My 4 dogs love these bully sticks. The 6" sticks are a bit small for them (my smallest dog is about 40 pounds and the largest is 60 pounds) but I knew they would be when I purchased them. I usually purchase the 12" but these were on sale and I couldn't resist the price. The 12" usually last about an hour, these last more like 20-25 minutes on average. 3 of my 4 are power chewers when it comes to bully sticks and elk antlers. These are NOT the odor-less variety so if you have a problem with stinky smells, I suggest you spend the extra couple of bucks on the odor-less bully sticks that they sell. Personally, I think my girls get more enjoyment out of stinky stuff so the stronger the smell, the better! One of my dogs does tend to have a touch of (bad!) gas after eating one of these but she loves them so much I would feel terrible giving the other three theirs and trying to give her somethings else.

I have two dogs. One is an 8 year old Rat Terrier 20# who was born with no enamel on his teeth. I brush his teeth once a week and was recommended by my vet to give him chews to help with the bad breath. We've given him chicken feet, pig ears, along with a vet recommended rawhide brand (expensive and hates it). All of them he's had to be coaxed into chewing, because he really didn't like them that much. We just received this package last night and he didn't need any convincing he loved it right away. Hey chewed on his bully stick for 2 hours until we took it away because it was bedtime. My American Bully 10 months 74# loved them too. He made a 6 inch bully stick last for 50 min. I was surprised because he has been fed raw bone in food and knows how to chew bones to ingest. They are a bit on the expensive side at around $1.50 each but it's real protein and hasn't caused any digestive upset to my dogs. I've seen other reviews asking about the smell. They do have a smell because they're real food. I think it's only fair for the item to have a smell, even if it's one that's not appealing to the owner, because it's appealing to the dog who's going to be eating it. The smell is not overly bothersome to me. I will be purchasing them again and recommending them to others as well.

My two corgis love these!!! They will chew on the, for as long as they last which can vary a lot. For my older one who is a very hard chewer, it will last 30 min to an hour depending on thickness. The younger one who is not as hard a chewer generally takes 2-3 hours and multiple sittings. The only warning that I feel is important to know about these is that if you have a dog with any kind of stomach issues, liver issues or immune system issues, they may not be the best choice. It is important to keep in mind that they are made from cow and are natural so therefore run a risk of carrying bacteria however small. Also..... they get smelly (but so do most bully sticks)!!!!! Summary: Great long lasting treat (although very smelly) but keep in mind that these are essentially dried beef and can be an issue for dogs with sensitive stomachs or health issues.

In March of 2018 I adopted two shorkie puppies that were 8 weeks old and the breeder gave me two bully sticks to take home with our newest furry family members. The puppies LOVED them and spent hours on end chewing on them. Once I noticed how much they loved them I went on Amazon and purchased a bag to see if their chewing would be saved for the Bully Sticks and not my carpet, shoes and anything else they could find. It has been 5 months and several bags of Bully Sticks and the only casualties have been a few plants in the yard. They seem to never get tired of chewing on them, the puppies also have a large assortment of stuffed animals, balls and ropes to chew on too. It's as if they instinctually know that the Bully Sticks are for chewing and other human possessions including my hands are to be ignored. When there's only a few inches left I simply toss them out. Some Bully Sticks in the bag are thicker than others and in my opinion Bully Sticks have been the best investment I have ever made for my puppies.

Never dissapointed with this brand. No odor ever. This is what I most appreciate. And they seem to be listening to customer reviews. While I didn't complain, others did... my last bag before my current one contained rather spindly, skinny bull sticks. My German Shepherd plows through one in about 5 minutes. But I did not complain as this is STILL a great value. I got my current bag in last week and I'm bowled over at the HEFT of each stick. Even my dog took a second glance! She seriously has to get through one in sessions! This is unheard of for her. But I tell you what. She has the most beautiful teeth in the neighborhood. These sticks polish up those teeth beautifully! A forever customer. Nature will always have variations from bag to bag, but I'm still a very pleased customer.

I just received my Bully Stick order, and had read some negative reviews about the sizes being inconsistent. Just wanted to leave a good review because I opened the bag and they were all pretty thick! I personally don't mind the smaller sizes because I have an 8 lb dog & 23 pound dog... I have ordered them several times & my bigger dog sits at the pantry door after his dinner waiting... looks at me like he knows what he wants, now it's up to ME to figure it out. I say, "Bully?" and he wags his tail, running around near the door. Too funny. It's like he's a human wanting his after-dinner cigar!

