Easy to use

I was a bit nervous but seeing all the other pictures gave me hope. I used a yellow cake recipe I found online and a butter cream frosting recipe also from online. It turned out as good as I could have hoped for and saved me a lot of money not using a bakery. Was easy to follow. Didn't have the tips recommended so just used what I had. Was happy with the outcome.

Love this T-REX cake!!

I have never used a Wilton Pan before, but my son was asking for a T-Rex cake for his 3rd birthday. I was nervous at first, but after watching a couple youtube videos and reading the decorating instructions the cake came out adorable! Not too complicated at all, just time consuming. It took about an hour to decorate- which I really didn't think was bad at all. The cake was a hit! I love hearing compliments on my baking- and this cake took it to a whole'nother level!!

My grandson is obsessed with dinosaurs (he's 5) and wanted a dinosaur cake for his birthday. I bought this cake pan and it was easy to follow the directions for decorating. It came out really cute. Wish I had a picture to show.

My Daughter LOVEd this

I bought this so I could make my daughter a dinosaur birthday cake without having to be a professional baker. The pan is pretty durable, not a flimsy aluminum as I thought it may have been just looking at the picture. As long as you follow the instructions regarding coating every nook and cranny of the pan, the cake comes out with ease and in one piece. I stupidly tried to reposition it on the cooling rack and ended up beheading my dino which I was later able to save with the frosting, but outside of that mishap, everything turned out fantastic and my daughter LOVED it!

Kid approved!!

Loved every thing about this cake pan and was so happy that it came with instructions for decorating it. Very easy to use, easy directions and just the right size cake for a medium sized party. My dino loving son was so excited and loved it very much.

Adorable!

This is such a cute pan! I made it pink for my daughters 2nd birthday. She's been on a dinosaur kick lately. I messed up a little but I like it. I followed the numbers for the tips, but the one for yellow seems off. I should have just used the 3 instead of the 5 like it says. Unless my set is different for some reason. Other than that its great!

Adorable with Instructions!

I was hesitant to order this pan because as adorable as the pictures looked, I wasn't sure we could actually pull it off. LOL! However, I was pleasantly surprised that when the pan arrived it came with detailed instructions on how to use it AND how to decorate. The instructions to decorate are so detailed that it even has a clearly described sequence. For someone who isn't artistic but can follow directions, it was a real relief and help. In the end, we actually did drift away from some of it since it was a little too much- but I'd rather it be that way. The cake we cooked in it was just a boxed funfetti brand and it came out nice and moist. It is a thick single-layer with one box. I bet if you made two of them to layer it would probably still be cute. I'm happy we bought this and even more importantly, my son loved it!

Love this pan! I used shortening to grease it as recommended by other reviews and the cake came right out! Just make sure to spread your cake batter into each of the crevices on the edges before baking. Perfect for my son's 3rd birthday. I am a cake decorating novice but I thought it came out cute!

My 2 year old loved it!

It was very easy to use.. the cake just slid out easily.. I just sprayed baking spray before pouring the batter in. My 2 year old loved it for his bday.. the frosting and detailing took a while and made my wrist hurt a bit( it was my first time making a cake this big!) but it was all soo worth it when I saw my toddler's Happy face screaming.. "Wow!! Dinosaur Cake!!!!"

Perfect, easy to use.

This was PERFECT for our son's 4th birthday. The cake pan comes with directions on how to prepare the pan, how to bake the cake, what frosting to buy, what decorating tips you need (I didn't have them), and a frosting step by step guide. I didn't have all of the materials and frosting available, but I think it still came out great and my son LOVED it, which is all that matters.
