I have used several brands that have been ineffective for embossing. I came across this from a card making video. A little on the pricier side, but after having used it, I didn't regret the selling price point. Moist for complete coverage and doesn't dry out like the cheaper brands.

Great embossing inkpad

This inkpad is excellent, the versamark ink gripped my fine embossing powder and created such lovely detailed designs. I sadly used up the ink in a matter of 3 days from making gift boxes, so stock up on the refill bottles because this inkpad dries very quickly. Better to have plenty of versamark ink to grip the powder than leave faded embossing, it just looks terrible.

Just learning to use!

So far, I think it works really well, I am learning. I watched a lot of videos on card making and this is the one most of the professionals used. This was the best price I found!

Don't Settle, Buy the Best

There are many products similar to VersaMark but after trying them all, I say "why settle?" This ink is truly the best for heat embossing and watermark stamping; it gives a crisp image and holds the embossing powder well. I couldn't find it at my local craft stores; it must sell out right away, but luckily Amazon didn't let me down. Definitely recommend this for all paper crafters.

I have tried LOTS of different embossing pads, NONE work well, they kind of work halfway, and I cant get a great stamp, I have not had a single issue with versamark ink, it is nice and sticky and thick which is a weird thing to say, but it is HANDS DOWN the ONLY embossing ink I will ever use again.

Works but ...

This works but I may have gotten an older and dried out pad. The ink dried up almost as soon as I put it on the paper and my embossing powder was not able to stick. It would be good for inking but I don't think I'd recommend it for embossing.

As good as everyone says

Great ink pad. I used this for embossing my resumes and cover letters. The pad seemed to have an even distribution of ink so my prints/stamps turned out beautifully. Be sure to put the cover back on as soon as possible. Will buy again.

Fantastic Product

This works fantastic. Tried it out and worked great with my stamp and when I put the embossing powder on it and used the heat it turned out beautiful. Will be buying more. Loved the way it has changed - or added more beautiful options - to the way I make my cards.

Great for text stamps

This is exactly what you need to use for heat embossing. Believe me! I thought I did my research, and I bought white ink. That worked okay, but I still wasn't getting the look I wanted. I wanted a crisp image. I was making wedding invitations, and I had a lot of text. This ink did not bleed on my cardstock, and it had a satisfying sticky sound when doing the stamping. It made all the difference for the thermal embossing.
