No issues so far
I've had this for about half a year now and it's endured quite a bit. We had close to a feet of snow, torrential amounts of rain and other severe weather. It didn't affect this. I've driven at highway speeds in good conditions and bad, no issues. I've been in a car accident before where someone hit me in the back and I had this. The only part of the car with any noticeable damage was this with some bruising (but still intact!). I guess I can thank this product for saving my hitch. Overall, it's a great product and I have absolutely no complaints. The $5 I spent was well worth it.

It Just Works
BLUF - This does just what it's designed / supposed to do, it works well, and I'd buy it again. Why? The whole point of this product is to block debris and keep your hitch receiver clean, and it does just that. It's easy to install and remove, and it just plain works. It's a simple product with a simple design that works. What more could you ask a product to do? 5 Stars.

Excellent
It arrived on time, as described by Amazon & manufacturer, it was shipped on time, arrived within prescribed estimates, the packaging was undamaged, and the product itself was unmolested and made with quality materials. The device, although cosmetic at best, little functionality regarding rust prevention or dirt, fit very well and is currently doing its job. I have no complaints with this product as it is durable, quality made, and as I stated, cosmetic for me, it does reduce the socket's exposure to harsh weather and thereby reducing its proclivity for wear and tear/exposure degradation.

Simple and effective
This fits my 2×2 receiver very nicely. It is tight and has bounced around some in both sun and rain and has not moved at all. I saw some reviews saying it slips when wet. This may sound obvious, but wait until the hitch and cover are both dry. A few hours or days will not hurt it. This blends in well and is not even noticeable. It is simple and will keep the hitch dry and clean for a long time.

Simple. Works.
Fits perfect for the trailer hitch on my 2018 Crosstrek. Haven't had any issues. Just wanted something cheap to do the job and this is great. Didn't really want to have any brand names or logos on it but hey, why not? Curt makes great products and this was a fraction of the cost of other caps.

I like it!
First, the product description is wrong. No metal. This is a simple, friction fit, rubber plug. Fit is quite tight on my Curt front and factory Honda rear receivers, your experience may vary. I read one guy who said his came out in a car wash. That's not going to happen with mine, I'm betting his fit wasn't as tight or the plug wasn't fully pushed in, or a kid stole the darn thing. Second, soft, black, rubber look that doesn't draw attention to the receiver. Third, "Curt" logo is molded into rubber and barely visible unless you go looking for it. I'd like it better with no logo but this ain't bad. Fourth, don't know how it will weather, will update if our Southern sunlight makes them whiten or stiffen. But then, maybe I'll put some UV protector on them. Fifth, no theft protection. This could be a problem, particularly if your truck is frequently parked where young hooligans frequent. That said, there's nothing to draw their misdirected attention to these things and @$5, it wouldn't be the end of the world. Have fun.

Fits perfectly...
in my Curt Class 3 hitch. It's snug and had to bang it with my shoe to get it in, which is good because I don't need to worry about it falling out. I left a tiny bit of space in order to more easily pry it out when needs be. Recommended.

It's rubber and it fits my hitch. Exactly what I expected.
Fits my 2 x 2 receiver snug enough that it shouldn't fall out. My last cover had a strap so I could hang the cover when not in use. That part wore out very fast, so I didn't think I needed that feature again. This cover is a great replacement. Quick tip: Double check that your cover is still on your hitch after using an automatic car wash. I lost my last one after getting a wash.

Does the trick
* It looks Good, which makes me look good. * Keep debris, and most importantly, water and salt out of the receiver. * Fits a regular sized receiver (mine is a class 3), not the small 1.25 inch - Class 1 type. If you have a Class 1 hitch, I beg you to man up and get a class 3. * Fits snugly, but is still able to come out without a hitch (pun intended). * Has the name "Curt" written on it in raised lettering, which is a total bonus if your name is Curt. As soon as I find one with my name (Nicodemus), I will totally replace this unit. Maybe even one with my nickname (The Snow Viking).

Fits tight and looks nice
I read where some people posted the hitch cover they bought fell out of their hitch within a short period of time. I was hesitant to order, but decided to give it a try. The one I received fits tightly into a 2" Draw-tite hitch. I install/remove the cover several times each week as I use the hitch for a bike rack and I haven't experienced any looseness in the cover.
