My cat loves this toy. He has loads of other toys, but this is the one goes for day after day. The squeak/chirp is not annoying, in my opinion. If I hear it going, I know my cat is having a good time. Although I'm not sure why, my cat drops the mouse into the track of his Bergan Turbo Scratcher. He bats it round 'n' round the track... Whatever makes him happy. He also likes to drag his chirping "prey" into one of his cat tunnels. It's a little creepy to watch, but that's cat behavior and it is good for him. Despite daily play with this toy, including some chewing, the toy has held up well. Great value for the amount of play my cat gets from it. I cannot imagine being without a stockpile of these squeak/chirp toys. I just ordered 4 back-ups. Highly recommend for all the kitties out there.

My cat is an only cat and has her share of toys. She usually likes those little fur mice but they don't DO anything so she has many all over the house in hopes they will hold her interest. I opened the package of these little mice and pulled out the tabs that save the battery life and they automatically started squeaking. This is a soft squeak just like a real mouse. I gave them to my cat and she immediately started batting it around and eventually took it to her bed. I took a picture so you could see her sleeping with her head on her mousie. My cat's name is Marzipan.

I have purchased so many of these mice over the years that I finally had to write a review. Our cats love these mice! They squeak like the real thing and, in the middle of the night, totally look like it too. Despite being a ferocious hunter with many kills under her collar, even our outdoor cat loves the Play-N-Squeak mice. They are carted throughout the house, batted around, chased down the stairs, etc. You do need to replace them occasionally as the fur comes off after months of play and eventually the squeaker wears out (I've only had this happen once or twice over the years), but they aren't expensive and the cats love them more than any of the cheap mice or jingle ball toys from the big box pet stores. You can purchase other styles in single packs, but this two-pack is a great deal, especially if you have multiple cats.

I now have to stock up on these. My one cat has this tendency to carry them when not losing her mind playing with them, and they occasionally get tossed into in the waterbowl. needless to say they short and and squeak until ...no more. otherwise they seem to last a very long time, even with continous play. when she bats and they can no longer squeak (due to drowning) she is devastated. no nonsqueaking mouse will do now. but she entertains herself endlessly (the other one can't fathom the attraction.) if you have a cat that likes sound - bells, whatever, this apparently is THE BOMB. it's a continuous reenactment of the hunt, and i am thankful something can keep my high energy kitty entertained.

This is not the first time (nor my cats) ever coming across OurPets Play-N-Squeak Twice the Mice Cat Toy. Someone was kind enough to gift one to my kitty and she loved it. She tossed her mouse around all over the place until he lost his squeak. She was really rough with it too and it lasted quite a while. So I got her two more. There have been several times when I thought the mouse was the real deal. She leaves her toys all over and I step on them all the time. They sound like real mice and pass for real mice and most importantly my kitty loves them and that's what really matters. Once she beats these up, I will replace them with new ones. I highly recommend getting these to keep your kitty playful and exercised.

A lot of entertainment for an older cat! She is a rescue cat and the Vet thinks she was about 7 when adopted. Normally she gets more fun out of the cardboard box than a toy. This toy is different, however, and she has been playing with it for a few days now. Perhaps it is the squeak? Not sure but will update this review if anything happens to the toy. Appears to be durable and for sure it is entertaining... Most highly recommended and delivered using Prime .. Love the 2 day delivery.

Kitty goes crazy for this toy. She rolls around with them, throws them & then stalks them. If I make it squeak she comes running. That's what I had to say about this the first time I bought it & that remains true, however, I decided to buy it again & unfortunately this time around one of the mice doesn't make a sound. That's kind of disappointing since it's the squeak that seems to get her excited & when you've got a 9 month old kitten with 3 legs, making her happy is kind of a big deal. I'd still buy their products & recommend them but maybe their quality control could be a little more careful.

Well, my dog has identity crisis, or maybe trans-species... he loves these squeaky mice.

I have a 5 year old Maine Coon cat, who prefers to hang out with our dogs rather than play with toys. I have bought just about every toy imaginable, and the cat gave them an overall "meh" review. NOT THIS TIME! These mice are the bomb. He will toss them and chase them all over the house for 15-20 min at a time. He protects them from the dogs (lab and g shep) and bounces and pounces like I've never seen him do. These are the best toy on the market. The squeaking starts with any touch of the mouse, which encourages his interaction. I will be buying these from now on. Other than the Kong kicking toy (which he enjoys "killing") this is the best toy ever. The fact that the set of 2 was a mere $6, was icing on the cake.

The five stars say I love it, but to be honest it's my cat Zoomer who loves it. We bought a package of two, and he lost one under the treadmill. He played with the other one until one evening he managed to flip it into the biffy. He was in the bathroom making distressful sounds, then we heard something that sounded like a cross between the smoke detector and someone stepping on a rodent. I ran into the bathroom to find Zoomer leaping around waving his paws at the biffy water. My Mouse! It's drowning! Save it! Sure enough, the mechanical rodent was afloat. We threw it out, gingerly, only to hear the noise start again at one a.m. Evidently the batteries are pretty tough in this thing, and the mouse resurrected in the kitchen garbage and could not be turned off. So both cats are hysterically pawing the garbage can, my roommate is yelling Shut that thing off! and I'm trying to disable it. We finally put it outside to torment the neighborhood outdoor cats. Yes, we ordered two more. It's a wonderfully entertaining cat toy. Leave the tag on it so the cat can grab it in his mouth and toss it around. We've had the second set for over a month and we're awakened at random moments by SQUEEK, purr purr SQUEEK. Get this for your cat who needs exercise. Just remember to keep the lid shut on the commode.
