I am so pleased with the quality of this product for the price

I am so pleased with the quality of this product for the price. I ordered this for my Husband (who is a drummer) to use with our daughter and they have been really enjoying playing together. Great size for adults as well as tiny toddlers.

Suprisingly good quality for the price

Suprisingly good quality for the price. I liked the dark wood, which you don't always see. I tested them out, then I gave them to my dad for Christmas, and he loved the idea. They come with a tuning wrench. I don't love the logos on the drum heads, but I won't take a star off for that. I believe they'll look and sound better with age.

Great Bongo Drums

The Drums are fun to play and look great also there very easy to tune they sound great but would recommend a bongo stand for them it makes it easier to play them then trying to hold them I bought a stand at a music store Amazon would be a little cheaper than where I bought mine at but didn't want to wait on the shipping and if the DVD Bongo Grooves For Beginners is offered with them I would highly recommend to buy them together.

Very happy with this purchase

Very happy with this purchase. This company produces musical instruments in Asia, then imports them to sell at a low price. The wood, skins and hardware appear to be sturdy and of good quality. Fit and finish are better then expected. Very good value for the money. Drums are not my primary instrument, but I know enough about percussion to evaluate these bongos competently. High, low, open and muted tones are clear and distinct. I will be playing for fun at home and with casual drumming circles. I may occasionally use them on my music tracks. These are fine for my intended purposes.

Nice pair of bongos....

My son loves this. It is well made and comes with a turning key to adjust the sound. He is having a lot of fun with it. Wish it came with ear plugs though... I suggest you order some plugs if getting this for anyone else other that yourself. Believe me, you are going to need it. ;)

Outstanding quality Bungo Drums for all ages!!

The drums are sturdy and very well made. Our two-year-old really enjoys drums. He played with the drum set for over an hour. He used some wooden spoons from the kitchen do you know and the drums didn't have any damage. Both spoons broke!! I highly recommend ordering these drums !!!

Fun!

I purchased these for my brother-in-law who is a big musician and he absolutely loves them. Out of the box, they have a slight animal skin smell due to the drum portions, but animal skin is the covering I suppose. Really nice sound to them and easily tunable, if needed. Great price to boot! I added this item to my wish list and watched the price fluctuate over the holidays gaining $10 and coming down $10. Finally got the pair for $45.00 which I thought was a pretty good buy.

Dont pass the deal up for a student or budget set at this value!!!!!!!!!

If you're looking for a budget set of bongos or something for a beginning drummer in the way of bongos for value, look no further. These came with the correct tuning wrench in a nice canvas case (for the wrench that is as pictured) and required a very minimal amount of tuning, and the shipping crew was smart by loosening the wing nut that holds the bass and tonal drum together so no damage would be caused in shipping. I tightened it, had my drummer do a light tuning on them, and they play perfect. I wanted a value set like this because i have 12 guitars, 2 basses, a banjo, an accordion, a piano, amps, recording equip, a sampler, DJ turntables with felt mats a dulcimer, a wooden xylephone, a flute, harmonica set, etc. and needed a percussion item so any type of player can join the jam if they dont have their equipment with them. I even ordered a second set after i got them for my other drummer friend who because of losing his home no longer has his set so as a new housewarming gift i couldnt pass it up for another measly 26 bux with free shipping!!!!!!!!! dont pass it up

Loved the size and sound of this great product

Loved the size and sound of this great product. We keep it by the TV and break out in to song and dance when great songs come on. Excellent product and customer service.

Well made and very nice for the price

I purchased the bongos to introduce music to my 7 year old daughter. I was surprised at the quality of the construction for the price paid. I am not a professional, so I can't speak to how they sound in comparison to more expensive bongos, but I can tell you that these sound very good to us. I would consider them excellent value for your money. My daughter and I have been playing them for about 5 months now and they are still in very good shape and sound great! I am very happy With the purchase and would highly recommend them.
