Needed something to glue a destroyed slate clock case back together. Epoxy worked but it was too thick between the joints being glued so I tried this Gorilla Gel super glue. Really impressed with how it works making a strong joint. One reviewer said it foams up when you add a drop of water to it. He must have got another glue confused with this because it doesn't say add water!! Just put a couple glue drops, hold two pieces together for 10-20 seconds and its done. Now for some tips. 1. Make sure their is no dust on the surfaces you are gluing together and test fit the pieces together first cause you're only going to get one shot at this. 2. After every use you need to wipe off the top and screw the cap on to avoid the tip clogging up. I kept a paper towel and the lid right by wear I'm working. As soon as I put the drops of glue on my piece to be glued I wipe the bottle top quickly, put the cap on, and then press my 2 pieces together for 10-20 seconds. If you wait till after you glue your piece together to put the cap on, or you don't wipe the nozzle off first, then you will probably be a reviewer that gets a clogged nozzle. It only takes me less than a second to wipe and put the cap on. ----I paid 2.99 for 1 unit and bought 2 which is cheaper than buying a multi pack for some reason, so if you need several of these it is cheaper to by several single units than a multi pack.....which is odd because usually when you buy more of something each unit should become cheaper. -----Anyhow, great product I highly recommend, oh and yes it dries clear.

As other reviewers pointed out this stuff works just as well as any superglue made of Cyanoacrylate. The packaging is a little better than other brands though, it dispenses easily and cleanly and keeps excess from drying around the tip (which typically causes clogs). Using the proper, small, amount helps with this. If you do use too much it is best to remove the excess before recapping, though this can be difficult. If you loose the cap or it starts getting super clogged using a standard thumbtack or push pin though can also work in its place. Just cram the thumbtack into the opening at the tip, so long as the tack is wide enough to plug the opening it'll do the trick at least in the short term. If you happen to get it on your skin it will stick almost immediately. There are a few helpful ways to soften the glue, one of which is an Acetone based nail polish remover. Or check out tips from WikiHow, all of them work off of simple chemically based ideas (glue is just a chemical reaction after-all) http://www.wikihow.com/Remove-Super-Glue

Finally!!! A superglue that is truly super! I have used this on everything. From glass and plastic to porous woods and even rusty metal and it has never failed to work! I was so weary of purchasing the "micro" tubes of the "miraculous" chemical that made promises of being able to glue myself to a metal i-beam via my hard hat 20 stories up only to find that I couldn't so much a glue a hangnail with any success! And then to put it away to use again at some other time only to retrieve it and find the tubette dried up and crystallized beyond all recognition. I am convinced that if you put the word "Gorilla" in front of any other "sticky" word like "glue" or "tape" that it transforms those items into fantastic elements worthy of all confidence. Just be careful to follow directions and use no more than one drop per square inch and it just WORKS! LOVE THIS STUFF!

So, while unpacking our ceramic nativity scene this year, my husband accidentally beheaded Joseph and one of the wise men. Now, if that doesn’t get you on the Naughty List, I don’t know what would. Thank God for this glue. A very tiny amount of glue, 45 seconds each, and a small prayer for forgiveness for the beheading itself, and all is well once again in the manger. As others have said...yes it comes with a small amount in the bottle but that’s appropriate so you have better control when squeezing it and yes, if you use too much it won’t work period. Follow directions and it works perfectly! Just ask Joseph and the Wise Man who are both sporting their heads proudly once again.

Previously, I used this super Gorilla glue along with black Gorilla tape to fix small holes in my airbed/mattress. Because the mattress surface is a material (non-plastic), the tape is no use, so I needed to use the glue on top of the mattress surface to turn the material into a surface that they gorilla tape would stick to permanently, and it worked every time. Today, I accidently lifted myself up with my elbow, but I kept it in the mattress for about 3 minutes straight holding my full weight, but my weight was too much for the mattress, and my elbow tore through the mattress. The tear was a 14 inch tear. I could easily see all inside of my air mattress. I immediately told myself that this mattress is done, but I decided to use the same technique to fix this large tear in the same mattress that allowed me to fix the very small holes in this mattress with success, and it worked. The amazing thing about using these two Gorilla products (tape and glue) together is that they work in under 10 minutes. Although the glue states that it dries in under 5-10 minutes, it suggests that one should allow 24 hours for the glue to set; however, I refuse to wait that long. I'm an impatient person, and I wouldn't be giving a great review to any product that requires 24 hours to bond, seal or repair. After only 7 minutes of putting pressure on the tape and glue, it seal/bonded this huge tear in my air mattress, and I'm now (once again) able to lay on my mattress with my full weight. These two products combined are nothing less than amazing! If I could give the 2 products combined a 20 rating, I would, but since 5 stars is the highest satisfaction rating available to me, this is what I give it. I've attached a video, so you can see for yourselves what these combined Gorilla products can do in under 10 minutes. It may not be pretty, but it works to my satisfaction.

I have purchased this from stores as well as from Amazon. The price on Amazon is better than I’ve seen anywhere else, for the same size tube nonetheless. I have two young children and a large-breed dog. Things get broken and pieces fall off. This works on most everything I have used it on with the exceptions of wood and fabric because it isn’t wood or fabric glue. We use Elmer’s on many crafts but that doesn’t often hold up to rough little hands. This does. We purchase this glue over and over. The quality is excellent. Each bottle seems to be the gift that keeps on giving. We tend to only ever need a little at a time so it goes a long way. When it gets on my fingers, it washes off with little effort. No stubbornness about it. The value for the price is excellent. I highly recommend this glue.

What can I say? Anything that can reattach wader boot felt soles to the boot is totally amazing. Has held my detached soles to my boots now for two years of heavy use, and that's mostly underwater! I've also repaired several pairs of shoes (soles, now that all our shoes seem to be coming out of China and they're crap), and all have remained fastened. The only word of caution I can offer is when you're using this stuff be careful and wear gloves because you can easily glue your fingers together, so you absolutely have to be careful when using it. Otherwise it's a really great product.

As a super glue, its great. Holds as good as any other "premium" super glue out there. As a bottle, this is the ONLY bottle of super glue i will buy. Open bottles last me 2-3 years without drying out. Just unscrew the cap and its good to go, every time, no hassle. After 2-3 years, the glue gets a little thicker and bonds weaker, but it never dries up. I've got a bottle from 2012, and it never dried up! 5 stars easily, this is the only super glue I buy.

I love this stuff. I use it ALL the time (mostly because I'm cheap). It holds really well, and I like that I only need to hold the pieces together for 10-20 seconds. A word of "caution" for people buying this. When you get the bottle you'll look at it and say "What the bleep?" because the bottle is less than half full. You're still getting the 15g that you paid for, it just doesn't take up the bottle.

If all of those people that are complaining about 1/2 full bottles would look at the packaging, they would clearly see the words "Fill Line 15g" and a line that matches the level of the fluid in the bottle. By the way, the glue works great.