I've got a Yorkie and a Dotson/Yorkie mix and they both chew on these often. They've gotten sick from most things I've tried with them, but I've been consistent with these bully sticks for a few months now and have not had any problems. The smell on these is not bad at all, maybe like a 3 on a scale of 1-10. I've had the worst smelling ones before so I know what a 10 is like, never again will I go there. The sticks are usually thick and last a day or two around the house. The last bag I got the sticks were kinda skinny, a little more slender than I have gotten in the past. But this will not stop me from purchasing more. The Dotson tries to swallow the remaining inch or two of the stick so I have to watch her when she gets close to the end. She has swallowed one or two in the past and has not gotten sick.

I have a 28 lb. cocker spaniel who loves to chew. He has eaten a pair of leather shoes (all expect the high heel). He has eaten his leather collars (except the hardware), too. To satiate his appetite for chewing, I used to give him rawhide but he has no patience and would swallow big chunks of it and I had to find something else to give him. I started giving him bully sticks about 2 years ago and think they are so much better. They are highly digestible and provide at least some nutritional value (protein) that rawhide and rubber toys do not. I like these by Best Bully Sticks because they are high quality and uniform in size. They are all trimmed and 6 inches. They are all about the same thickness. There are no super short, thin, or flimsy ones. These are GREAT compared to some other brands I have bought in the past that had short, thin, flimsy ones mixed in with the good ones. For safety reasons, I don't give my dog the little pieces because I don't want him to try to swallow them or choke. I threw out the ones that don't meet my standards and wasted quite a bit with the other brands. Not with Best Bully Sticks. I inspected the entire bag and there are no little ones (short, thin, or flimsy) that I have to throw out. I also like these very much because they do not smell as strong as some other that I have tried. Some bully stick can smell pretty darn bad/gross when they are wet with dog saliva and the smell can quickly fill a room. While these do have odor, it is not strong. And the smell, even though I don't care for it, isn't so gross that I have to leave the room when my dog is chewing away. He likes to chew in his bed, too. And because these are low odor, I don't feel like I have to wash his bedding after I give him a treat. Best Bully Sticks have met all of my expectations. But what about my dog? I'm happy to report that he loves these just like he loves everything else. One will keep him busy for an hour or two. And he can eat and digest the entire thing. It's great because I don't find slimy left over or half chewed/eaten treats around the house anymore like I did when I gave him rawhide. I would definitely purchase these again and recommend them to others!

I have a 7 month old Labradoodle and an 8 year old dachshund. These are the greatest things ever to keep my puppy occupied and prevent him from eating things he shouldn't. In fact the teething stage was a breeze with the bully sticks! The best part is that my dachshund was never a chewer, (his breath was hideous even though his teeth were cleaned a year ago.) he now lets his puppy get the bully stick started for him and then he gets a blissful , eyes rolling back in his head look and chews to his hearts content. His teeth look great and his breath is odorless.

I recently got a new puppy and knew I would need a supply of bully sticks on hand while he was teething. Best Bully sticks has a reputation for selling a high quality product from safe sources. I found this bag at a very good price on Amazon and ordered it. It arrived extremely quickly and well packaged. The bag was sealed tightly and the bully sticks have very little odor to me (my dogs think otherwise). I have placed half of the sticks in the freezer for the future and the other half in a resealable bag. The sticks I bought are intended to be used by a 6 pound Havana Silk dog puppy and his 18 pound brother. The puppy absolutely loves them and can 'teethe' away on one for well over half an hour, entertaining himself all evening and calming himself down before bed or nap time. One bully stick can last him several days. The bigger dog can usually get two half hour chewing sessions from one bully stick. On occasion I have given one of these sticks to my two bigger dogs (90 pounds each) and they have enjoyed them as much as their smaller brothers. The big dogs can polish one of these bully sticks off in about 15 minutes so they are a rare treat for them. Each stick varies slightly in size but average about 1 1/2 to 2 times the thickness of a pencil. Compared to the bully sticks I have found locally at pet stores and grocery stores, these sticks are far superior and longer lasting. None of my dogs have had any stomach upset from them at all. I will definitely be buying more of them. Update - July 2016 - I ordered a second bag of bully sticks after being pleased with the first bag. The second bag were even higher quality. Each bully stick was almost double the thickness of the first bag I purchased, with most measuring amost 1 inch across. My 19 pound dog chewed on one for 20 minutes and barely made a dent in the end of it. The company contacted me via email to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase. I will continue to buy their products.
