Perfect fit foe my 2000 Pontiac Trans Am. Noticed that the description did not mention if gaskets were included, so I ordered a full gasket set. Turns out MY order included ALL the needed gaskets so i returned the second set. Easy install (at least on the T/A) and is running great. Live in the Phoenix area and was running a steady 85 MPH at 118 degrees outside with the A/C blasting at max and never got over 210 degree coolant temp.

Factory water pump started leaking. This is number two on 17 year old car. Probably would be number one, but took OEM out and modified it when attempting mod for inline electric water pump that I never did. Think I put a brand X replacement in. Did a Meziere Electric a few years ago. Car ran hotter on highway than factory water. Meziere leaked and burned out motor in one month. Put brand X in a few years ago. It died this year. Oringinal water pump lasted longer than Meziere and brand X combined so, yeah. OEM, enough said.

Appears to be an improved design. This water pump shows up from searching the part number for an LS1 water pump for a Camaro/Firebird from the GM parts catalog. No longer has the "star" shaped back plate that the original LS1 water pump did, but still retains the large lS1 water pump pulley. This pump allows you to either use the old LS1 1 piece thermostat (housing and thermostat are 1 piece) or the newer style "LS2"/truck 2-piece thermostat (housing and thermostat are separate pieces). It comes with gaskets for both styles, with illustrations included in the box. I can confirm using the 2-piece style is leak-free, as I am using a truck thermostat housing on this water pump in my LS swapped car.

There are a couple of water pumps which fit my 2004 z06 corvette, this was the cheaper of the AC Delco, I could not tell the difference from the stock at all. I had over 100k miles on the car before needing to change. This unit did not come with a thermostat (I changed to a 160 degree one from lingenfelter, tested and does work at that temp) or housing just used my old one with a new gasket. I also did not care for the gaskets and ordered some different ones which are AC Delco with the black rubber.

So far so good. Ill update if it goes bad. Running all aluminum radiator, so I shouldn't lose any water. (Edit) for some reason, Amazon now says it doesnt fit my 2006 Pontiac GTO. Weird. Still running like a champ.

It is a car water pump. Had issues with the height of the truck pump in my car, so I gave this a try. It allowed a Fitech throttle body to work without clearance issues. It is heavy, and should hold up for what I need.

I had to use a pulley puller to slide the water pump pulley out just the hair off of the water pump shaft in order to give the belt more of a lip to ride on only way it worked or my LS swap setup in my old school

5 stars for the support i was given with the product. First one did not work but not to fault of AC delco my package was poorly handled damaging the water pump causing failure. Was sent a new and shipping label free for the 1st one. Great product OE spec fit. Install in just about an hour include a trip to parts store because i bought a new 1piece thermostat upon install. Comes with 2 new housing gaskets and 2 different thermostat housing gaskets. Aluminium construction so becareful during install, hand tighten hardware and torque them to spec properly

This does fit a 2001 Camaro Z28 even though Amazon says it doesn’t . I cross referenced part to confirm fit . Can’t beat the price and fast free delivery

Fit and function. Excellent so far. I did not like the packing. The upper end bell was bent because there was no padding to protect it. Luckily not so bad it would not seal properly with the upper hose.
