Great set of clay tools for the price

Great set of clay tools for the price. I used these for a class project carving cylinder seals, and the students found all sorts of different ways they could use the different shapes for their designs.

Great quality!

Loved these! I bought them to begin learning to sculpt clay and they did the trick! They really have lasted a while (I bought them a year ago) and all of them still have their heads and handles! My only thing is that some heads are repeats of others. I personally dont mind, though. Oh. And a couple of them are HELLA sharp. So. Be careful. Lol

I got these 3 years ago and there still great only problem is that some times the needle part on the tools pops out. Can be fixed if you add a little glue. cleaning is a breeze

These are amazing for the price

I needed supplies for a clay class I was teaching for kids. I wanted something cheap enough to give to the kids when the classes were done. Most of what I was looking for were plastic and cheap. These are amazing, they are build really well and worked so well!!!! They are great deal!

Decent!

For those times when I want to sculp I have the tools handy. Very quick shipping, {2} seem sturdy, but I am not an expert using them. They are user friendly, in-expensive enough to learn on without spending a whole lot of money. If you get the clay, use the tools, find out it is not a hobby you enjoy doing, you are not out a whole lot of money.

Great for pottery or scratch art sheets

I am not a super crafty person. I like art, but not always the best at it. Process vs Product for me. This set is very affordable. Even if you wanted to use them only a few times and get a new set (which would be a waste) but it's cheap enough you could. I don't see the need, but I am not a potter so maybe if I was using it all day every day they might wear down fast. For the person off the street using them, I think they are great. The shipping came much faster than it said which was a nice surprise. The set is nice. All 11 pieces are included. They have a nice feel to them with the wood handles. They clean up nicely. My daughter has found they work out EXCELLENTLY on her black scratch art sheets. (It's black and you scratch to show color under it in a design or pattern.) They are sharp so if going to use with young children please watch them. So right there we totally got our money's worth out of them. I haven't had them bend or break like some views commented about. I am wondering if it depends on how rough you are on them or what sort of project you use them for maybe. You can not beat the price for this set for sure.

Great deal

Great add on with the clay I ordered. I've paid more in the past for fewer pieces at craft stores. The only reason I rated this a 3 for beginners is because kids would need supervision but it's fine for adult beginners.

Great for stabbing yourself in the hand!

I"m just starting out with polymer clay sculpting, so I have no idea what to do with half of these yet (except stab myself in the hand, which I've already done a few times by accident), but it's a good--and SHARP--set, very well made, and you can't beat the price!
