for that as well, but I find myself measuring objects around my room for "fix-it" purposes almost as often. Highly recommended!

HANDY but they magicly disapper!

I have lost count of how many of these I have purchased, I don't lose them, family and friends snag them! I gave up and started giving them away as stocking stuffers and taped to the bow of gifts. I love thrift store shopping and these are so HANDY in the stores to make sure I am getting the right size for the person I looking for.I have even marked them off with different color highlighters, each person get a color and I know when I hit the "color mark" I have the right size for a certain person! I carry two or three in my purse, my husband carries one in the pocket of his jeans since they come in handy at the hardware store. My daughter who is a vet tech keeps one in her smock pocket to get measurements on the pets she works with at the clinic. They are 60 inches long and marked in metric so they have you covered all the way around!!

Great little tool, i got one for a friend too. We just go around measuring everything and everyone. Not sure why, but we can't stop. This review box is 1 7/8" x 1/2".

Purchased for fishing.

Used it for a season of fishing and luckily got to use it pretty frequently. Solid constructions and goes in and out without a hitch. Tackle box must.

Very durable

I bought these to use as an airplane / travel toy for my young kids (3, 4, 5). They absolutely love them! They are easy to use, very durable, and very engaging for the kids to measure everything with... not to mention just the simple thing of the auto-recoil is amusing to no end to a toddler!

Great product. Great price

I had bought 3 white MABIS tape measures for work about 6 years ago for about $6 each and needed some more. They work god without problems (which is better than a couple of other brands I had used in the past where the pull handle comes off or the springs wears down), with inches on one side and cm on the other side. In the past time the blue version was on sale for $2, so I got 6 (I thought this was a lifetime's worth, but I was wrong). I needed some more now, but now they are $4. Got some since I still needed them. Too bad they weren't on sale for $2 this time.
