I got two of these and they are clearly of good solid quality. The mouths are wide enough to drop full size ice cubes in with your beverage. Then cleanup is a breeze. If you have a bottle brush or a glasses sponge you can very easily get in everywhere to clean them. Otherwise you can just use a stick or long utensil to move a dishcloth around inside. These are not made to keep drinks hot or cold. Any ice will pretty much melt at the same temp they would have in a pitcher. Hot drinks should be avoided. These are plastic and so high heat insn't going to work with these. I ordered the Nalgene inserts for them too. The problem with wide mouth jugs or pitchers is they will spill all over you, especially if you add ice. They can give you a shockingly cold shower of whatever beverage you put in. With the Nalene inserts, you push them down into the wide mouth of the bottle. Now you have to drink from the lower part of the opening. There's no other place for an air vent and so you don't want to cover the insert's opening completely with your mouth or it won't flow. It takes a bit of getting used to sipping from it instead of quickly pouring. Some people poke or drill a small hole in the solid side to serve as an air vent. But the great thing is you can tip it way up without getting a face full of ice or liquid. You should get the inserts with each bottle you get because then you have the advantage of easily dropping in ice or even fruit slices. Then when the insert is installed, you have the advange that small mouthed tops provide as in less spills. Also the cap is held on by a well affixed plastic strip that can be easily pushed out of the way or held down by the hand while you drink. This plastic strap is pretty solid and you can use it as a handle for carrying it or hanging the bottle up. I'm quite happy with the quality of the bottles I got. Some reviewers talked of an odor till washed a few times. I didn't notice any such odor before or after their initially cleaning, including the inserts. I highly recommend these bottles.

This is the cutest little Nalgene bottle imaginable. I actually ordered it expecting one of the larger, 32oz Nalgene bottles I am so used to because the photo looked the same in shape and proportion as those, and somehow missed the "pint" part and any recollection of how little that really is. With that said, I really have found it to be a charming and functional baby Nalgene bottle to use. Perfect for toting around chilled espresso shots or use by younger folks with little hands, and just fascinatingly small and adorable. It is funny and cute! I did end up ordering one in the same color combination in the 32oz size I was expecting to get, and that's awesome too. The Outdoor Red color is really vivid and beautiful in person, just a true, really classic looking red color that I love.

I purchased one of these in the teal blue. I’ve used these bottles for at least 15 years. Never have I purchased one that had a plastic, perforated cover to rip off with ease ... thus no messing with the glue from the sticker that has stuck to my old bottles for years! I’m really pleased with these bottles and this sender. This was the best price I found on the colors I wanted. Shipping was right as promised. I ended up buying four more for two of my kids, my husband and another for me (I drink a lot of water and often have two bottles with me)

I've bought about 7 different water bottles over the past couple years: Rubbermaid, S'well, Contigo, Living Solutions, so many! My favorite for the longest time was this $4.99 bottle from Duane Reade called the Living Solutions Tritan bottle. It was a beautiful size, held around 26oz, and I loved the built-in loop. Well, they stopped selling them all of a sudden and whatever was left went on clearance for half price. At the time, I was naive and just went with the color I liked most, not knowing they would never be seen again. But in the words of Dr. Seuss, I should be happy it happened in the first place. So when the loop on that bottle broke in a freak accident involving a rogue suitcase, I bought about three different kinds of bottles from Amazon in the span of 2 months. The closest I found to my former love was the Contigo Tranquil bottle, but it was so puny by comparison and had this weird half-opening, silicon sleeve thing that just made me sad. Then, out of nowhere, my dad asked to use my Prime to order a water bottle he could take to work. He's a doctor with long shifts and a lack of proper water fountains at his full-time job, so he needed something with a large capacity. We searched for a couple minutes and decided on a Nalgene. Well, I loved the bottle more than he did and I took it any chance I got, particularly on the weekends when he went to the part-time hospital with free water and had no need to bring water from home. After a week or two of my debauchery, I ordered my own, and I LOVE it. Sure, it makes you pee 2-3 times more than you normally would in a day. Sure, drinking two of these a day is the equivalent of a half-gallon of fluid. Sure, it's easy to spill some water on yourself when you get a little too excited. But if you're like me and love to be hydrated throughout the day and usually spill water on yourself everyday anyway no matter what bottle you use, I HIGHLY recommend this brand.

