Bosch Part Is A Perfect OE Replacement At 40% Cost Of Manufacturer Part

My Independent BMW shop came back with a $350 cost for the Idle Air Control Valve from the nearby dealership. I took down the part number (BMW# 13-41-1-744-713) and did a quick search on Amazon. I landed on this page, saw that it was a Bosch product, and was shocked by the $141 price. I called my Indie and told them to cancel the part order from the dealer - told them that I would have the part to them the next day -- Thank you Prime 1-Day shipping! The part arrived at 2:00 in the afternoon (I had ordered with 45 minutes left on the shipping cut-off), I had it to the Indie by 3:00. I am glad that Amazon had the product, had the 1-Day prime shipping, my Indie was ok with me walking in the part and that I saved 200 bucks!! :o) My Indie confirmed that the part was a perfect replacement and that the BMW branded part is probably manufactured by Bosch. Exact Replacement for E39 528i

This unit was an exact replacement for the stock 2000 528i BMW E39. Had code P1510. Many causes for code so I went with the easiest things to do, such as cleaning MAF, no help, checking for induction leaks, nope and then replacing the ICV with this and problem was fixed. Easy job, had to pull the DISA valve and the lower intake hoses and pulled out the ICV. Took an hour and saved hundreds compared to the dealer.

quality part from a quality manufacturer. I'm a auto mechanic for german cars and my shop has tried in the past to use asian parts because they are so much cheaper but a third of the time those parts don't work. Bosch is a brand I trust to work the first time and this ICV was not exception.

Great fit, and great performance

I was going to go with a cheaper model but better to stick with OE equipment. definitely worth the $130.00. My old IAC was total trash, causing EML/Limp mode from 5 min of idling. installed and let idle for 10 min and no codes! very satisfied. Will Recommend to e46 buddies.
