Excellent product, do a 80 -120-200 sandpaper before, remove the old surface and do a double hand coat with this. No need for anything additional. Look at my before and after. No oily surface!

I used it on 3 gun stocks, multiple applications over a 2 day period as the wood was very old and dry. Wood looks amazing now. I also treated the handles on a vintage Homestead kitchen knife & carving set, which had probably never been oiled. Wood looks great now. Be sure too clean surface and allow to completely dry before applying oil. If wood is really dry it will suck up the oil in minutes. Re-apply as needed. May take an hour or two for oil to penetrate after the first application. Everything I did used less than 3 oz. of oil. Very happy with the results.

We bought some Teak rockers from Sam's Club, and I put this on straightaway. It did change the color to a warm golden color, which looks fantastic. And, water beads up on it now. I did quite a bit of research. None of the teak oil products are actually Teak Oil. They are basically linseed oil with a few other ingredients. Looks like I'll need to sand and redo at least annually, but that is just the nature of Teak. Some folks use Tung oil, which is a multi-step process, and then seal it. I'm happy with this so far, and it's very easy to use. I just used a rag. CAUTION. Just like Linseed oil, if you throw the rag into your garage after using it, it CAN and most probably WILL. spontaneously catch on fire. It's best to just soak it down in water, and throw away in the garbage. I leave the rag outside until I put the garbage out, soak it in water, and then put in the garbage.

Wow! This is so much better than the stuff you find at Home Depot (Watco brand?). I bought an old weathered teak patio set last year (pic 1), and first sanded and applied that other stuff (pic 2) — it was a mess, not to mention dangerous (flammable!), left a sticky residue, and didn’t even last the whole season. This must be real teak oil instead of flammable chemical oil - it was so much easier to apply, and and made my furniture look way better (pic 3)! Plus it’s cheap and I only needed less than 1/4 of the bottle to oil the entire set. I’m in love! Note: I didn’t use the teak cleaner or brightener first as directed, just applied this oil directly to the wood and rubbed off with a dry clean cloth. It first looked yellow but then settled into a nice rich brown. No streaks, no sticky spots. Looks even better in person!

This oil works great. I also bought the soap to wash my chairs first then oil them.

I bought this teak oil to treat a new teak rocking chair. The chair is designed for outside use and I didn't want it to weather to gray. It brought out the color beautifully and penetrated well. I did 2 coats and may do a third before putting the chair outside. A little goes a long way. This will last a long time. I have no feedback yet as to how well it holds up to the weather.

Used this on a table after the teak brightener. Awesome results. I ended up ordering a 16oz first but it wasn't quite enough for a table and chairs. The 32oz. left me with leftovers so I can keep up the beautiful finish. So happy with the beautiful warm tones this brought out. Very similar in color to when the teak is wet.

Really nice teak oil! Had seen this used in marine environments on boats and swim platforms and decided to try it for a teak shelf unit in our shower. It goes on really easy and we waited 5 minutes like the instructions indicated and wiped down the excess. It looks great and beads the water from the shower. I see this protecting not only the wood but keeping that nice teak color from graying as quickly. I did not notice any strange smells or issues with application which I did in our garage. We let it dry thoroughly before placing it inside. I highly recommend this product. We only used a small amount on a three shelf unit about 12 x 12 x 41 inches. 16oz will last us a very long time!

These chairs were fairly new, so I just hosed them down to get the dust off and brushed on the oil. It took a while because of all the nooks and crannies in a rocking chair and I wanted to get all the surfaces, like in between the slats. I started at the top and worked my way down both application and wipe down. I think they look great and since teak is already a tough wood, I believe they will look good for a long time. I ended up using about a fifth of the 32 ounce bottle plus a little more on a small teak table that goes with these. The final shade is just a tiny bit lighter than the chair on the left after drying a few hours. I think it's perfect. The chairs are completely dry and don't leave any residue on clothes or feel oily.

This is the only teak oil I've found that works as it should on teak. Others leave a varnish like finish. Not this one, it absorbs well into the teak and stays a golden brown for weeks. Here's the trick- you have to keep reapplying this whenever the color starts to look more grayish. But, it only takes a few minutes and you can use the furniture after you wipe clean in an hour or so.
