• For maintaining healthy water chemistry in swimming pool or spa
  • Analyzes four chemical factors; free chlorine, bromine, alkalinity and pH
  • Dip in water for instant reading; no-bleed pads give accurate color reading
  • Comes in easy-to-store container
  • Contains 50 strips per kit

I just bought a home with a hot tub in the backyard and the previous owner left me a set of test strips that looked a bit too old to be still effective. In fact, as soon as I tried these new ones, I immediately got a whole different reading (especially for the clorine/bromine levels). These strips are also easier to use: just dip them in the water for two seconds and then read the colors, comparing to the label on the product. Easy.

Don't waste your time with a kit and filling the vile to the correct level, figuring out which bottle and how many drops, then trying to figure out what color you have....dip these babies in and see immediately and accurately which color matches the scale on the side. It's faster than writing this review, while buddy over there has just finished guessing what his alkalinity is and now is going to test his ph.

so far we used this tester and works well; at the beginning when we fill the pool it show we did a good job with the correct measurements. Because we found a stone under the bottom pool, we had to remove all the water to be able to get under the pool to remove the stone.. Now we re fill the pool we found the test told us we had a high FCI and lower pH. I love this things because it make simple but at the same time if you need to do math to make some changes with teh chemicals it is hard to do it by just look the colors. No matter it is simple and not to complicate we love it.

Easy to use and easy to read

Works does exactly what its supposed to just a simple dip and compare to the images on the bottle really easy You definitely need this if you have a pool, testing is essential to keeping good water and not letting it get disgusting and mucky DO NOT KEEP THIS AROUND THE WATER YOU WILL RUIN ALL OF THEM do one at a time and keep the bottle tightly sealed and dry I rely heavily on reviews from others when purchasing items online so I try to be as thorough and honest in giving my opinion as possible. I appreciate your feedback, so if you have found my review helpful, please take a moment to click on "yesโ€ to let me know.

I use these strips to monitor the water quality in my hot tub. Just dip and it will immediately (no waiting) tell you the level of Chlorine, Ph and Alkalinity by comparing the strip to the label on the bottle. I highly recommend.

These get 5 stars for price and ease of use. The strips test for the 3 important things for an average above ground pool. They test for free chlorine or bromine, ph, and alkalinity. If you have an above ground pool these are all you need. I wasted a lot of money trying to add chemicals that other test strips/drops measured low and high levels of this or that. For above grounds pools, your better off just testing with these three way chlorine or bromine, ph, and alkalinity test strips. Otherwise your gonna be adding other chemicals constantly that you dont need and your pool is never going to be clear.

Purchase Date: 03MAY16 Purchase Price: $7.98 I needed some strips for my pool. Found these strips cheaper on Amazon then the local Leslie's Pool Store. Pool store tested my water for free and strips showed similar results. Follow the directions and you should have no issues. Simple and straight forward. Will buy again. I only use this to test chlorine and use a digital device for pH. These are a good buy. Easy to read by color intensity. Only reads chlorine, alk, and pH, not calcium hardness. I use this on my hot tub. Accurate and consistent to my usage. Better than the price in spa shops in Alaska, they gouge ya cause we are limited in pool/spa resources.

They work. I can test the pool and then get a test done at the pool shop and get the same reading. This saves me trips to the pool shop to determine if I need more chlorine. I'll be buying this again when I am out of strips.
