Gets HOT and durable
Love my clove iron, I've had it for almost a year now and it gets HOT HOT just how I need it. I use it for ironing on my appliques when I embroider. It definitely gets not enough to melt the heat and bond to adhere the applique to the item. I use it when I sew hoods or other curved seams where I need to iron awkward curves or tight places. The metal rod 'neck' does get just as hot as the plate, which is a little nerve wrecking to remember to be careful. Bit I've never burned myself. I've gotten mini irons before and always had a problem with them not getting not enough, this one sure does, time and time again!

Great product
Love using this little iron. Just have to be careful where you lay it down as the edge is very hot and I burned a little sliver of fabric because I was careless.

This Clover Mini Iron is Perfect With Applique!
This small iron is about the size of a curling iron and is easy to transport when taking outside the home for a quilting get-together. It is super easy to use and helps with small seams when working with machine applique as well as it will iron small seams when creating binding, etc. I would highly recommend this item for the above reasons and probably many more will come to mind after I submit the review. Thank you

Love this product!!!
I use for vinyl on things that can't go in my press. Perfect for the job....get very hot on entire surface so you can use the corners. Love it.

Great for smaller htv projects
I like the product. Used it to iron on htv to some flip flops. A heat press would melt my flip flops so this totally works. Also great if you need to correct something small. Dont have to turn on and wait for a big ol heat press.

Ideal for doll clothes
I'm a doll collector who often has to restore old fabrics, so the small size works well for me. I mostly use the lower heat setting. My only criticism is that the length of the handle makes precision ironing a bit hard. To iron small sleeves, etc., I use a tightly rolled piece of fabric inside the doll garment to support the fabric.

Works like it should!
I use this iron for tacking down items on craft and book repair projects. It can go from a warm setting to very hot, depending on your needs. Be careful, though. This iron can get very hot and you might want to use a paper barrier to absorb some of the heat, like blotter paper. I've used it on several products already with no problems. Just remember that the contact is metal, not Teflon, so you have to keep the iron moving and add a barrier to avoid burnt spots.

Great buy
I make vinyl decals for shirts and I bought this iron to remove errors. It works great, but definitely has a bit of a learning curve. There is a LOW and HIGH setting only. No medium. On high, I can usually get the vinyl off. Sometimes it only seems to adhere it more! (This is user error only...I don't blame the iron). This little guy gets HOT, so be very careful not to touch the metal wand.

Compact, lightweight, easy to use!
This is the best!! I like to work on small quilting projects when we go camping. This little iron is perfect for pressing the seams open. Do be aware that the metal rod that leads to the tip is also very hot! I learned that the first time I used it. :)
