Good price
I use this for our hedge trimmer, weedwhacker and lawn mower in our small yard. My son uses it with our chain saw. Its a good price compared with what was available locally

Excellent 100 foot extension cord for general household use. (Indoor/Outdoor 16 Gauge / 3 Wire / 10 Amps)
This 100 foot extension cord does the trick for most around the house projects. The cord is comparable in price and quality of what you would expect to find at a big box store. I purchased this cord for use in my outdoor Christmas light display. It has worked flawlessly and has thus far withstood a blustery beginning to winter here in Central Indiana. It is currently laying outside under two inches of snow. I haven't experienced any issues with it becoming inflexible or degrading like the ultra cheap cords found in retail. For what it is, at this price point, you can't wrong if you need a 100 foot extension cord for general homeowner use. Specs on reviewed item: 100 feet in length. 16 gauge / 3 wire cord. Rated 10 amps. Acceptable quality for Indoor & Outdoor use. Note on Amps: The 100 foot variety of this cord is rated at 10 amps to comply with US electrical standards for 16/3 extension cords. See the below chart to identify an appropriate and safe extension cord depending on your needs. Wow - what a cable this is!!
The orange color makes it hard to miss when you are trying to find your way back inside on a dark night.... there it is! Pick it up and just follow it to the exterior socket it's connected too. Then follow the wall of the house to the door.. I'm amazed at this price that such advanced features like this are available. The lovely orange socket and prongs on either end work quite well. The packaging was well glued and not in danger of falling off when delivered. The picture on the packaging was simply amazing... how they managed to catch the essence of the chord... it's feeling, it's mood and the spirit of the cable, I'm impressed. Quite the product! How much would you pay for all of this?

Good to go for 12A outdoor usuage.
As an Electrical Engineer let clear up some misconceptions. 1. All ratings are very conservative, as they were tested based on the worse conditions anyone would expect to occur and then some. 2. Current (Amps) limitations are to prevent fire, due to heat build up. Dissapating heat is a major concern, hence all the vents you see and fans you hear in your PCs and other devices. With that said a cable laying on the ground, outside, and not coiled up, is going to disapate heat much more easily than a cable coiled up or inside a wall, the later being a worst case scenario and one basis for the ampere ratings. More amps more heat. Note that the ratings are based on 30°C (86°F), thankfully fall is much cooler. From NEC Table 400.5(A)(1) Allowable Ampacity for Flexible Cords and Cables [Based on Ambient Temperature of 30 °C (86 °F). Lists 16 gauge wire for; Condition A* = 10A (listed rating of this cord) Condition B* = 13A *Condition A: The allowable currents apply to 3-conductor cords and other multiconductor cords connected to utilization equipment so that only 3 conductors are current-carrying. *Condition B: The allowable currents apply to 2-conductor cords and other multiconductor cords connected to utilization equipment so that only 2 conductors are current-carrying. The 3rd conductor is ground and does not carry current under normal conditions, thus this cable would more accurately fall under Class B (13A). This would certify 12A use. There is another factor, the voltage drop in the cable. This voltage is not available to the load (e.g, leaf blower) and, if too great, would affect it's operation. The voltage drop in the wire can be predicted using Ohm's Law (Volts= current x resistance). So now we need the resistance of the cable. The AWG (American Wire Gauge) lists 16 gauge wire having a resistance of 4.016 ohms per 1000ft. That converts to 0.4016 ohms for our 100ft cable. Aplying Ohm's Law the voltage drop in the cable will be - 0.4016 ohms × 12 Amps = 4.82 volts. This leaves 120v - 4.82v or 115.18v for the load. More than enough for normal operation. Yes, this is sized correctly and will work for 12A use without issue. Good to go! One final note on extension cords in general, especially if using a cord reel; Regardless of current demand (12A, 10A, 8A, etc.), to prevent heat build-up that could very possibly melt the insulation and create a fire hazzard; =============》 !!! UNWIND ENTIRE CABLE BEFORE USE!!! 《============= . .

Inexpensive & Very Well Made
This 100-foot cord is so very well made. Its orange color makes it stand out against green grass or white snow. It is perfect for any outdoor mechanical use, whether it be Christmas lights, a mower or camping equipment. The cord resists moisture and the connectors are water resistant – which is critical. I specifically bought this for camping as I use a C-PAP and the length means I can camp far enough away from a vehicle or other campers and still get the electricity I need. If you shop around, you will find you cannot find a quality cord like this for this low a price.

Durable. Well known manufacturer.
Nice quality outdoor extension cord. Have been using it for weeks to relay electricity from the house to the chicken coop so the water does not freeze. It freezes at night. Has a coil to protect the cord. Just laying on the ground and is working very well. Reasonable price when compared to others.

These are 100 foot cables they are sturdy and do the job
We went to a big box hardware store looking for a outdoor extension cord for our lawnmower. I was surprised how much they all cost. So we looked on Amazon and found these cords and bought 2 of them. These are 100 foot cables they are sturdy and do the job. We did not know how long of a cord we would need so we bought 2 for less than the cost of 1 at the store and I also don't recall seeing very many 100 foot ones. We have only used 1 so far but it has been great. I dont mind having an extra because if we did make a mistake and cut a cable I would be in a panic trying to get another.

High Quality Low Price
Just what I needed after snow blowing in the dark and getting my cord tangled in my blower. Colman always makes excellent products and this is no exception. Quality made and quite long for a big yard. I would highly recommend. I just wish the cord was either circle to match the outdoor gizmos or the cord was the way it is and the outdoor gizmos would change there outlet. Really a pain trying to plug these things in and out all of the time.

Great for the leaf Blower use.
I bought this to use with my new leaf blower. Got to get to the far corner of the yard about 80 feet from the power outlet! Works perfect and rolling it back up was easy.

High quality and long lasting
I've used this Coleman extension cord for many years, primarily to power hedge trimmers and electric drills with auger bits for work in my gardens, but also for hammer drills, circular saws, belt sanders, high speed cut-off tools, and weed trimmers. It is well made, durable, flexible, stain resistant, and well-suited to any outdoor work requiring electric current up to 10 amps. If you take care of this extension cord, coil it up properly, and store it in the garage or indoors, you can expect years of use from it!
