5/5 stars for a product category leader. This lightweight, compact, slim design hair dryer is a price, design and function leader. I absolutely love the force of hot air when on high for cold mornings. I have short hair so only wave it around a bit so not real worried about hair damage, but be careful it does heat up when on high. If you just flip your hair and wave the dryer never staying in the same spot and feeling excessive heat on your scalp will be your method with this hair dryer. Imo there is not a better bang for the buck hair dryer around, this thing has it all...price, performance, design, size, function, etc.

Great hairdryer

A few weeks ago my hairdryer died on me. I looked at Target the next day but didn't see one I liked. I ended up buying this Conair model because I wasn't looking for anything too fancy. I must say I like this hair dryer much more than my old one. My old hairdryer used to scald my scalp but this model doesn't when it is on hot. I don't spend much drying (under ten minutes) my hair. It gets the job done. Certainly worth the money I spent on it.

Great lightweight dryer especially if you have arm difficulties.

I’m very pleased with this dryer. I had it in my closet to replace the old one i was using. FINALLY, the old one quit.. I pulled out my new Conair 1870. Immediately, I noticed the light weight of this dryer. As an older person, I got tired holding my old dryer higher up to dry my hair. I tried resting my arm on different places but, Oh! Wow! with this smaller dryer I can hold it until I finish my task without resting my arm. I’ll order another to put in my closet to replace this one when it stops. I definitely recommend this dryer!

Fast and powerful

This is hands down my favorite hairdryer. It’s so lightweight and small and doesn’t tire out my arm/hand. I have a lot of very thick & really long hair. I have cut my drying time in half with this powerful little dryer. It works better than any other 1875 watt I’ve ever had. I like how it actually BLOWS and not just produces heat. Other dryers I’ve used just get too hot and don’t push the hair with force. This is awesome for the price. Don’t underestimate its small size for power! My only gripe is that I used to have the same older model of this dryer, but it had a little blue button that was a “cool “ burst of air. This one doesn’t have that option.

Oh no!!! Do Not Buy!

I bought this hair dryer for my husband in September 2016. Originally pleased with it, until a few months ago (we are in 2019 now), when my hair dryer was in the car, and I grabbed this one to dry my bangs. Within seconds, I felt burnt hair smell! You'd better believe it, this nasty apparatus BURNED an inch wide portion of my bangs CLEAN OFF! I was shocked! Apparently, husband dried his hair by holding this Nazi invention ten inches in front of his face and blowing warm air towards his hair. I used a round brush, like most ladies. A little too close! Do NOT buy this nasty beauty thief also known as really poorly designed hair dryer.

Me encantó, no quema el cabello, seca bien rápido, no pesa, es de facíl manejo. El precio esta buenisimo, aún tengo poco tiempo con el, lo he usado algunas 15 veces, y mi hija lo usa. Seca mejor que otro que yo tenía de marca ( que se me rompio al caer al piso). tengo el cabello lacio, liso y largo, es de facíl manejo, para una persona de cabello riso no creo que sea tan funcional.

I have been losing hair lately and when my expensive dryer broke, I decided to replace it with something cheap. This little dryer exceeds my expectations. It dries my hair quickly and is very lightweight and easy to use. I love it!

Really Powerful Compact Dryer - Conair is always so reliable!

These dryers (I ordered two of these) came just a couple of days after I ordered them. Each dryer was packaged in a nice box. Inside the box was the dryer and an "Instruction and Styling Guide" booklet written in English and Spanish. Now, let me just say that I bought a Conair dryer probably 25 years ago and I have never used any other brand since that time. So last week when my old Conair dryer quit working, it was time to order me a new one. The problem is, every time I needed my hair dryer my daughter had it and I had to go on a hunt for it. So, I thought, hey! Why don't I solve that issue and get TWO of them so she can leave mine alone! I had checked at the local WalMart and a couple of other places and the cheapest one I could find ran about $15 without taxes, so when I spotted this one on Amazon, I said 'This is THE one!' and ordered two of them. It's a little compact dryer, which I like because it doesn't take up much space on my vanity. I like that it has a little hanging hook on the cord so I can hook it on a little hook that I have in the bathroom for when I'm done with it, keeps it out of the way. There's a real simple up and down switch that changes it from High heat to OFF to Low heat. And the low setting is still warm enough to do the job while you're setting up the style you want., and the High setting is almost all I ever use to get my thick hair dry quickly. Sweet and simple and to the point, this dryer tested out well like every other Conair dryer I've ever had. I do always test out the ALCI plug every time I use it (the Instruction book explains to do that because it's the feature that turns off the unit if you accidentally drop it in water.) I think it's good to be reassured that that's working since it's an important safety feature. After you test it, and once the button clicks the unit off, you can just push it right back in and it's ready to go. So I am very happy with these little compact dryers, as I do love me some Conair appliances. I would recommend them to everyone who has something to dry, and I am looking forward to having these for the next few years since my prior Conair dryers have lasted for years and were worth every penny I paid for them. Good job, Conair! Good job!

Functional!

Does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Perfect to have as a staple Airbnb bathroom. I think I’ve even seen these at hotels. It works great and there’s no question about how to use it. Solid product.

Best Hair Dryer

My first experience with this model of blow dryer was at hotels. One in Ormond Beach, Florida and then in Nashville, Tn. I knew this is what I needed. I have thick, long hair. This dryer does such a better job of drying my hair than any other I have used. Takes less time to get my hair dry.
