Item arrived and looked as expected. Perfect for the truck, need a weight distribution shank that dropped low enough to accommodate hauling my 33' Camper. My husbands ram diesel 2500 was lifted 4 inches and once he put 37" tires w RIMS on it, truck sat even higher. We couldn't beat the price purchasing this item from amazon. After checking RV store, auto store and other websites, this was a far better deal. Quality is heavy duty and nicely made. We also like that we were able adjust the drop as there are several drilled holes which came in handy once he removed summer tires/rims to stockys for winter.

Install was easy, went together without a hitch. It was the receiver of many compliments. Quality very good, made my jaw drop. If you feel like you're getting shanked with the price, you should know that it's worth the stretch. I'm sorry, I'm a little short on time, not trying to sound curt.

I needed more drop , went from a 20 Ram 1500 to a 20 Ram 2500. I transfered over the hitch head to this drop shank and works exactly as needed. The WDH sits perfectly level now with my travel trailer. The trailer place wanted $400 to transfer over to a new shank....no thanks did it myself and saved $300

Had to add drop to w/d hitch when I went from 1/2 ton truck to ram 3500 due to height difference. Along with dodge made class 5 to 4 adapter this worked perfect to lower ball to proper height.

Great quality, this is a big, heavy drop shank. I have a Sierra 1500 lifted 6" with 35s and this shank clears at about 8" off the ground. My travel trailer tongue sits at about 18". I have the weight distribution hitch (2 bolts) in the first and 3rd hole because the hitch itself is huge. There is plenty of room to move it down for a trailer that would sit as low (level) as 12".

17124 is hugeeeee. Aiming for 7-8” of drop switched it out for 17123.

I've got a Jayco Kiwi 18F hybrid camper that rides pretty low - we got a newer Ford Explorer and the Curt round bar weight distribution hitch was too high.... this bar give you 8½ inches of drop (I need about 7 or 8). It is a solid bar of steel but Amazon had Free Super Saver Shipping!!!! What's even more amazing is they got it on the truck within hours and it was on my door step the NEXT DAY!!!!! Overnight shipping for free! Amazon rocks! The finish on the bar is sort of a rough pebbled finish - I suspect it has some sort of rust coating but I'm not sure.

Used this on my 06 F250. I have a procomp 8.5" lift and 37" tires. I still have room left for more of a drop if needed. Good quality and it worked perfect.

Perfect for my lifted truck. This thing is heavy and solid steel, no tubing. I run an "Equalizer" brand hitch and it bolted to this shank perfectly. The price is half of what it is here in town. I'm pretty sure they lost money shipping this thing though. Double boxed and still ripped. Did mention it is heavy...

Works great for my application. I purchased a new truck that required my rv hitch to be lowered 5" and this done the job perfect. Caution though due to the holes not being up the entire shaft kind of limiting the adjustments.
