I gave these out as gifts and everyone seemed pleased to receive them. I actually haven't eaten any myself. {o: I do like that one can eat just one small piece, or two, or three...

They are very dark and not so sweet. One sqaure is semi sweet

I meant to order Ghiradelli dark. chocolate filled with rasberry. I ordered these instread. They are very dark and not so sweet. One sqaure is semi sweet. Here is what I did. I melted a square in a cup of coffee and added a packet of equal. What an awesome holiday beverage. I am so happy with my purcharse this could make excellent hot cocoa, brownies and specialty coffee as I have detailed. It will definitely quench a chocolate craving. I am most pleased.

Love these chocolates!

These are so good that it is very hard to just eat one square a day. The 60% Cacao is very good for you which is why I bought them. Of course they are very pricey. They also packed and shipped them very well. They put them in a silver bag, the type that keeps them cool, and then they put cooling packs in the box with them to keep them at a good temperature and they do not overheat and melt. They also came pretty fast.

Delicious and quality treat for a bad day

So no one told you life was going to be this way. No matter, grab a square of Ghirardelli to make your day just a little brighter. Missed the train? Accidentally offended a friend? Forgot to buy the three other ingredients to make s'mores? No problem. Ghirardelli has consistently been a quality producer of chocolate. This particular percentage (60%) allows for the rich natural taste of the chocolate to come through without being too bitter. None of that cocoa butter nonsense going on here. Even better, the chocolate comes in nicely portioned squares for maximal convenience. Six bags is probably a lot for one person, but having some extra chocolate on hand is an excellent way to make friends. I brought two bags on a road trip, and the mood lifted dramatically once I whipped out the bags. The six bags come packaged in one box, complete with air bag for cushioning. They are protected by a plastic outer bag for perfect transportation. Other reviewers have mentioned the wrappers having strange messages or staleness, which made me pretty apprehensive. Our Dieting Aid

My husband and I have been on a diet and have done very well (over 25 pounds) and these GHIRARDELLI CHOCOLATE SQUARES are a regular part of the foods we eat. The reason we chose them is that a) they are dark chocolate and dark chocolate has health benefits; and b) they scratch that itch for something sweet. One square is 52 calories! And remarkably we've found that they kill that craving for something sweet. My husband never eats more than one; and choco-holic that I am, I still have never eaten more than 2. So a splurge is 104 calories... less than one tiny bag of chips. SUMMARY $21 dollars is a great price for our area. We bought the pack of 6 because we can share with the kids and still have enough for the ones that we consume as part of our weight maintenance. Tasty, quantity controlled, and with health benefits.

delicious chocolate

It is hard to find packages of 60% dark chocolate without added caramel or other flavors. This is my go to treat, 1 square after breakfast. The squares are just the right size for the amount of dark chocolate recommended for health.

Ghiradelli has the same great taste since their beginning! My wife & I have thoroughly enjoyed their delicious chocolates since 1968 when we first tried their products while living in San Francisco. We truly enjoyed visiting their store along Fishermen’s Wharf😋

Irresponsible amount of chocolate

These are my dad's favorites so I got him the 6 pack for fathers day and to bribe him to help me move a few pieces of furniture. I had one piece myself and it's pretty good. Good value, came in a nice foam bubble wrap packaging I think was designed to keep it cool so it didn't melt. Kind of annoyed I had to buy in a pack of 6, but oh well. My dad is a chocoholic so I doubt he's complaining.

The best there is, bar none!

As good as chocolate can get get. Am a lifetime customer. I enjoy 60% as 72% is just a tad on the bitter side!
