Tasted very good. The can said Roland on the label
I think there were 16 peppers in the can. They were folded in half and approximately the size of a large lemon when unfolded. I stuffed them with rice and they worked well for my recipe. Tasted very good. The can said Roland on the label, but was completely different label than shown online. I will order these again.

Yummy!!
In a word, yummy. Roasted peppers are tasty and enhance many dishes, these peppers are not only tasty but have "meatyness" to them that not only enhance the flavor of a dish but the dish itself. Tasty morsels and very nicely packed. I do not normally buy canned peppers as I do not like the flavor, you know when you eat a canned pepper. These are a step above any canned pepper I have ever tasted.

Just placed a second order for these
A previous reviewer noted these are from South America, not Spain. True, but they still taste great and they are a fraction of the cost of overpriced Spanish imports. Each can contains a good number of perfect peppers, all intact, no bits and pieces. Stuff them with goat cheese and herbs or crabmeat or any of the tapas recipes you can find for these and you have a great hors d'oeuvre.

Pepper Lover from NorCal
Just rec'd my 1st (not last) delivery of these wonderful peppers. The flavor is unlike any roasted pepper I have ever tasted, sweet and rich. I doubt they are roasted over hardwood fires though, like the very expensive Spanish Piquillo imports. They are roasted never the less as black specks of skin appear on the peppers. You will never go wrong buying these beauties from Roland thru Amazon.

YUMMY! Reasonable, too!
Captain Fun is not a gourmet. In fact, he has been accused of enjoying Redneck food just as much as the more highly regarded "really special" spendy food. He does know what he likes when tasting something new. We (spouse and CF) were given a jar of Piquillo peppers by a friend who came to our dinner party. The peppers stayed in the pantry for about 8 months largely because we had no prior experience with them and no recipe that called for them. One day, about a month ago, CF was pawing through the fridge gathering up fixin's for a smoked turkey sandwich on white sourdough. The only item missing once all the fixin's were assembled was a tomato. Hmmm. The Piquillo peppers are red....and moist. The jar didn't indicate any fire in the peppers...let's try 'em! Upon removing the first from the jar, it was discovered that they have been carefully cored. They look like a folded red dunce cap. I took a knife, slit the edge, (butterflied it) to open them up so one would lay flat on the sandwich. It took two to cover the sandwich. WOW!! It was love at first bite! It isn't that these had a strong distinctive flavor (at least to me), or that they were hot (they are very mild), but they added a really lush smooth taste and interesting flavor without overpowering the smoked turkey, After that tasting, the peppers in the jar went fast. They were tried on other sandwiches (ham, chicken, and tuna. Also were tried on simple quesadillas (flour tortillas, Kirkland canned chicken, Kraft shredded Mexican cheese mix). Just like when used on the turkey sandwich, the peppers were a nice addition. The Roland Whole Piquillo Peppers were selected and ordered based on the Amazon reviews and are not as silly expensive as the brand in the glass jar. They are definitely equal in taste, flavor, and texture. The peppers are perfectly packed so they come out in one piece without tearing or falling apart. As the saying goes, :Try 'em, you'll like 'em! .

A good find
After living in Spain for a while and getting used to paying exorbitant prices here for imported piquillos that would just be bargain items in El Corte Ingles or other places there, we discovered these through Amazon, and they are the real substitute for the real deal. I see no shortcomings whatsoever in these compared to Spanish imports. The price is wonderful, and the peppers are processed well, very intact, and packed well. A joyous find.

What a wonderful surprise!!!
I had never heard of this product but decided to give it a try. What a great surprise. I actually thought my husband might like these, but it turned out that I love them even better. I have used them on party trays, in salads, in a salsa, on sandwiches and in cooking. They have a wonderful texture and flavor. They are a lovely red color (almost more like a pimento than a red pepper), and they hold up remarkably well for stuffing or for slicing into strips or dicing or whatever. They always add a lovely bit of color to any dish. And once the can is opened they seem to keep well for quite some time. There are an amazing number of peppers in this 13.75 oz can, and every one of them is undamaged. This is a remarkable product which I will definitely be ordering again. If you like peppers, give this one a try.

Great Peppers
These are really good peppers. All the rage with foodies as well they should be.. The Roland product is really good but big can and you must not store left overs in it.

Delectable
These Piquillo peppers are fantastic! They have a nice, substantial thickness and all the peppers are whole and intact. Most importantly, they taste delicious - smoky and sweet. So far I have only used them in one preparation. I roasted some whole tomatoes, peeled the blackened skins away, roughly chopped the tomatoes and put them in a roasting pan with whole cloves of garlic and some pieces of butter. I put the pan on the grill and roasted all of it until the garlic was quite tender. Mashed all of that together, and added a good amount of grated Mahon cheese. Stuffed all of that into the Piquillos and put them into a pan which spent some time on the grill (indirect heat - so like being in the oven) until all was heated through. They were fabulous! I will order these again - and again, and again.
