So I was worried that all the good reviews are fake... but this is truly a wonderful product! Saved my $600 boots and thousand dollar bags. Thank you!

If you are thinking about getting this for your leather shoes, jacket, belt, bag, purse, or gloves, just do it! Fabulous product. I have had several pairs of very nice leather dress shoes for many years. I shine them regularly and thought I knew what I was doing to take care of them. But then I recently learned of the need to condition (to nourish or replenish) leather (different than polishing) and got strong recommendations on this product--Bick 4--from a number of men's shoe/style forums. The second this arrived in the mail I applied it to one pair of shoes. The leather just drank up the conditioner like the parched traveler finding oasis. It made an immediate and significant difference. So then I excitedly applied the conditioner to my other leather shoes, and then my belts, then a bag, and then some dress gloves. Holy cow (no pun intended), it really restores the leather, making it look much newer and richer. Did not change the color. I now want to try this on an old leather jacket, but I think I will need to order another bottle first . . . Seriously, where has this stuff been my whole life?

Purchased a small bottle at an outfitter to give this stuff a try--works very well. Comes out of the flip-top cap as fairly odorless, translucent, milky-white liquid. I just put a few drop on the toe of my boot and start working it in with my fingers, add a few more drops to other areas and work your way to the back/top. You'll know it's rubbed in enough when it turns from slippery consistency to having a slight drag under your fingers. Put that boot down and start on the next. Once you've finished the second, your first is ready for a light once-over with your horsehair boot brush. Looks nice, don't it? One more boot to go and you're ready to step out on the town (or cow pasture, your evening my vary).

I use this on all my leather bags and shoes. First I clean with Bickmore leather conditioner. Let dry and then apply this and buff. The difference is amazing. Leather is supple and conditioned. Cleans oils and grime off purse handles. Doesn't change the color of leather. Vuitton handles really clean up nice and stay soft and protected. This is the only product I trust with my designer bags and shoes. It does take a lot for larger items or leather that hasn't been conditioned in a while. But the price is good and you can always buy more. This is my 15th bottle so far. Definitely should buy this!

I had an old Wilson's smooth leather jacket that I bought in the 90's. I was one cool kid back then! Now my son wanted to use it so I pulled it out of the nether regions of my closet only to see that it was dirty, dry and had a whiteish sheen on it. I ordered the leather conditioner and my son went to town. When he was done I almost didn't want to let him have the jacket it looked so good! Unfortunately, my son used my, "I can't trust you if you don't follow through' lecture on me and I was forced to let him have the now clean and new looking jacket just to stay consistent. Small price to pay to retain the high ground in our weekly homework "discussions" I suppose.

After doing a lot of research, I ended up buying this for my glovetanned leather Coach bags. I have one each brown, taupe and black and this conditioner worked great. It didn't darken or alter any of the leather colors at all, but did make an obvious difference in the softness and suppleness of the leather. It also took out minor scuffs and scratches with a little buffing. The process I used was to spread a thin, even layer all over, wait about ten minutes and then use an old cotton tshirt to work the remaining conditioner into the leather.

AMAZING!! I have some Ariat boots that are a few years old. Poor things have never been treated well. Other boot polishes just dulled the scratches out. When I applied this solution, I was pretty skeptical because it looks like hair conditioner, but it is amazing. I bought one for my dad. The picture speaks for itself. (After on the left. Before on the right.)

This stuff is great. I just received the bottle and have already almost used it up because I have conditioned every leather thing we own. I ordered this when I got out a pair of leather cowboy boots that had been sitting in storage and looked dry and almost to the point of cracking. I searched on Amazon and found this conditioner and thought I would try it out. The boots were so dry that I did the conditioning once, let the boots sit and then conditioned them again. After the second treatment, they looked better than new. I ended up doing all the boots we own plus all my purses, leather and faux leather ones as well. I found that the to apply the conditioner twice is really needed. It seems that the leather soaks the conditioner up the first time and then with the second coat, you will get an even, all-over moisturized looking finish.

This stuff has a very strong smell, similar to tallow, which I suspect is the main ingredient. Tallow is used during the leather making process, so it would make sense to use it to re-condition old, dry leather. It soaks right in the leather in just a matter of minutes and leaves your leather with a very soft and supple surface. I tried it on my old shoes, and it seems to do well as a shoe polish. It doesn't add much shine, but the leather seems better norished and conditioned. On an old, dirty pair of work gloves, it helped restore them to a softer condition. However I think it lifted off maybe 50% of the dirt. Bick makes a Leather Cleaner product as well, so if you are looking for cleaning - I would recommend picking up the Cleaner as well as the Conditioner.

Of course I tried this solution on typically 'out of sight' sections of the seats to determine if it would cause the leather to darken. It didn't so I trusted it to properly do it's job in cleaning, conditioning and protecting those old seats. Easy to apply, easy to buff off, and leaves a great looking surface. I did each seat twice to ensure good penetration. Since I had some product left I addressed the two old leather chairs we have in our home. I had neglected to clean or treat either one of them for the past 20 years and they were in need of a little rehabilitation. Boy, was I surprised! The dirt buildup on the arms was impressive. Evidently the oil from our arms had provided a good home for dirt and combining the two served to make the chair arms even darker. Once again two coats were required but only on the arms. The rest of each chair was slightly dirty but the oily residue was missing. In any event, both chairs now look subtly newer and the wear spots provide antique warm look. Nice stuff!
