LONG HANDLED DUSTER
This is an excellent duster. The handle is just the right length for once-over-lightly dusting. I really helps to reach hard-to-reach places like baseboards and top edges of door frames and corners of walls. The lambs wool really picks up and holds the dust much better than other artificial dusters. Just tap it on the edge of an outside banister or your trash can to release the dust.

My favorite duster ever!
I have tried many types of dusting, and it's generally not on my favorite list of things to do. Damp microfiber cloths work well but it takes forever to go over each item individually (although they are still great for getting fingerprints), feather dusters are great for delicate items but don't really pick up the dust, and Swiffer dusters work but are disposable and wasteful (and expensive). I wanted to get a duster that was fluffy like a feather duster but picked up the dust better. I was deciding between this and a much more expensive Cleans Green microfiber duster for $35. That one got good reviews, but I wasn't sure about how well the microfiber would do. I chose this one, and love it. You can fluff it up easily and it picks up dust very well, just as well as a Swiffer duster but without having to keep wasting money on them and creating waste. It holds onto the dust and it's really easy to shake it off outside and then it looks brand new and fluffy again. It would be great if stores could start carrying these more so that people have more choices. It seems that the disposable products are their main money maker now.

Good compact duster
Keep this in the glovebox for dusting in the car. So far works great.

Great little duster
Great little duster, I keep this under my car seat. I have a new car with black leather interior and a piano gloss console that shows dust almost daily. This little miracle duster takes me all of about 30 seconds to dust the entire front area of car, everything sticks to it like magic, and then I just give it a good shake outside to release the dust. It's very attractive looking, extremely soft to the touch (like cotton candy), and seems very durable. Really nice product.

Great.
Small so easier to use around nick-nacks & small objects. I don't understand the complaints about it not being fluffy enough--it fluffs out to about 6" diameter. I've actually thought about trimming it a bit to more easily dust on & around smaller items. I carry this in one hand & a large one in the other and it works well. The dust seems to cling to them so the house gets cleaner than when I used a feather duster, but it does take longer to manipulate this around small items than it would a feather duster.

7 years and still going!
I was searching today for a feather duster to use as a prop, and this one came up in my search, it reminded me how much I love it, but I'd never left a review. I purchased this guy in April of 2010 and it still looks relatively new. We use it practically daily. I've never washed it, only bang it out on the pillar outside. It can really take a beating. It picks up the dust nearly perfectly, and releases it completely when you bang it out. After 7 years it still does the job as good as it did on day one, this thing is truly fantastic. I highly recommend this duster!

Wonderful to reach ceiling fans, great spider catcher, and ace rabbit wrangler
I purchased this to replace my 10 year old one - the rabbit ate through the handle leaving it like a furry caterpillar that he now sleeps with! These are great tools for a lot of purposes. I'm not good with spiders but not keen to kill them either. These catch spiders and hold them until you shake them out of the wool outside or wherever. I use it to wrangle the bunny who goes under the sofa and chews the wood legs. It gently reminds him that misbehavior like that means he has to move. It's also great for its intended dusting purposes too. This time around I purchased the short one too. That use is pretty much for dusting alone but it's easier to dust right in front of me with a short handle. The wool picks up dust very easily and the wool dusters last far longer than a cloth duster.

Looks like a small cat on a 4 foot stick!
I have a Labrador Retriever and I have been aggressively fighting a battle against dust and pet hair/dander for what feels like forever. Buying this duster completes the trifecta of what I think is a perfect system in keeping our apartment clean. A few months back I purchased a Furminater dog brush and a Roomba. (see my other Amazon reviews.) But they only solved the dog hair problem. Our apartment still had alot of dust issues. This thing is amazing my apartment is sooo much cleaner. I wish i bought this duster sooner. I like to run through pull all the dust onto the floor before I start the Roomba and leave the house for a few hours. The long handle allows me to get up and around all the window and door frames. Up and down along all the corners of each room. I even use it on my electronics. It does a wonderful job dusting my 48" flat screen and easily slides in and out of all the small spaces between my electronics. This duster was also super cheap. I will definitely be buying the smaller one for my office. I must admit when I pulled this duster out of the long skinny box it came in my dog barked like hell at it. I guess from a dogs perspective it does kinda look like a small cat on the end of a 4' stick.

Dusting? Sure, I'm In!
Okay, so now I enjoy dusting! This duster cleans so much better than a disposable duster, wish I hadn't spend all that money all these years, while also leaving a nice shine on all my wooden surfaces. I like a nice shine but cannot stand using the sprays that leave an awful film and attract more dust. I'm very pleased with this purchase. FYI, if your ceilings are higher than 8 feet you may want to buy one with a longer stick than this. I use for my wall to ceiling edges and it just reaches.

A different kind of clean!
I just used this lambs wool duster on my whole house, cleaning it by shaking it out as I went from room to room, and I had no idea I had so much dust in this house! I used this on walls, floorboards, furniture, lampshades, shelves, frames, EVERYTHING, and it is an incredible cleaning tool. I got up so much dust. Then I used the Swiffer on my wood floors and vacuumed all of the carpets. I emptied the vacuum canister, and I am now so happy about this clean house!!
