Went back and bought another for my other kid
This thing is a must-have for the organizationally-challenged, such as myself. I have one for each of my children and it's the perfect little all-in-one package for all of baby's legal documents, hospital/pediatrician stuff, mementos, etc... It's large enough that I've put their baby books in them also, so in case of an emergency where we'd need to evacuate in a hurry, I can just grab these suckers.

Useful!
Great way to keep kids important documents organized. I have purchased two over the last 6 years for my daughters. The only two negatives is the briefcase cannot hold a large amount of paperwork and their are not enough extra tabbed folders provided.

My “go to” baby shower gift!
I have owned one since 2005 for my daughter’s papers and I have purchased one for every one of my friends and family members who have had a baby since then. I’ve never had a problem with this product. It keeps everything organized, neat and accessible.

BabyBriefcase
I think most parents would laugh at the BabyBriefcase slogan, `Which weighs more at birth, the baby or the paperwork'? You know, the birth certificate, insurance information, paperwork from the pediatrician, warranties for baby items, social security forms, and the list goes on and on of the paper trail that amasses by your child's sheer existence. If you are anything like me, you will want to keep all of your child's massive amounts of paperwork organized together and I have been able to do that quite well with the BabyBriefcase. The BabyBriefcase simplifies the organization of your child's important paperwork and has made my handling of our kid's paperwork so much easier. The BabyBriefcase is a frosted plastic briefcase made in unisex colors with a snap closure that includes nine letter-sized folders for paperwork (although you can definitely add more on your own). The set includes lots of marked file labels (even a NICU label) so you can pick and chose which nine you want to add to the folders and there are also some blank labels to personalize. I loved and used the included photo pocket and side name tag pocket for a bookshelf (or filing cabinet) as well as the six wallet sized baby information cards for caregivers. The only thing I never used in this set was the Thank You Note Tracker since I have never had a problem keeping up with my thank you cards. However, it is probably a nice touch for those sleep-deprived parents out there that need that sort of tracking. Unlike my own documentation, our children's important life paperwork is all very neatly organized in this one little briefcase. Ahhh! Now that is a satisfying feeling as a momma.

Convenient for new moms
I'm a new mom with a 2 month old. I purchased this when my baby was a month old and it's very useful. I'm a practical person and didn't want to purchase it initially because it does seem like a "plastic file folder" that you can get at an office supply store. However, I realized that I'm way to busy to go to a supply store, create the labels, and decide how to organize my files. The usefulness of this briefcase is that it does it all for you. Is it worth the price? Well, how much is your time worth? For some, it's a cheap piece of plastic (which it is) and to me, it's a useful time-saver. It saved time not only upfront, but quickly helped me organize discharge papers, outstanding bills, her vaccination records, etc. When I go to the pediatrician, I always have everything with me. I don't have to rifle through a messy folder or go hunting throughout the house. I say buy it if you want to be organized without having to create the labels yourself. It should be less than $10, but it isn't, so you have to decide how badly you want to save time and effort.

Second One We Own! LOVE!
Purchased this for my now 3 year old 3 years ago and now own another for baby #2 on the way. I can’t imagine my life without it. Great to take with you to the hospital, so that all paperwork can be tossed in it. Wish I had this earlier with my 1st son, but didn’t know I was going to have so much paperwork after delivering. Now all doctors visits, bills etc. stay neatly organized. I’m still able to rave about it 3 years later.

Highly recommend!
Bought this for my daughter twice now for my two grand babies so they each have their own set of medical records. She loves it and takes it with her every time she takes the babies to the doctor. She also took it to the hospital when she had her children. With this you don't have to do the mad scramble to find health records or shot records for the doctor or for school. You always know where all of the children health records are. Highly recommend!

This is the best thing I've ever bought myself, and I love it
The only thing I managed to pack in our emergency hospital bag was snacks. Yes I packed a lot and a lot of snacks, a few T-shirts and some underwear but I didn't pack anything else. Our twins were born out of state and there was a lot of paperwork to go along with them, and of course I had no way to organize any of it. I should've had this thing from the beginning to organize all of the baby stuff. Why oh why did I not register for this wonderful product!? But now I have it and I jam things in there randomly, but that's actually more organized than how it would be which is just a bunch of random papers sitting on my coffee table. So I think it is a really excellent product. I understand that I could go to an office supply store and buy all the items for approximately $10, but I have twins and I don't have time for any of that. This thing is awesome and I don't want to hear anybody say that it's not awesome, unless you are literally Martha Stewart and then you are so organized you can just sip your hateraid about it, but otherwise you should just get this for anybody that is pregnant or going to have any baby at all in the approximately near future. I love this thing and I feel like a really fancy person with my briefcase.
