Bought this after debating if i wanted a full blown air setup for train horns and accessories for ever and not pulling the trigger. I’ve had it installed for over a year now and it works great. I did need to buy longer air lines and I think an extra t-fitting. Never had an issue after getting the fitting to stop leaking the first week. Will occasionally stop filling up if I raise air pressure while going down a dirt road with trailer as it senses “blockage” but works fine when I stop. Love the fact that I didn’t have to run lines into the cab and can read all that on the controller. Did have batteries die in controller without warning with trailer hooked up so keep an eye on that so you don’t get stuck having to jack the trailer way up which wasn’t an issue my trailer jack is tall.

This system is installed in a 2018 RAM CTD supplying a pair of Timbergrove air bags. I mounted the unit right below the cab secured to the frame rail. I ran the wiring to a separate fuse box with isolated 12V from a HD relay. The relay is energized with a momentary push button switch from the cab. I only power it up when I need to inflate or check the pressure of the bags. The wireless receiver works OK from inside the cab. On occasion it fails to talk to the unit, but most of the time it works ok. My 5th wheel pin weight is pushing my truck near the GVWR and this system with bags helps reduce the bouncing a lot. I run about 35PSI in each bag.

This little gem is the perfect compliment to the Air Lift 59570 Ride Control. I installed this in a few hours. If you have the ability to do it with a LIFT- do it. I was on driveway with jack stands. Both ways get the job done- One is much easier. No special tools needed. just basic stuff- drill, grinder, wrenches, flexible wrists and elbows. It works like a dream. just hit the button and your going up/down. Compressor is not overly loud but, It IS a compressor. I would recommend this if its in the budget.

This setup is totally worth the money if you tow a lot and/or tow heavy loads. Very easy to use and works well to maintain air pressure. It will automatically maintain a set air pressure whether it needs to release air or pump the air bags up more. I mounted the compressor inside the cab, so if you want to do the same it will require some modification the wiring harness. The plug for the manifold doesn't have long enough wires to reach the manifold if the compressor is inside the cab, so I had to extend the compressor power wire. The compressor ground also had to be extended so I could ground it properly. The wiring harness uses an existing fuse. However, that didn't work for me, so I just hard wired it to the postive & negative cables on the battery. The harness has a built-in 15 amp fuse, so doing this is not a problem. I also welded the manifold to the frame, since I couldn't bolt it to the frame where I located it. The only other downside is that the remote has to be fairly close to the manifold to communicate with it properly. Otherwise, this product has great value for money and is absolutely worth it.

I purchased this to compliment airbags I received as a gift from my wife, I installed both at the same time so it took a bit longer than expected, install aside, the ability to pressurize or depressurize at the push of a button is AMAZING! I drive a 2004 Dodge 2500 and with my travel trailer, it squats like a dog going number 2. My truck already had a slight California Lean due to the leveling springs up front and these bags set to 8 PSI corrects that issue and stiffens up the rear so it feels like I'm driving a truck again. With manufactures focusing more on ride comfort rather than use-ability, I think the squat issue will only get worse with each new model. But I digress... Install was fairly straight forward, although I think a novice would likely need some help since the directions are good... but not THAT good. Youtube helps here. After install I aired it up to 35 PSI and checked for leaks with some soapy water. Interestingly enough, the only leak I found was between the water separator and the manifold.... which comes pre-assembled from the factory :) . I separated the two and added a new piece of pipe tape and put it back together, problem solved. Functionality is exactly as I would expect. My truck is a quad cab with a long bed and I have the pump and manifold mounted above the spare tire. I fully expected that there would be connection issues sitting in the cab as that quite a distance through multiple sheets of metal and other things for a Bluetooth signal to travel. However, as soon as I step out of the truck it connects just fine and functions perfectly. I read a few reviews from some folks that had/have issues with bad connections... My advice would be to contact AirLift, you might have a bad unit. I would totally suggest this kit (and the airlift bags) to anyone looking to up their towing game!

Bought this to replace old unit on my 04 Silverado 2500HD. Read other reviews about product and decided to take a chance to see if it would work or not. After installing, and mating receiver and remote, every thing worked as it should. Very pleased with product. Like the feature that it will keep air springs filled to proper inflation anytime ignition is on. I have a very small leak on the right bag and overnight it will loose a pound or two of pressure. Soon as ignition is switched on next morning, it will check pressure and run compressor a couple of seconds to reset pressures. Very happy with this product, would recommend this to others thinking about purchase.

I drive and F150 as a work truck that carries the same load every day and was having problems with squatting. The ride got worse every day as I began loading tools on to it. I do not thing the 150 class trucks were designed to carry much weight full time. I installed these over the weekend and after driving the same truck the difference is the same as light n day. I installed the HD air compressor also with the wireless remote and drive set at 50 psig. If I install the hit mounted carrier I increase it up to 80 psig. The air lift kit took about 1.5 hours to install, the wiring harness and compressor took most of the time @ double the lift kit 3 hrs. I dropped the spare tire and mounted the compressor above the spare like another reviewer. I felt this was the best location. I do have a minor issue with communication when the remote is located in the cab, but that is alleviated by removing the remote outside closer to the solenoids and it work fine. I wired up the air kit direct to the battery with the enclosed fuse, It will run without the truck running but I did not want to break into the fuse box and the hassles associated with that. This air lift kit made the truck a real pleasure to drive again!!! The leaf springs are progressive and when loaded destroy the ride of the truck. Helper springs do the same. I had 'helper springs' and my last truck an heavily loaded F250 and the ride was horrible. I wish I had known about the air lift kit then. I highly recommend this kit if your truck carries any weight for any period of time

I installed this system on my 11 Tundra and have been very pleased so far with its performance. It took a little less than 2 hrs to install the bags and another 2 1/2 getting the compressor and control module installed. I’m sure it can be done quicker, I just like to take my time and make sure there are no clearance issues later. The controller has a little trouble getting signal when hooked on my sun visor from time to time but normally works. All components to the system seem to be of quality materials and should last a good long while. I’d definitely recommend this kit to anyone. It’s priced right along with others I’ve looked at, it’s fairly easy to install and it seems to work well. I’ve had it installed for just over a week now.

Actually purchased two of these sets for motorhome. One for the rears and one for the fronts. One controller will actually marry to both compressor units and you can adjust all four wheels individually if you wish. It takes a little understanding and practice to figure it all out and I am sure I will have to re-learn the procedure each spring. It's all good. If you would always keep both sides of front and rear axles the same you can then get by with only one compressor. I have my 35 foot Class A at 75 in the front and 65 in the rear. My front springs, with an empty coach only had 1/2 inch to bumper stops. Having had air bags before on a Class C and other trucks, spending money on new or other spring work was out of the question knowing they would only sag again. Luxury coaches are pretty much all air bag systems and ride nice, so why not. If I am going to spend the money then Air Lift is my choice, why try another brand when this system works so well. With the two sets this time I was missing one item in one set and a leaking receiver in the other. Air Lift had those parts to me here in Alaska in two days and at no charge. Great company to work with.

So far works perfectly..! Ensure the compressor controller under the truck is mounted as close to the truck cab as possible, where the wireless remote device typically is located. Otherwise may have some issues with the wireless connectivity, due to all the steel that a truck has to block the signal.
