Hey, you: avoid horrendous traveller's diarrhea!

Well, the title really says it all. Just a quick travel tip - I took 3 bottles of this on a recent trip to India to take as a preventative measure and I am so glad I did. I have never taken pepto before and didn't know if it would do anything, but it definitely helped. We took 1 capsule (1/2 adult amount) before every meal or snack, and man, we were not being overly cautious about where we ate - street food, raw juice, karah parshad at a small-town gurudwara...and no crazy travel stomach stories that you often hear. Granted, you never fully have your proper appetite, but no one had to rush to the bathroom at a truly inopportune time, and we got to be much more adventurous eaters. A low-grade of nausea but still being able to sight-see is far better than the bathroom horror stories I heard of before my trip. Disclaimer - this stuff will make your poops weirdly dark and have an odd consistency, but hey... those street samosas are worth it. The practical: The capsules are unflavored but hard to dry-swallow, so make sure you have bottled/trusted water with you at all times!

Great in regiment for the relief of IBS and Diverticulitis.

I love the convenience of these when you can't take a bottle! It works. I take it with 4 capsules of the Phillips Colon Health Probiotic Supplement to treat my IBS and Diverticulitis. Taken together everything moves more smoothly and all at once for normal result rather than for several hours with pain while it travels... I have been taking 4 of the colon health probiotics and 2 pepto tabs per day for over 6 months and I am pain free and "mostly" in control. A local doctor told me about the regiment and I am so glad.

A great change!

I've used Pepto Bismol for many years off and on as needed. The liquid is not that terrible, but these are so much more convenient and easy to use. Interesting that both Pepto and Alka Seltzer both came out with similar products around the same time.

Pepto Bismol caps to the rescue

These are my old standby, all-time go-to rescue for upset stomach or diarrhea. Toss the bottle into my briefcase or pocket, shopping or travelling, and I'm set. The caps work fast and stop distress. Work like a dream.

Missing peppermint pepto

These work okay, not found of the pepto taste so these you can swallow. I have found I don’t like to use them sometimes because I don’t want a drink. I miss the peppermint pepto and that’s why I bought these.

It's Pepto! It's does what it suppose to.

Expensive! I hate the liquid but a lot cheaper. No taste because they are not chewable. Travel question is not pertinent. All meds, supplements and vitamins can be taken while traveling. Amazon remove this question from med and health items.

Great deal great price

I cannot believe how inexpensive this 3 pack was! They have the taste of Wintergreen not The flavor of the one in the bottle which I can’t stand. They chew like a chewy candy I’m extremely happy that they came out with this product and a perfect value from the Amazon!

Great for travel

I take a lot of Pepto at the advice of my Doctor to help control my colitis...and this is a great way to take it while travelling. I just keep it handy in my bag and do not have to worry about the liquid spilling, or adding extra weight to my luggage! I still take the liquid when I'm home, but this is a neat alternative.

Good product

We bought these for our trip to Dominican Republic. My daughter gets upset stomach from the liquid pepto bismal but no one had any complaints about these nor did anyone get sick. Good buy

Little miracle workers.

I never knew that Pepto came in caplet form, and I hate medicinal suspensions, so I never tried it until I stumbled across this product. While eating more fiber fixed 90% of my digestive issues, these fix almost all the rest. They work for basically everything except severe acid stomach. Pretty surprising. If you are allergic to aspirin, these are not for you, otherwise, try them! And yes, pink is the actual natural color of the active ingredient.
