Perfect! Fit almost my whole wardrobe for a long distance move. I especially like the metal hooks on this one (other brands were plastic). Fits securely, no chance of falling, and I had A LOT of clothes hanging on it. The only surprise was that about 6" of the bottoms of my dress shirts and suit coats touched the seat. It might be different in your car. Not a big deal for the shirts because that's where you tuck them in. The suit coats needed a little brushing with my hand when I put them on to get the "waves" to straighten out. They weren't creased, they were just a little "wavy" at the bottom (again, I this thing PACKED with clothes). I have no complaints whatsoever and would totally recommend.

You have no idea how long I have wanted one of these for my car. Every week I take my husbands button down shirts and slacks to have them pressed. Sometimes I will let a week lapse and wind up taking over 25 pieces to 'Ironing Express'. I was always such a hassle to load the freshly pressed items in my car. You could only fit 5 or so hangers on each of the clothes hooks, and I drive an SUV. Laying down the clothing would completely defeat the purpose of having them pressed. This rod is very sturdy. It expands the width of my vehicle easily. The connecting hooks are very well made and help the rod to distribute the weight of the hanging clothing evenly. I especially like that the rod has some rubber spacers that keep the hangers from sliding side to side so that you can completely place them out of your view.

1000 miles later and am very pleased...

Purchased for a 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500HD. No problem with fit. I am moving to a new home 1000 miles away and we’re doing it sans movers. I loaded this up with half my closet (ok, maybe a quarter... will need to do multiple trips), including heavy winter coats, suits, you name it. Drove 1000 miles in two days and not a single problem. Highly recommend.

Great for car camping. Here's my set up.

Set up as a curtain rod in my Toyota Sienna, attached to the handles above the front doors. I used several zip-ties between the metal end hooks of the bar and the Sienna's handles to make the clothes bar secure. Now it is rock solid. For anyone doing stealth car camping, try these items to go along with the clothes bar, all on Amazon: Deconovo Blackout Curtains Room Darkening Thermal Insulated Curtain Panels Grommet for Living Room, Black 38 x 45 Inch 2 Panels Perfect length - almost touches the floor. Coideal Extra Large Metal Book Rings/Loose Leaf Binder Rings, Easy to Open and Close, 20 Pack 3 Inch Silver Circular Shower Curtain Ring Loops for Drape, Bathroom, Home Decor (76 mm) - used as curtain rings - easily goes around the rubberized portion of the clothes bar while also going through the grommets of the curtains. I sewed the panels together. Also sewed velcro along the furthermost opposite ends, and stuck the opposing velcro near the doors. This keeps out light from the edges of the curtain by pressing the velcro together.

Hang em High!

A bit pricier than most other clothes hangers I saw, but this one is well made, sturdy, and will hold up to my travel needs. I especially liked the all metal hanging features that allow me to attach the clothes hanger securely to the rear seat passenger handles or hooks of my SUV. A far better choice over the plastic models that may slip off or break easily over time. When not in use, I simply retract the hanger to its original size, and store it conveniently underneath the rear passenger seats. Neat!

Great Product Designed For Exactly What Is Needed!

Exactly what I hope it would be. High quality, flexible, and fits perfectly hanging on the back two handles of my car. I live out of my car, so having something that allows me to keep dress shirts and pants free of wrinkles and clean is crucial. Just because we live a little different, does not mean we need to look like bums in the world! This bar allows me to keep my swag up and stay fresh... You need it! I hang a suit, dress shirts, button ups, pants, etc. and it handles it all like champ! And the rubber markers and grips enable you to organize and not worry about things flying all over the place. Very useful! This is a solid product for people that find themselves in their vehicles often. It has enabled me to keep my car clean and organized, which is huge for my sanity! Thanks!

Filled to the max, and had no issues

These were a lifesaver during a recent move. My girlfriend and I just moved about 20 miles, and we were faced with deciding how to move all of our clothing. We didn't really want to remove all of our hanging clothing, fold them, pack them, move them, and then have to unpack them again for such a short move, and the wardrobe boxed from U-Haul are so expensive for something we'll use for such a short period of time. Thanks to these clothes bars, we were able to move our clothes one car-load at a time instead. The bar is very strong and high-quality. Her car has hooks and mine has handles, and this worked great for both. It can handle a huge amount of weight, and I would bet you'll have problems with your hooks and handles before you have any issue with the weight this can support. We packed as many hanger as we could on this thing, and actually carried in into our new place instead of removing all of the hangars, and weight was not an issue at all. I'm sure these will come in handy for future moves, and any trips where we need to take hanging clothing.

The perfect vehicle clothes hanging rack that fits most every vehicle on the road.

I have had other units that do not fit properly, are not easily adjustable and they fall down. This unit is heavy duty will fit just about any vehicle and the bracket can be used in either as a hook install or the handle install method. The handle is more secure and larger and stronger in both of my cars. There are rings that allow you to separate your clothes and they keep the clothes from sliding around while you drive. I looked for a long time could not find it anywhere to look at it, after reading all the reviews I took the chance and bought it from Amazon. When I got it I played with it for a while and tried it in a Lincoln SUV and in my smaller Hyundai Genesis. It worked perfectly and easily in either vehicle and I will recommend it to all my friends, when not in use you can collapse it and put on the floor or in trunk of car.

Makes packing a breeze.

Works as advertised. My wife and I travel to our second home quite often and found that folding clothes, packing them into a suit case, then unpacking and having wrinkled clothes to iron when we arrive at our second home was just plain silly. The bar has a knurled plastic cover with three movable washers that keeps the clothes in place while driving. Now packing and unpacking the car for our travels is much easier and way faster. Putting the bar in our Acura MDX takes about 10 seconds to install.

Perfect Plant Hanger!

This rack is AWESOME! Yep, it costs more than the other ones, but this one has the metal hooks instead of the plastic ones. I didn't use it for clothes, which was never my intent. My girlfriend and I attend a huge herb festival with loads of plants, flowers, and other things. We used it solely for our hanging baskets to allow us more space in the vehicle for our other goodies! It.is.perfect! Hands down, one of the best purchases for my intent (along with our foldable wagon for all of our goodies) :)
