Our 2 year old loves this. I had forgotten as we bought it and waited to put it together for her birthday, that it comes with the train set- a bonus. She is not much for sitting, so we looked for a stand up table, and wanted storage inside. Love it

Great play table!

I *love* this table! It looks much nicer in person (photos make the wood appear unfinished, but it's actually got a super-smooth, plastic coating), the train set is totally compatible with Thomas the Train and Brio, and (to my happy surprise), the Lego-compatible surface is actually Lego-compatible (see photos). I read reviews complaining about the strength needed to make pieces really stick. I agree that the included (non-Lego) bricks are difficult to work with. Real Lego bricks, however, work great. My kids are almost 7 and almost 4, and they both love this table. I bought a second one so that one could be the designated train table and one could be the designated Lego table. I thought we'd have to extend the table legs so everybody could sit at chairs, but the stock height is actually quite nice for sitting on the floor and playing (for both the kids and me). Edited to add: Bonus - a 550-piece puzzle juuuust fits!

Bought this for a gift for my nephew and it was the perfect size for a smaller home. He had plenty of room to walk around it with 3 other cousins playing too. As usual KidKraft created a well constructed activity table. We have the larger one and is still standing strong after 7 years of hard play.

Some of the lego pieces it comes with are not easy to build but still it is a good deal

My two year old son loves it. He can play hours without asking for attention. Some of the lego pieces it comes with are not easy to build but still it is a good deal. Lego duplo pieces work on that too and also the train set is simple but enough to entertain a two year old.

Perfect

I bought this for my almost 2 year old. She is going on three now and still adores it. It is the perfect size for a toddler. I did buy the Lego duplo blocks for her instead of the tiny ones that come with the table.

Life saver!

I am not getting compensated for my review. I bought this for my son for Christmas since logos snd trains are his two favorite things. It was delivered on time and was very easy to put together! My son absolutely loves it. And I love it because I get to reclaim space in my living room and have my coffee table back again! The storage space under is home to the trains and we use lego shaped bins that we got at a local lego show to store the legos in which live under the table when not in use. It makes clean up very easy and my son is actually excited to do clean up now that he has his own activity area to make his own.

We purchased this for our daughter's 4th birthday. She loves to build legos so we thought this was great way for her to have a separate space to build and store her legos. At 16 inches tall I was worried it would be short for my tall daughter, however, now as she plays with it, the size is perfect. Standing over it, she can reach all the sides or sit down to play with it. A favorite part for me is the storage space underneath which is almost 4 inches tall. Great size for a small container to hold the legos and train set. The legos included are a bit on the cheap side, but work fine. The duplos we have do fit, just not perfect (she received the new princess duplo sets for her birthday as well). The train set is really nice. It's a light weight table and slides easily on carpet which is great as my daughter can slide it to the middle of the room then back to the wall when she is done. We considered multiple lego tables, especially ones with the art space on the reverse, but decided our daughter can do art anywhere so having the option for legos and a train set was more versatile. Plus, she love to use her miniature dolls with the train set side. After doing the research and seeing it in action, I would look no further than this lego table. At a great price on Amazon (or on sale at Toys R Us) it's well worth it.

Best storage for Lego lovers! or train lovers alike!

My kids absolutely love this table although they use the Lego side more than the map side. My daughter uses the map side more for drawing or putting together lego sets when she wants to sit on the floor. The table isn't big enough to fit chairs underneath it, but the kids never mind sitting on the floor indian style, or even on their knees, when using the table. It was easy to put together and has survived a year now. I have strong belief that it will last many more years to come. My kids are pretty tough on things and this has survived! It's still as the strong as the day I put it together. It holds a boat load of Legos, or I can see that it could hold a bunch of trains and tracks as well if used as a train table more than legos. I highly recommend this table!!

However if you put the 2X4 block pieces under them works great!.

Got this for my son's 4th birthday he is a Lego nut. But legos were constantly being stepped on and he was always trying to build on the couch (not pleasant to sit on Legos) He was so excited when he saw this table he used it immediately. Now we have had the table for about 2 months and its full. Haha. If I were to complain about anything is just the big flat Lego pieces do not stick on the table well. However if you put the 2X4 block pieces under them works great!.

This is so freaking cute + great quality! My son has his new favorite thing to play with/at! We chose this because it is small enough for our little apartment but still lots to do for our kiddo. I put it together myself in only a few minutes. I'm really happy with this purchase.
