This stuff works so well! I tried to remove four layers of wallpaper with the DIY method. First day after eight hours I was ready to burn the house instead. So I tried this the next day. At the end of eight hours I had the largest wall in my house totally clean. I recommend this to everyone who has wallpaper they want to get rid of

Absolutely amazing.

This stuff is AMAZING. My entire bedroom was covered with wall paper that had been on the walls for about 8 years. I barely even had to use a scraper. & I didn’t even use a whole bottle of the solution. I didn’t do it quite like the directions though, I just poured two caps per spray bottle with warm water rather than mixing it by the gallon so it would stay warm. The smell is kind of strong but it is a pleasant smell. It doesn’t stain clothes & it doesn’t linger. This stuff saved my life.

Not sure if it's fair to give it a 5 since I didn't use it to remove wall paper, but this does an amazing job of removing old linoleum glue.

This stuff saved my wallpaper disaster

I decided that I wanted to transform my living room into a glamorous boujee room, so I bought some shimmery grey wallpaper and went to town with it. I was a little iffy about its look but wanted to surprise my husband when he got home, he stepped into the living room and said "it looks like an office". There was no denying it, it truly did look like an office. Like one of those boring office spaces you rent with neutral safe colors. So to Amazon I went! I bought this because of the ratings and let me tell you... It stayed true to itself. This stuff made my wallpaper disaster not so bad, I saturated the walls and the stuff did it's magic, I easily scraped all the wallpaper gunk off my walls within maybe an hour. I had never ever played with wallpaper before, much less removed it, so this stuff is great for beginners too!

Where have you been all my life?!

So many walls of ugly wallpaper in my past. So many long, tedious and painful hours of scoring, spraying, scraping and repeating. Hours of clean up and sticky everything, so much wasted time. If you have wallpaper to remove, get this stuff, along with the scraper! It’s amazing and makes the job so much easier! A half hour in and I’m not crying, wondering what disaster I created and how to escape it and almost all the wallpaper in my bathroom is down!

Best stuff on the market

We just bought a house with wallpaper all over every inch of it. I started with a "gel" product, it was a nightmare. I tried the Chomp and it worked amazingly well. It helps to score the wallpaper first, it peels off in sheets with CHOMP. Love this product

This Stuff is Great

I used some of this to remove a very outdated wallpaper border along the top of a bedroom. I've used several other wallpaper removal products in the past on other projects - some of them worked just okay, and others didn't work at all. This stuff is in a league all by itself! I was able to peel the top layer off of the wallpaper border, leaving just the backing paper/glue underneath. I sprayed it all with this WP Comp stuff, waited 5-10 minutes, and then used the scraper to remove what was left of the wallpaper. It worked like a charm. Knowing how difficult it can be to remove wallpaper with other products, this stuff is fantastic. I would definitely purchase it again for another project (but that might be a while since this concentrated bottle will make quite a bit of the solution). Very satisfied.

Great Product

I am using this on on walls that has had wallpaper on them for the past 20 or 30 years. This is a great product. I sprayed the diluted product on the walls waited a couple on minutes and gently scraped using a plastic scraper or old credit card and pulled the wallpaper off. It is not a quick process but this product gets the job done. I used about 2 oz. per quart of hot water for my walls this formula is perfect. I would definitely buy this product again and recommend this to anyone looking to remove wallpaper from walls.

Worked like magic

I had a thick, ugly border that seemed like it would be impossible to remove. At least without destroying the walls. For $10 I figured why not give this a try, and boy I'm glad I did. I mixed about a quart in a spray bottle and went to work. I removed the top layer of paper which was a thick, padded type of paper. Once that was removed, a thin strip of glue paper was left behind. I sprayed the remaining paper, enough to saturate the entire strip, waited about 10 seconds, then started pulling the paper off the wall. It came off with ease (by hand) no tools or scrapers needed.

really worked! quick and easy!

I diluted this as directed, used a spray bottle, and waited 30 seconds. Then, I used one of the plastic scrapers recommended by another reviewer. And 20+ year old wallpaper easily came off the wall. I wish I had done this sooner! I had used the blue goo decades ago and found it nearly worthless, so I didn’t have high hopes. This was easy and fast in comparison!
