Very promising product
Having twins, buying the 3 gallon water at the store for bottles can add up. I finally decided to buy my own container and benefit from the cheap refills. Saw this one and liked all the positive feedback. I will update this ad time goes by but for now I am very pleased and satisfied with this purchase. Just remember to twist the cap loose a little too help with water flow. Also you can dispense the water by both pulling the lever up OR pushing the lever down which is very convenient. No leaks so far.

Fits in fridge, does not leak
This is the 2nd version I have purchased. I use it in a vacation rental home. The first one lasted about a year but then somebody dropped it when it was full and it broke. I use this to keep cold water in the fridge rather than getting a fridge with a cold water dispenser... much less expensive and takes up less room as well. Other reviewers have complained that unless the lid is removed that the water won't flow ..the simple solution is to just unscrew the lid a quarter turn or to make a pinhole in the lid.

Durable and held well, but kinda pricey
I bought this container to store and "age" water for my fishtank. It gets quite a bit of abuse as I lug it from under the sink to my fish tanks twice a week. I have been using it for many months now and the plastic have held up quite nicely. There are no leaks or cracks. When emptying out the water from the spigot, you so need to open the top cap to get some airflow and break the vacuum (duh). I like how it is shaped, it is compact and used space efficiently. My only gripe is the price. I've seen larger capacity containers go for cheaper than this one, not sure why this is more expensive.

I love it as much as you can love a plastic water container.
Second one I bought. The first one lasted about six years. The local store I bought it at doesn't carry them anymore so I came to Amazon because I wanted the exact same one. It actually broke through no fault of its own. I dropped it and the spigot broke. I love it. It fits perfectly on the top shelf of the fridge. I use a Brita water filter pitcher to fill it up and then I put it in my fridge. The container of filtered water lasts about three days. With this and some reusable water bottles I have fresh, clean, cold water all the time at near zero cost. No wasteful disposable water bottles. I've had this one now for a couple of weeks and it seems it will be as reliable as the first.

Use for iced tea
Are use this in my refrigerator and brew 2 gallons of ice tea and then it’s easy to dispense. I like that it’s tall and shallow so it fits on my shelf of my refrigerator and I can still put stuff behind it it’s about seven or 8 inches wide so there still plenty of space on the shelf next to it as well. The plastic that it’s made out of is a good quality and it’s hard but not the type that cracks also has no BPA which is a good thing

Great to have an abundance of water in the fridge
OUr tap water is really good, so this is a cheap way to ensure we always have cold water in the fridge. We have 2 of them in there and just refill the empty one and draw from the cold one. We drink a lot more water as a result.

We love these beverage containers a lot
We always have one of these in both fridges full if water. My husband drills a small hole in the cap about one-third of an inch to allow the air to escape. If you don't then you have to loosen the lid every time you get water out of it. I have a third one NOT in the fridge also full of water for when I need water that doesn't need to be cold. Our living arrangements are unusual and the faucet is not close plus, we live in a condo basement. Plus I an handicapped and ride around my kitchen on an office chair. We love these beverage containers a lot.

Great for a laundry detergent dispenser
I was tired of lifting those huge jugs of detergent into the cabinet above my washer each time I needed to use it. I can fill it up, and dispense a capful at a time. It has saved my arms and back!! I pour the whole container of detergent into it, and keep only the cap for measurement. It's perfect!

Good containers.
These are really nice beverage containers and I've been using them for years, this one was delivered without the cap on top. Luckily I had a lid from the one I was replacing.. I was going to give it 4 stars but the problem was not caused by the manufacturer .. IF you get one with the cap I think you will like this product. 12-07-2015 UPDATE.. I just bought another one and it was delivered, so .... Yes.. I do like them. ( this one came with a cap.. ) 07-05-2017 UPDATE.. I dropped it and through no fault of the manufacturer... I needed a new one.. I just ordered another one and it was delivered.. I'm happy.

Perfect for Iced Tea in The Refrigerator
Like others, it's on a shelf in the refrigerator, full of iced tea already sweetened and containing lemon juice. We put ice in a glass and simply hold it under the valve of this container. Works great. Unscrew the cap so it's just loose on top and doesn't create a vacuum. I also bought cut black tea and powdered Splenda from Amazon, buying just lemons and limes locally. By trial and error I have a pretty good recipe for the amount of tea to fill it, if anyone wants it. And I'd appreciate suggestions for improvement.
