Good plugs for my ford Escape
I have a 2010 Ford Escape with a 2.5L engine. It has been on the road for 4 years and has 19,000 city miles on the odometer. Although the owners manual states that the factory plugs are good for 100k, I was skeptical. I noticed a considerable performance difference after installing these plugs. The acceleration is smoother and a tad more responsive. Installation is a breeze. Each of the 4 plugs has it's own coil which is removed with a single bolt. After removing the bolt, pull the sleeve up and out. The plug sits approximately 4,5 inches down which is accessible with a 5/8 socket and an extension bar. When installing the new plugs, it's very important to torque them properly. Torque them at 20lb. If you don't have a torque wrench, tighten the plugs snug, them an additional half turn. The manual non-torque method is explained on the plug box. Gap is .052. This plugs are well worth the money.

2004 Trialblazer rough idling/misfire
Used these when I replaced the ignition coils on my 2004 Trailblazer. New coils and plugs had my rough idling engine running like new. At 100,000 miles i had one bad ignition coil replace all 6 with ENA Lifetime Warranty Set of 6 Brand New Ignition Coil Pack for Chevy GMC Isuzu Olds Saab Compatible with UF303 C1395 5c1392 If you are going to do this your self you will need a extension for the sparkplug socket as they are deep in the engine. The whole repair took just over an hour and everything is running great again.

Great DD Plug
Simple and reliable NGK. I view these as an economy plug for the guy who doesn't want crap in his Daily Driver. Got them for my wife's car.

NGK stand for No Good Kind, its a joke
NGK stand for No Good Kind, its a joke. This Japanese made spark plug are the best, compared to other major brands. NGK spark plugs and Nippon-denso Spark plugs they tend to run a little hotter which is good it preventing spark plug fouling, make your spark plug last longer between change/tune up. It got better fuel efficiency, burned fuel a lot cleaner. It does not matter what cars or trucks you drive these Japanese spark plug are the best. I have tested and installed on American cars/trucks and Asian cars /trucks; they don't fouled as fast as other brands.

Replace your plugs early and reap the fuel savings!
I was surprised how worn our original plugs were in our 2000 Focus ZTS 2.0 DOHC after 72,000 miles since the replacement interval is supposed to be 100,000. Fuel economy improved slightly, giving us an extra 12 or so miles on each tank of gas. Not much, but it adds up.

tune up
I have always used NGK plugs when possible. In fact, I would use used NGK plugs before I would install some of the other brands new! I also have been able to remove old NGKs from a tired motor easier than some name brands after they have cooked in place for way too long. They fit domestics as well as imports, not always true on domestic plugs.
