I have been through many cheaper versions of a drying racks and none of them lasted. This one is the best by far!!! This is a very good quality rack and is extremely sturdy. I use it daily and it is still "good as new". No rust to stain clothes, no collapsing with heavy clothes, and no slivers from wood. I leave this set up all the time, so cant comment on whether it would show more wear if folding it and opening it daily. I have had one of the plastic "feet" come out, but I popped it back in with a bit of glue and it held fine. Love this rack!!! Would highly recommend!

Using a dryer really makes your energy bill shoot up. I bought this to save some money and energy! I use it to hang up some of my items in the basement to dry. It was easy to assemble and has been quite durable and stable both when things are hanging on it and when it's empty. My energy bill already decreased from last month! It's actually kind of relaxing for me to hang things up. :)

Pretty easy to assemble. Just insert the rods into the notches on each side of the frame. Sometimes the rods want to pop out of the notches when you fold it up. But, holds a regular load of laundry from my apartment's (communal) washer. Helps to save some money on drying the clothes and as a bonus helps to humidify the apartment (we have a heat pump for heating).

LOVE this! I hand wash a lot of my sweaters and this has been perfect for drying them. I have even started partially drying all of my laundry on this rack to save on electricity. It has enough rungs to hang a full load. I put my laundry on it, let it stay until it's about 90 percent dry and then throw my clothes in the dryer for about 15 -20 minutes. They come out perfectly - no stiffness or wrinkles. This rack has saved me a lot of money. I have used wooden racks that have warped from the dampness of the clothes. This metal rack is easy to use and easy to store.

This is so handy to have. I do a lot of drip-dry laundry. I keep this rack in the bathtub and hang the wet clothing on it. It’s more sturdy and holds together better than some metal ones I’ve had.

I bought one of these when I lived in Houston. The contraption was phenomenal. It did just what I needed it to do, always had enough rack space, and looked good drying. I kept it out and hung my towel on it when it wasn't being used for laundry once a week, because my apartment only had one towel rack for two people. It made my ultra-soft baby blue bamboo towel look so good and decorated our room with more blue. I moved to Hawaii after college, and I bought one from Walmart (a different brand) to save $6. Worst idea ever. It didn't come assembled. When it was assembled, it was not uniform in color and did not look chrome like this. I always took it down after I used because I disliked looking at it. I gladly got rid of it when I moved to Nashville just recently. I bought this same product again, and it's the same high quality I was used to in Houston. As a side note, I wouldn't recommend it for outside drying, especially in windy areas. That's the only reason I would think someone could give it a so-so review, aside from random manufacturing defects. Cannot say enough good things about this product.

I'm really glad I decided to spend the money on this drying rack- the quality is great and I can tell it's going to last. I've had this for about a month and a half and it's awesome. It's sturdy and well-made. It does take a little effort to open up or collapse, but that's just part of the quality (the old drying rack went up in a second without any effort, but was a wobbly mess). It also isn't huge. It fits 1-1.5 loads worth of air dry laundry for me. The top rack holds only one blouse at a time. It's perfect for me, because I only do laundry for one person, but if you're doing laundry for a whole family, I'd buy two or even three of these. I would definitely suggest this drying rack to a friend and plan to purchase another myself if I ever need to do laundry for more then one person.

This product certainly helps me save money on my power bill every month by avoiding the dryer which also heats up the house. Double whammy in the Tennessee Summer Heat.

We have been looking for a clothes drying rack to use in case of emergencies...this fit the bill perfectly...can hang clothes outside or inside in the winter, to be dried by the heat in our home. It is chrome which tells me my clothes will be stain free (if I wash them right that is...) I had read a previous opinion and in it the lady stated she would not be getting any stains on her clothes with a Chrome dryer as opposed to an old wooden, stained drying rack. Never gave that a thought, but wooden racks do eventually get stains and they can transfer to the clothing...so this little jobbie is perfect ! Thanks Amazon for another wonderful product. I can find nearly anything I need at Amazon...usually go there first when searching for something 'reasonably priced'.

This is a heavy duty drying rack. The metal will take a lot of abuse and you don't really have to worry about it bending unless you do something intentional with a lot of force. The chrome looks substantial and, at least at this early juncture, it appears you don't have to worry about rust either. Oddly though, like other reviewers, I, too, received mine with missing leg caps. I called the seller on the phone and within two days received replacements via ordinary mail. Given that at least two other reviewers had the same problem, the manufacturer/seller really should look into their quality control operation. But as long as they make good on easily sending the leg caps, no problem---I guess. Hey, what can I say. Think Iraq war. Stuff just happens! Further, upon first opening the rack, it may appear to be too tight to open. This rack is not riveted. It has screws. Loosen the screws a little. But only a little. Like an 1/8 of a turn. And not necessarily all of them. Over time, this may result in the rack becoming too lose and you might start to lose screws. So, beware. Look at the screws each time you close the rack to see if any are missing. I guess it comes down to, if it was rivted, it would be cheaply made and unable to be adusted. With screws, it's better made but you risk losing screws. All in all, I would rate this item as manufactured very well and very sturdy. The reason why I'm giving it five stars is because how easily the seller made good on its product. Had it been missing the leg caps and impossible to replace, four stars for the product and I would not buy from this seller again.
