I bought these for a set of Work Meister S1 wheels and so far like them. The lugs are impressively small and have a snug fitting key adapter. I have used a number of lugs before and these are probably the smallest I have seen. The diameter of the the outside of the lug (with the key on) is no bigger than the diameter of the 60 degree lug seat. This means it should theoretically fit in even the tightest tolerance wheels. These are spline drive lugs, so a standard lug wrench won't get them off. This likely provides a small degree of security by itself, though for expensive wheels I would recommend a good set of locks. I picked up the Gorilla Automotive 71631NBC Acorn Black Chrome Wheel Locks (12mm x 1.50" Thread Size), Pack of 4. The finish will likely hold up well over time. This is due to the nature of the finish itself and the fact that the key fits very precisely and will not slip across the splines. I find that one of the main reasons regular hex lugs get scratched is ill-fitting wrenches which slip and slide across the surface of the lug. You will get none of that with these lugs. The key for the lugs has a section for a 3/4" wrench and one for a 13/16" wrench. I would suggest using the 13/16" since it is closer to the middle of the key, and is a larger diameter. This will put less stress on the key itself, reducing wear over time. Overall a very well designed set of lugs for tuner wheels.
Bought these to go an the 2004 Cavalier that I bought my daughter. Look great with the new "Konig Lace Black Wheel with Machined Face (17x7"/5x100mm)" rims that were also purchased from Amazon. Lug nuts and tool came packed loose in a sealed plastic bag that was shipped in a box. No evidence of damage to the finish, but I think that is a testament to the quality of the finish rather than thoughtfulness of packaging. No evidence of damage to finish while installing with tool and impact wrench, either. Would definitively recommend to anyone seeking gloss black lug nuts.
These look good, and they fit perfect. They feel very solid and well made. They do not appear to scratch easily, and I have removed and replaced them several times now. The adapter fits in a 21mm socket, the same as you would use to remove any standard lugs. I would buy these again. I would recommend these to anyone.
Previously purchased: AccuWheel LNS-12125B6 Small Diameter Acorn Spline With that being said, these are great in comparison. Paint Finish is high gloss seems durable. I tested each lug nut on a spare stud. The lug nuts threaded on effortlessly. In comparison with the AccuWheel nuts, only 20/24 would thread on to the spare stud before stopping on some obscure part of the stud. Time will tell about paint durability but they're lug nuts, as long as these don't rust I'm content. Would recommend to a friend. These lug nuts fit on a 2013 FRS/BRZ wheel studs.
Bought these to replace the stock lugs I've had on my Acura for too long and that needed to be replaced. The fit of these lug nuts are great. They gave a much better look being black instead of the silver/chrome look of the standard lug nuts I had. The finish on these are ok. They seem like they may start to scratch after a few times being taken off and put back on. Also the key scratches easy, not sure if the finish is rust proof but time will tell. The construction of the lugs and the key itself seems fine. The key seems sturdy enough to handle what it needs to do, and the lug nuts don't feel any better or worse than the original lug nuts I had. Overall would recommend these if you are looking for a more low-profile look but not looking to break the bank with nicer looking lug nuts for nicer set of wheels.
I bought these for my 02 WRX. I had bought some Team Dynamics wheels and the stock lug nuts were too large. The stock lugs used a 19mm nut, with a thin 3/8" 19mm socket they would barely fit in the wheels. These Gorilla lug nuts with the spline tool installed are around 2/3 - 3/4 of the diameter of the smallest 19mm socket I could find which makes them very easy to install and remove. The spline tool fits beautifully around the nuts and a nice shoulder keeps them from being installed on the nut too far and scratching the paint on the rim. They have very very very little play and are easier to install and remove than standard lug nuts. I was not expecting that. They definitely exceeded my expectations. No idea how the paint will hold up, I do not use an impact gun on wheels I care about so hopefully the paint will last. I almost gave them 4 stars because there was a little rust deep in the threads but no matter what lug nuts you buy they will start to get some rusty threads pretty quick so I did not care, and I was so impressed by every other aspect it cancelled out. One other really great thing, most aftermarket lug nuts with a special tool will not help you out if you lose the tool. Gorilla give you a very nice and professional looking aluminum sticker to paste on the car somewhere like in a door jamb that has instructions for getting a new key, along with the address to mail $10.50 to and the registration number of the tool.
I bought PF01 wheels for my Mazda Miata, at $2000 wheel and tires, I would hate for someone to steel them. I use these in combination of a set of chrome spline drive locking lug and a black spline drive locking lug from Gorilla, so if any one try to steel wheel need to get through 2 locking key per wheel. Even though I think most thief would not have spline sockets to start with. Gloss is very high, key is sturdy, looks good with the wheels.
Product is great as usual Gorilla brand is. Note: these are not in retail packaging. All my other Gorilla lugs come in a cardboard box with the bagged lugs and drive inside, this is just the bag, period. Do not buy as a gift, but still good quality.
These are the most narrow diameter lug nuts I could find, with the key being about 22mm diameter vs Muteki "tuner hex lug nuts" which were pretty narrow but the key was about 25mm diameter and wouldn't fit in XXR rims which only have a 24.3mm opening. It's not the lug nut diameter that's important. It's the key's diameter that matters because almost any "tuner" lug nuts will fit in any rims, but the key required to tighten them may not fit in small openings such as XXR rims. They did fit my Vossen rims and I didn't measure their exact lug hole size but I'd estimate it to be around 26mm-27mm based on the 1mm-2mm extra space I had around the Muteki key which was 1mm too wide to fit in the XXR lug holes. These lug nuts seem to be just as good as Muteki but are just smaller diameter. The spline drive key should be wrapped with teflon tape or other tape to prevent scratching the inside of the lug holes. Also, be careful about the key bottoming out where the hex collar shoulder touches the rim. The tire store I had my tires installed at weren't paying attention and that hex shoulder/collar of the key chipped my XXR rims in 3 spots which wouldn't have happened if they just kept it 1/8" from touching the sharp hex collar/shoulder of the key to the rim.
These lugs are the real deal. Don't spend unnecessary dollars on other lug kits. These are high quality...much higher than I expected. With one installation I see NO visible scratches from the hex key! They stayed flawless. The finish is ultra durable. Time will tell to see if they keep their gloss luster. I have aftermarket rims for my snow tires and they required skinnier lug nuts to fit the bore of the rims. These were a perfect match.

Great small diameter spline drive lugs for the tightest lug holes like XXR, where not even Muteki "tuner" hex lugs would fit!
