After experiencing several post-antibiotic related illnesses in our family, including c diff, we can no longer afford to rely on them to protect us from infection. It’s very important to me to prevent any cuts or scrapes from becoming infected, so I don’t hesitate to put a dab of this manuka on any of our wounds that have broken the skin. It works. I have watched it heal very gross looking skinned knees, burns and blisters beautifully with no scars. It does not work on fungal/yeast infections however, so for those I turn to essential oils.

My eight year old son has suffered with severe eczema since birth. He gets frequent skin infections. I worry about over use of antibiotic and steroids, so I've been trying to use more natural remedies. Last night, I tried this honey on his inflamed skin. This morning I can see a huge improvement (it's only been 12 hours).

A little hard to stomach but I put it in cereal and it was fine. 2 days after starting with this honey and I was able to stop using extra strength antacids. Have not had to take one in over 6 weeks, not even after the honey ran out.

A GREAT product

This is an amazing product. My grandson was dealing with a recurring infection and nothing he was given would stop it. I read about Manuka honey on the internet and decided to give it a try. The infection that he had acquired during a hospital visit was very agressive and the infection was sapping all of his reserves, or at least the few reserves he had left. After ordering this honey from Amazon, at a VERY reduced price from the one in a health food store, same Brand and size, he started showing signs that the infection was retreating. It took about 3 months for the infection to be considered gone. The Dr. prescribed drugs did not eliminate it at all, but the Manuka honey seems to be the turning point in his recovery.

Can I give this 6 stars?

So I'm always itchy but this time around I got hives all over my arms and legs that would not go away. I was taking allergy meds at night and covering the hives with hydrocortisone but it kept getting worse. I know the doctor would just slap me on a z pack and I'm not interested in that so I gave the Manuka honey a shot. I dabbed it on all the spots I was broken out with a q tip. I was sticky and the dog wanted a piece of me but the itch was subsiding. I woke up the next day with 80% of the hives gone and I wasn't itchy at all. I showered and dabbed on in a few of the worst spots. When I got home from work I was cleared up. 24 hours. I've gotten a few red spots here and there since then and a little dab of honey takes care of it immediately. This is the real deal. Thank you for the relief!

Medical miracle- completely organic.

I actually avoid anything that says "Organic", means nothing to me. Just lower quality and higher price. BUT this stuff is amazing. It is just honey, straight from the hive. BUT don't use this to make something sweet. Any honey will be better than sugar and much less costly than this product. This is for healing wounds. And it works really, really well. Have used it exclusively for several serious wounds I had in the last several months. Believe it. Read up on it and the reasons for its amazing benefits- too many to mention here- and use it on all wounds and scrapes. Forget bacitraicin! Works wonders on large open wounds were all skin has been lost, stopping the bleeding and providing an environment for rapid cell production. Keep in mind that irrigation and mild scrubbing w/gauze to remove necrotic material is also essential to wound healing. Put this in your med kit!

Believe the hype!

I had never heard of this honey. But needed to try something so I bought it. Fast shipping and good quality packaging. But what’s even better is that it actually works. I had a large boil on my upper inside thigh. I had never had one before and didn’t know what it was until my doctor told me. Likely from shaving he said. Anyway it was very painful. As in every step I took to walk felt like intense throbbing. And this giant menace just sat under my skin for days going nowhere and hurting more with every move. I was starting to feel like this thing was never going to heal. My Doctor prescribed 3 hot compresses a day and to wear loose clothing until it went away in 3 weeks. 3 WEEKs? Who has time for that? I wanted this thing GONE ASAP. When the honey came I spread some on a toasted bagel thin with butter. It did not taste like normal honey but I was honestly expecting something medicinal and this product did not disappoint. I then applied a teaspoon of honey topically on my leg directly on the abscess. I covered it with a large square band-aid and went on with my day. During the day I felt better. Less pain.
