Okay---if this is going to be the ONLY ironing board you have, you can make it great. It doesn't arrive great, but its bones are a good starting point. I wanted this to be on the narrow closet door (or, one side of a double anyway). The width is perfect but it didn't feel steady enough to even use. I would sell this in a kit including a good door stop, flat bungee cords, a good pad and cover and some of those clip-ons like for holding sheets on a bed. The cover and pad on my ancient ironing board are in good condition--obviously well-used but very heavy. Try not to look at how dirty it looks--but the one that comes on the Honey-Can-Do is very thin and very cheap. I had to cut the pointy end off--and it took some major clipping to get it on the board itself. Unless you strap this thing to the door, your iron is going to be falling off and burning the floor or you---two heavy duty bungees (flat works best) will have this thing like it's screwed to the door. The braces/hangers are made for a thicker door than this one is--looks like it would be on a door leading to outside. I took the door knob hook off my door to make it lie flat... Let's see...what else do you have to do to make it great...? Well---for this cheap a price point, you get what you pay for--but with a few cheap add-ons and a little effort on your part, you'll get what you thought you wanted in the first place. I am just delighted not to have a full-sized ironing board set up in my office bedroom all the time and being tempted to pile crap on it. It just arrived at 2:00 this afternoon and I knocked it into shape--I think I'm going to love it!

I have a small 10 x 12 sewing studio that also serves as an office. Needless to say, space is at a premium! This ironing board is very sturdy, provides plenty of ironing surface, and just closes away easily when not needed! I was a little confused about the product dimensions so here's some additional information:. Length of sewing board when opened: 42" Width of sewing board when opened: 14.5" Height of sewing board when opened: 36.5" Width of sewing board metal frame: 16.5" Length of sewing board metal frame: 48.5"

Light weight and sturdy. Really like that i can just flip it down and start ironing. Very convenient with a little modifications. The 1/2 inch tube straps (two hole) make a world of difference in regard to sturdiness.

This thing is amazing! My husband had an old wobbly ironing board from yearsss ago and I wanted something more sturdy. But they are ridiculously expensive. I found this and with a baby and limited space it’s great. Made well. Easy to use and hang up. Not flimsy or awkward since it folds down. And very thin against door. Awesome product.

Have had this for well over a year. It works great. Compact, easy to use and not cumbersome at all. Close the door, drop the iron board down and you are good to go. It’s not as large as a full size ironing board but it offers just enough ironing space to iron shirts pants and suit jackets I replaced our full size ironing board with this one and am very happy with this purchase. No regrets Stop reading my review and buy it!

I was so sick of storing our full-sized ironing board, wrestling it out of the closet and then trying to maneuver around it until the iron cooled and I had a chance to put it away. I looked into wall-mount iron boards, and they are crazy expensive. I'm so glad I found this! It fits over our bedroom door. It's accessible, gets the job done, and goes right back up when we're done with it.

Didn't have a door in my travel trailer do using c-clamps we mounted it to the wall. It works great!

I have this hanging over a hollow core closet door. It is not secured to the door since I don't know how to do the anchored screw thing, so it bumps slightly when I iron. Even with that, I like it. It is way better than dragging a full size board out of the closet, constantly setting it up and taking it down. I use it for pressing during the sewing process and for an occasional quick press of clothing. Works for me.

great product for an apartment without room for a full size ironing board. I did not secure it to the door (just put it over the door) and don't have any issues. one downfall is that the board is of course rather short, and does not have a smaller, thinner fold out for shirt sleeves like more high-quality cabinet-style fold down systems.

Having an ironing board this handy is so much easier than dragging out a full sized board, especially for just a touchup job. I've always hated ironing, but having this board makes me more inclined to iron hubby's shirt without too much objection. Also would be good for a sewing room if you happen to sew alot. It is very easy to set up on the back of a door. My only complaint is that the padding with the cover could have been thicker.
