Does what the name implies, removes those extra stuck on bug guts that a normal car wash sponge leaves behind. Happy with purchase, sponge has held up well after many uses.

Best microfiber sponge on the market. Used it with B.E.S.T. Bug-Off Remover and the bugs wipe right off with little effort. After I was finished I just rinsed the sponge in warm water and it was clean and ready to use again. No loose strings or threads hanging from the sponge anywhere. And I gave it a thorough work out. Purchased 2 of them and am going to purchase some more to have on hand. Excellent product for you car, boat, camper, etc. Wife uses the other one in the kitchen. She's sold too. :-)

I take road trips a lot and I really needed something to help me remove the bugs afterwards and it was great! Let me scrub a little more than other car sponges but still not scratching the paint or plastic parts in the front of my car

I use this and B.E.S.T. 45032 Bug-Off Bug Remover Spray Bottle and with very little effort it removes the bugs. It has removed bugs baked on for weeks in the 80+ degree heat. HIGHLY recommend this bug and car remover over all the rest and buy that spray it actually WORKS unlike Turtle Wax! Kiss bugs and tar goodbye with this combination.

I ordered this because I do a lot of driving at dusk, which where I live, is when all the bugs come out. I use this thing all the time and it really helps me remove bugs from the front of my car. Since it is so soft, sometimes you have to lightly scrub the bugs a bit if they've been on there a while. This is fine with me, though, because even after many uses it appears to have left my paint untouched :). When my current one wears out, I'll definitely buy another!

This sponge is very effective for cleaning bugs from your car, especially from the front bumper. Make sure to either foam your car or spray water to loosen the bugs and other debris before using this sponge to clean them off. Otherwise, you might end up adding swirl marks to your paint because of dried bugs and derbies rubbing against the paint. Also make sure to have a bucket with grit guard so you can clean this sponge often while cleaning your car. It does the job well so I recommend this sponge.

In my lifetime I have probably used every one of these that has ever been made by every company worldwide. Without question this is the finest micro fiber mesh bug and car Sponge I have ever used!!!!!

My Tesla Model 3 front end is a bug magnet, and I needed something like this that would help get the bugs off while not scratching the paint. I chose this because of its microfiber mesh design. It's worked well in getting most of the bugs off my front end and headlights. I use it in combination with a waterless car wash/wax solution.

I bought this Viking Microfiber Mesh Bug and Tar sponge along with a gallon of the 3D Professional Bug Remover. We have two love bug seasons in Southwest Florida, one in the spring and a second one in the fall. If you aren't familiar with love bugs, they are small black flies that tend to "fly united" and are often found swarming on hot asphalt (highways) and the sides of houses. Fortunately they do not bite, but they are insidious enough to sneak into your home and smash against the front of your cars, And there lies the problem. The little buggers are composed of some type of natural acid that if left to sit on your cars' finish will eat into the paint. Then you really have a problem! We use the local car washes every week to try to keep the problem to a minimum, but any time that we venture out onto a highway I have to hand wash the cars that same evening to protect the paint. We've seen long-haul trucks pull into town that have driven several hundred miles of our highways during love bug season. The front of the truck is almost solid black and the radiators are so clogged up that they are risking engine damage from over-heating. But the combination of a proper car shampoo and/or bug removal solution along with warm water and a little elbow grease will take care of the problem. It's important to use a microfiber sponge to retain the car wash solution and also rub off ALL the bug residue without scratching the paint on your car. This is the best combination of methods I know of to tackle this problem.

I use this cloth in conjunction with standard window wiper fluid and it works amazing. I only have have to use one swipe to get any bugs or gunk off my window shield. This thing is like a dry eraser for bugs and will take them off immediately. I am not sure why some people are leaving negative comments or reviews, but I highly recommend using this with some sort of wiping fluid. Let the fluid sit for 15 seconds or so and then wipe. This can be cleaned by simple scrubbing it down with some warm soapy water, then rinsing it with clean water, and ringing it out until dry. Its very easy to keep this clean and use it forever.
