We love this product and use it as a youth bed ...

We love this product and use it as a youth bed for our grandson. It is easy to store, inflate and deflate, and he loves it. We also can move it into any room we chose to have him sleep in. The motor we use to blow up the two parts of the mattress, take less than 1 or 2 minutes to blow up and it deflates in about the same amount of time. We also love the storage container that comes with it, where we can store the motor and the mattress in a very small area. Although there are fitted sheets that one can purchase, we use a regular twin sheet set, folded in half and it works great. One of the best products we have purchased.

Best travel bed ever

This plastic airbed is perfect when staying at hotels and not wanting to pay for an extra bed. My daughter almost exclusively sleeps in this thing when we travel. It takes 2 minutes to get set up and it takes 4 minutes to collapse. There is no very strong noticeable smell when we originally unpacked it and the stuff sack is perfect sized for the bed when folding it back up. It is the second one we got. The first one started leaking after 3 years on the seams. They provide a 50% discount for a new one, so we went with that since it is such a great quality bed that travels everywhere with us. One final note, the plastic is not the type of cheap airbed plastic you usually get, this is very thick sturdy plastic material.

Near Perfect Kids Travel Bed!

Love, Love, Love. This bed takes about 30 seconds to blow up. You can tuck the sheet in. It doesn't have a overly powerful plastic smell (although I did air it out in the basement for about a week). The sides keep my very active sleeper from falling onto the floor. There is no squeaking noises from the plastic when he moves in the middle of the night. I had read reviews from another kids travel bed that had the squeaking issue so I'm VERY happy this one did not. My 4 year old son sleeps very comfortably on it when we travel and my 11 year old Nephew finds it comfortable to sleep on when he spends the night. My only complaint is that I wish the bag were bigger. It is very difficult to get this back into the bag that it came with. Overall, I have researched several different kids travel beds and am very glad I bought this one.

I also love that the pump and bag come with it

Just used this recently and it is fabulous. My son is almost 2 and we used it for him. It literally took about 1 minute to air up and deflate. It also has a rubber stopper where you inflate it so when you blow it up you are not rushing to put the top on the hole before you lose all the air you just put in it. I also love that the pump and bag come with it, so it is very easy to transport. We used it as a bed on our hotel floor as well as on the floor at Grandmas house. It is perfect for travel and it fits a crib sheet perfectly on the inner mattress. The bumpers also work well to keep my son who moves a lot in his sleep on the bed and not ending up on the floor. One more important feature is that I am able to lay with my son on the mattress while he falls asleep and because the mattress does not make a lot of noise it was easy for me to not disturb him when I got up.

Love this bed

Love this bed! We bought the toddler size for our two year old and it is PLENTY big for her to grow. Thanks to Prime, we had it overnighted to my grandmothers house in time for us to arrive via airplane, after I realized I made no plans nor packed anything for her to sleep on. My grandparents (in their mid 90’s who are French speaking) opened and pumped it up for us! That being said, it’s very easy to understand/use. Then I was able to roll it up and fly it home in my suitcase which I was not expecting to have to do, but it easily fit. The only complaint I have is the storage/travel bag that the bed and pump fits into has no carry strap or anything.

Bought in 2017, and still my go to travel mattress for our kids.

I purchased two of these blow up mattresses to travel with our 1 year old twins, now 3 when cribs weren’t an option. After 2 years I’m happy to say they still work great and we haven’t had any issues. The pump is noisy, but inflates quick, they are easy to set up, take down and folds up nicely in the bag provided. They’ve come in handy on many occasions besides traveling, like when we evacuated due to a hurricane, or when the kids are sick (toddlers in daycare it will happen) and scream to sleep in our room, but don’t want them in the bed with us, we’ll set these up on the floor. Or when our AC broke in the Florida summer we all squeezed into one room with a portable AC. And I’m sure they’ll get used for camping trips at some point. I was originally skeptical of the price because I had to buy two, but quality purchase and glad I got them and worth the money.

Amazing Customer Service & Bed

We feel this product is great quality and an excellent price. Several reviews have mentioned the carry bag is not large enough but we had no problem - the bed fit back in beautifully. The pump supplied is excellent and much quieter than many others we have had. Our 4 1/2 year old granddaughter was thrilled with the bed and slept very well through the nights. This company gives unbelievable customer service. We received the bed a few months before we first used it. When we opened the carry bag 4 days before a trip we thought the pump was missing. We contacted the company and asked if there was any was they could expedite shipping a pump to us before our trip. They took great effort and managed to do so. My husband had opened the bed when it arrived and had not remembered receiving the pump. Just before leaving for our short trip he located the original pump in a closet. This Company is amazing to have met our needs no questions asked in such a short time frame. Their product will fit our granddaughter for years to come and we are impressed with the quality of this bed.

Love the Shrunks: The Difference Between the Intex and The Shrunks

Let me start by saying that we own the Shrunks and I love it! We have also owned the Intex version. I have seen a lot of reviews asking about the difference between the Intex bed (which can be purchased at Walmart) and this one. Hope this review helps (I had similar questions) I purchased the Intex from Walmart first, because it was cheaper and I wasn't sold on the idea of paying nearly $60 for an inflatable bed for my 2-year-old. But the Intex bed is huge. A small adult could sleep in it. It does not fit well into small spaces (like in grandma's guest room between the bed and the wall). And an electric pump is a must, unless you want to spend 30 minutes pumping up your bed, which we did with the Intex. The Shrunks bed is smaller by about 10 inches across and it's longer (head to toe) and still roomy enough for a child. The Shrunks bed has an electric pump and it does really inflate in <1 minute (though the side rails inflate separately, so you can put a sheet on the mattress before inflating). It also has a deflate option which works well (as long as you use the nozzle tips that come with the pump). I had serious doubts that we would be able to deflate that bed and fold it back up small enough to get into the tiny storage bag provided, but we did and I was thrilled (see attached photo). This bed is great. I would advise letting it air out in an empty room or outside for a few days when you first purchase it to reduce the smell. Also, if you decide to try the Intex bed, it is not returnable to Walmart, so if-as with us - you decide it won't work, you're stuck with it.

Great Buy

Needed some kind of portable bed for when my toddler grand children when they sleep over. After reading the reviews and I took a shot on ordering it . So glad I did! Perfect for sleepovers! a pump is included. The material seems to be pretty durable. I do recommend no jumping on it though. It also came in its own carry case that will also fit the pump. I bought crib sheets that fit perfect. This is an absolute great deal. It is so easily portable. I'm buying another for my grandchildren so they can be comfortable when they go camping. It blows up so fast and it very easy to attach the pump. The pump actually has a few different size attachments, if you have other things that may need to be blown up. It deflates quickly and folding it is a breeze. Very impressed for the money.
