Basic, the pink is cute, and they work.
I needed a set of tools that I could use for very basic home maintenance (hanging pictures, tightening screws and so forth)... when I need a screwdriver, a hex key or the hammer, now I don't need to rummage around for it, it's right there in its own special slot. I like the pink colour, and the case is very compact. I paid a few dollars more to get pink, I wanted it to be obvious at a glance that these tools are MINE and not to disappear into my husband's work tool kit! If you don't need the pink colour, the identical set is available in red for a lower price.

good enough
works good for what i use it for not heavy duty by any means. Please excuse my Pic it is missing the sissors because my husband doesn't know how to put things back where he found them.

Good deal for the money, and designed for the average home-improver.
This tool kit has tools made in China, which is printed on every item in accordance with the law. It is from high-grade steel material, but it seems to lack precision because some parts seem rough around the edges, so to speak. The plastic parts suffer from cheap plastic (these are cheap tools, at it's best though), but they will get the average issues in the household fixed without having to search in your tool-shed or box, look outside or in the garage for, and the have to put back again. The scissors and razor suffer the most from the cheap plastic, but both are very sharp due to the metal they hold. This makes me worry a bit while using these two tools due to that "cheap low-grade working with razor sharp steel" combination. The hammer is miniature and feels rather sickly. The bit driver is magnetized and seems normal; the screw-drivers feel terrible and are hard to tell apart without squinting at their fine-printed back end labels. All in all, great for the money and they have completed the easy jobs I needed done in the house so far. I am thereby forced to give China-made materials a five star rating (sigh).

You get what you pay for!
This is a simple, basic kit for your kitchen or rec room. For occasional use. I've read the One Star ratings, but mine was just fine. I always coat my new tools with WD40 or 3-in-On oil. I had no rust. The bits are really hard to get out of their case even with WD40. I had to use the extender end to push them out and rotate (strongly suggest). I tested the bit driver with several bits and worked fine. Tape measurer, cutter, scissors, no problems. This is NOT for your car and frequent use. It doesn't have wrenches, sockets, needle nose, etc. If you need those, don't complain, just upgrade to $40+ kits.

This is a great little tool set for the money
This is a great little tool set for the money. We've done all manner of common household repairs using these within the last 10 months of owning it. A couple of cons: (1) Does not include needle nose pliers. The set never stated it did, but I found myself buying one separately when I needed one and realized it didn't come with it. (2) Sometimes the pliers included will come loose inside the case when stored. Honestly though maybe I'm just not replacing it correctly. (3) The screwdriver attachments are very hard to get out of their red little storage box by hand. These are the small bits that turn your screwdriver into different sized flat heads or phillips, etc. I find myself using the included pliers to pry them out of their storage sockets. These issues are all nitpicking in my opinion and the set still deserves all 5 stars. They work well for myself and my family.

GREAT TOOLBOX
My husband wanted to get our Grandson a little set of tools that were real as an incentive to eat Good foods. At 5 yrs.old you wouldn't think a child could be that picky or stubborn about eating & trying new foods but he can out stubborn us any day of the week. Well the little guy & Grandpa had been Building things & tinkering together since our little one was big enough to toddle over to wherever Grandpa was at. When this set came in Grandpa set up on the table & told our little one that when he earned 5 stars it was all his. You should have seen the little guys eyes light up. He asked Pappa if they were "REAL tools. he just couldn't believe it when Grandpa said "Yes & they will be yours when you earn them". It worked like a charm. since earning them he has helped Grandpa with the car, make birds house & fix many other things around the house. This is a great tool set to have around the house for me as well. I really dislike digging in my Hubby's big man tool box.I think the grandson & I will get many uses & some joy out of this set. *I paid FULL PRICE for this item and I am under no obligation to leave a review, positive or negative*

Perfect starter kit for small jobs
I've had this toolkit for 3 years now, and it's still going strong. It has everything I could really need as a renter. I've used it for hanging art, putting together furniture (and taking it apart), taking measurements in my home, and plenty of other odd jobs around my apartments over these last few years. Of the many things I purchased when I moved out on my own, this is the one I still use regularly and am always thankful to have! This set isn't the highest quality in the world, but it gets the job done and it's an excellent little kit for someone who needs a full set of basics. Get this, some nails, and a little power drill, and you'll be all set! This would be an excellent gift for someone moving into their first place, as well! I would recommend this as an excellent, full starter kit, but if you're looking to upgrade or get something more advanced, you may want to look elsewhere.

Apollo Tool Set
I gave this Tool Set to a senior friend for his birthday--he'd just moved & didn't take any tools w/him. He isn't a DIY guy, but he took out each tool & looked @ all. He especially liked all the screwdriver tips & "handy" hammer. I made "points" w/my friend & when purchased, it was a good deal!

It's Pink
This is a nice kit for occasional home repair use. The hammer is light, great for hanging pictures, pounding finish nails that have worked they're way out, etc. It's not a framing hammer and doesn't have to weight behind it to efficiently be used as such. I find myself busting into the kit to use small screw drivers since it's usually closer than my tools. The larger screwdriver works well and has enough attachments for most jobs users of this kit will run into. The box cutter is probably the lowest quality tool in the kit. It's not something that should be used for heavy use, such as cutting drywall. The blade doesn't do a great job of staying locked in place, so it can be pulled out and pushed when doing heavy cutting. It's fine for opening amazon packages and other light use jobs. Instructions should probably be included for how to break the box cutter blade. it's the type of blade that has several sections that are scored on both sides. When the blade gets dull, you simply break off the end of it and the new end is nice and sharp. I found my girlfriend trying to press the blade against the floor in an attempt to break it off. I stopped her before the blade snapped off, went flying, and she or someone else lost an eye. I imagine that other users of this may not have experience with this type of tool, and would benefit from knowing that it's much easier and safer to use the supplied pliers to break off the end of the razor blade. A warning label of what not to do on the tool may be better. Everything seems to be of good enough quality for occasional use. The kit is pretty much what I expected, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a pink tool set.
