The appliance was returned to to a defect and never had to use the protection plan. Square trade refunded the protection plan without question.

Good customer service.

The customer service reps where friendly and answered all my questions regarding what was covered and what I would have to do in order to make a claim, etc. Their answered helped me to decide to get the warranty, and the peace of mind knowing that failures will be covered is nice. Hopefully I'll never have to use it :)

I used this on my washing machine, a brand new Speed Queen...awesome machine btw. I used it, the first time around. I guess when the water lines were turned off and then on at my house (due to construction), and a new water line put in, then some small rocks got stuck in the filter. The repair man "fixed it for me, anyway, even though water line screens weren't included in the deal (lol), because it was a new machine and shouldn't have been broken. It wasnt, I just didnt know about the water line screens. They go over and above, at least in my experience, to make the customer happy.

Better safe than sorry

This is one of those purchases that I hope I never have to use. This is the third item that I have purchased. I've never had to use it yet, but it's nice to know it's there if I ever do.