It's big, holds a lot of water and ............DOES'NT LEAK!!!! I have tried so many water bottles and when driving to the tennis courts they invariably tump over in the car and leak. This is the first big water bottle that actually kept all the water inside. And it, of course, tumped over several times. (The word, "tump" is a Southern word for something falling over as in, "Mah dawg accidentally tumped ovah her watah bowl"). It has a nice wide opening and though there is no straw or spout, I don't need one. I just wanted a large water bottle to hold enough cold liquid to get me through 3 sets and not leak out. The handle makes it easier to carry too and it went through the dishwasher cycle just fine.

Great water bottle! The cerulean color is super pretty and so far it seems pretty sturdy--I've dropped it on the (carpeted) floor several times and it hasn't cracked of gotten scuffed at all. The wide mouth is nice because it's a lot easier to wash than other water bottles I've had. I mostly carry it around in my backpack and it fits nicely in the water bottle pocket, but it definitely wouldn't fit in a car cupholder, which isn't a problem for me, but might be something to consider before you buy it. I especially like the measurements on the side because it makes it easy to keep track of how much water I'm drinking so I can meet my daily goal.

The 16oz wide mouth looks small but at capacity it holds 17oz. I like the handbag friendly size. The pale pink cap and sparkly body are cute, like Sanrio characters and fluffy stuffed animals. It makes me want to take it out to drink from it. I like it so much that I also bought the 16oz narrow mouth version (at capacity 21oz) in the same color Nalgene Tritan Narrow Mouth Bottle, Fire Pink. Amazon sells mini splash guards for 16oz wide mouth but the price is almost the same as this bottle SPLASHGUARD MINI BLUE. The opening is small enough that danger of waterfall may not be as certain as the 32oz Nalgene. Last photo shows (L to R) 32oz wide mouth, 16oz narrow mouth, 16oz wide mouth, and 12oz wide mouth (mouth the same width as the 32oz thus splashguard compatible). After getting these smaller versions, 16oz wide mouth is probably my favorite because it is cup holder compatible and grab friendly (I lost count how many times my 32oz slip out of my grasp when full). My next favorite would be the 16oz narrow mouth because the the cap is off and no liquid inside, the bottle would not fall sideways (the wide mouth cap is quite heavy that often cause the empty bottle to fall sideways).

I love my Nalgene water bottle!!! It is so strong and holds a lot of water. I fill mine probably 3-4 times every day and try to was it every two days. I got a water spout to put in the mouth piece because the opening is quite large and i tend to angle it so water ends up all over my face. I actually purchased two to interchange the colors and to have one exclusively for my back pack and one for when I am at home. Sometimes I bring both to campus!!! They are good for hiking as well! I read a story where a girls nalgene bottle saved her life! These bottles are so strong she was able to break open her car window to escape her car!!

This bottle is the size it says it is(14 oz)... BUT this bottle is small! I didn't realize its not even as large as a disposable bottle of water. I got it for my girlfriend because the 32 oz was too big for her, but now is too small. Its basically a child's bottle, perfect for a lunch box or to bring to school. I purchased my mom a 20 oz Multidrink and that is a much more usable size for an adult. I was deceived by the wide mouth top in the picture of this product. I thought it was the same wide mouth top on my 32 oz bottles but it is not. It is much smaller. SO know what size your looking for before you buy. I love Nalgene products. They are very affordable and good quality. I recommend them to everyone.

Nalgene is my preferred water storage container for many reasons. First, they are BPA free. Second, they are super durable. I've been using them for hiking and bicycling for several years. They take a beating and never leak or break. Third, the bottle doesn't affect the taste of the water inside. Not sure how that works, but it works perfectly. The lid remains attached to the bottle thanks to the strap, so you don't have to worry about the top falling or getting lost. I purchased the 16oz size because it fits snugly into the side pocket in my hiking/biking pack. Other sizes are available for individual needs. Finally, I prefer to refill these bottles to purchasing commercially bottled water which is expensive and pollutes the planet with all those empties. Refill people! This is a very high-quality product, made in the USA.
