Bought my first truck in August 2019. Towed my first load this weekend - a Honda Pioneer 500 that I purchased from a dealer 2 hours away. Truck is equipped with a class IV hitch receiver. I bought a cheap adjustable hitch and ball from Harbor Freight, rated to 5000 lbs. The adjustable hitch didn't come with a pin for securing it to the receiver so I bought this one. It looks exactly like the pins used on the adjustable hitch. The total load was a little over 2000 lbs. and there were no surprises in my roughly 4 hour trip. I'll probably invest in a locking pin for extra piece of mind but this works for now and the price is right. Now, if I can just figure out how to properly back up a small single axle trailer, I'll be in business...

Nice, heavy duty
Very nice, heavy duty. Does what it should with confidence and durability (I have another one that I've used for about 5 years). I've never been disappointed with Curt products.

Always keep a spare
Great to toss into the tool box or glove box just to keep as an extra.

Works great.
Lost my old pin. This was the only one listed that had detailed measurements listed in the description. It fit just right.

Great for the bigger hitches
Purchased a new F-250 and it had the 2.5" receiver and my old pins came up to short. These worked great.
