Good wrench
This wrench is a good wrench to have in your toolbox if you turn wrenches for living. I think it is the biggest size you will need for repairing cars, light trucks, SUVs etc. I've been wrenching for 30yrs and just about all of the time the only wrenches bigger than this is when doing wheel bearing. I found this 25mm wrench works well for unscrewing the EGR tube from the valve and exhaust manifold. I also say get the 25mm because it is very close to being 1 inch (1 inch =25.4mm), a 26mm is 1.02 inches. Around 95% of nuts on the EGR tubes I encounter are 1 inch and I use my 1 inch or can get my 25mm wrench on them. I've never needed the 26mm wrench, besides 25mm is a nice place to stop in building an expanded set for passenger cars, SUV, crossovers, and light trucks.

Good wrench for ball joint removal
This wrench is a good wrench to have in your toolbox if you turn wrenches for living. I've been wrenching for 30yrs and brought this wrench to finish out my set that goes up to 25mm. As I said in my review the 25mm wrench works well for unscrewing the EGR tube from the valve and exhaust manifold. I know the 24mm comes in handy for some ball joints on GM trucks and SUVs especially when the nut is on the top of the spindle ear and the axle half shaft makes using a socket impossible without removing the spindle and axle. Sometimes you don't want to go that far, you just want to replace the ball joint with disassembling everything.

Gearwrench ratcheting wrench
Gear wrench is a great mid range tool. I have Snap-on and many other brands. If you have bolts that really need torque buy Snap-on or Wright grip. They will not spread and round the corners. For the every day handy man these are great. For machine shop or other kids of work they are great. The tool is good quality and I have yet to have one ware out. I have 4 sets of different types in the Gearwrench brand. Good tool at a great price point.

Great Design
This is another of my growing collection of GearWrench combo wrenches. I'm gradually upgrading by replacing all my old Craftsman fixed double-end wrenches with this series. I love the toggle switch that changes the gearing direction. A very intuitive, positive switch. It can be switched one-handed, unlike the typical rotate the star wrench. Ratcheting is smooth, strong and as would be expected. Direction change is one of the best features - it can be done with the wrench on the bolt by simply toggling the lever. Good stuff! Chrome finish is superb, however I would be just as happy with a brushed chrome finish - and it might make this series stand out a bit. Engraving is good, but not great. I would love to see something like the Craftsman laser engraving with the matte background for high visibility of size. I don't really care about the manufacturer name; The size is what should be prominent. I highly recommend this entire series of wrenches. Each time I use one I smile. One note of caution: Make sure of the model you order. Some are combination wrenches with a bent ratchet and others have a straight ratchet. These wrenches are offered under a variety of brand names; Ace hardware, Lowes, Northern Tool. All offer these wrenches under different brand descriptions. All are good; just know which model you are buying and compare prices. Sometimes you can buy a setof three cheaper than one at a time. BTW, Amazon Prime is definitely worth the price of admission in that all your future (eligible) purchases are shipped free.

Excellent!
This is so convenient and efficient to use instead of using my 3/4" drive 1-5//16" socket with a 3/4" x 1/2" adapter for my 1/2" drive ratchet. I use this tool a lot for tightening bolt up flanges. It's long enough and strong enough to give me enough leverage to provide adequate torque on the bolts. This is also a much safer tool to use than my standard ratchet with socket and adapter. Often the work space did not accommodate using a large 3/4" drive ratchet. So when using a 1/2" drive ratchet with the large socket and adapter, sometimes the socket would slip off the the bolt or nut when I applied a lot of torque because this ratchet-socket setup was extending a few inches off the flange face at a 90 degree angle. Great way to bust knuckles or slip and fall over if you weren't correctly positioned. The GearWrench allows you to apply the torque force more directly, efficiently and safer. I have other GearWrench ratcheting wrenches and they are winners! I highly recommend GearWrenches as a definite addition to your standard socket and open end box wrenches.

Great quality!
I bought the majority of the set from sears...a 20 piece (10 sae and 10 metric) for $50....what a great price! I supplemented the missing sizes from here on amazon. I haven't used every one I have bought, but the quality is on par or better with any Craftsman, Kobalt, Husky, or Dewalt box wrenches I own. I cannot compare really with any s&k, Mac, or snap on because I never felt the need to pay the high price they call for. A friend did have to bring back a gearwrench before to sears without any prob for defective ratcheting mechanism. The only con for me so far is reading the size on the smaller wrenches! Only other thing I wish they would do is mark the metric ones different from the sae, sorta like Kobalt does with the color band (even though that color band wears off), because I keep them all in a bag jumbled, to make it easier to pick out!

One of the sizes necessary to work on cars.
I don't quite know what the people who put wrench sets together are thinking. Two fairly useful sizes, 17mm and 19mm, are generally not included. They give a relatively useless 18mm instead. I found a 17mm on closeout at an Ace Hardware and then this one. My set is complete! This tool works well, good quality, and a reasonable price.

... (up to 24mm) but I needed to further my love of these wrenches
I just wrote my review on the full set (up to 24mm) but I needed to further my love of these wrenches. I work in a mechanic's shop and after months of constant use and abuse they've never let me down. They're just as comfortable as my coworker's Snap-on wrenches to use, and far more comfortable than my other coworker's MAC set. Plus, neither of those are ratcheting, which is a HUGE convenience. If you need a solid wrench, look no further. Incredibly solidly built, and if you ever do find a way to break one (I don't know how you would, don't turn your wrenches with an air hammer, dude) then they're easily warrantied and replaced at any Sears and most Advance Auto Parts locations. 10/10, would definitely reccomend to anyone.

5 degree swing makes tight spots more manageable
I bought this to turn the nut in the kd harmonic balancer installation kit. http://www.amazon.com/KD-Tools-Harmonic-Balancer-Installer/dp/B00C3JDGA2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1423531775&sr=8-1&keywords=kd+harmonic+balancer+installer I used a 33mm(33mm very close to 1 5/16-its slightly smaller) sunex wrench to turn nut to press on harmonic balancer on a chevy lumina. The 30 degrees , 12 pt wrench, i had to work with was barely adequate in the cramped lumina wheelwell i was working in to install harmonic balancer(crankshaft pulley). The 5 degrees the gearwrench offers will make future jobs more manageable.
