Champion generator / wheel kit
I bought a Champion dual fuel generator that works great! But it did not come with wheels which made it a little bit hard to move around. I ordered the wheel set also from Champion and it arrived fast. The whole kit fits great in my Champion generator and is very sturdy. I did not have to make any changes or drill holes to the base. I am very pleased with not only the wheel kit from Champion but very pleased with the generator that allows me to use either LPG or gasoline. I had it running recently for 9 hours straight on my RV and I did not have any issues what so ever. The power was stable the whole time. The noise is decent; I have not seen a generator that does not make noise. So, I would say is bearable. Soon I would probably just build a little wall to block the noise

Fit my Champion 100216 with no troubles.
Easy to install. Took me about 30 minutes. It fit my Champion 100216 with no troubles. The instructions don't mention having to remove the rubber vibration mount from the generator to mount the new support leg but other reviewer's already mentioned that you have to remove the old rubber vibration mount underneath before installing the new support, so thanks for the heads up! The instructions could have used better pictures, especially for mounting the handle. It took me a few tries to get the handle mounted correctly so it lays down in front of the generator to lift it up and let you pull it around easily. I also had mine full of gas & oil as we've had power outages just in the last few days, so I just used a floor jack to hold the generator up a couple of inches and mounted the support leg by slipping it onto the bottom without flipping it over or tipping it up on it's side with no problems. I used to have the generator on a piece of plywood with 4 little coaster wheels on it, but it was awkward at best to move due to its weight and size. It would always catch one of the little wheels on any uneven surface when I'd move it around. Now it's really easy to move with just it's two wheels on back. It is definitely worth the money and a little bit of time to install.

Quick, Easy and Durable
So, after many months of procrastination and just plain forgot, I FINALLY got a chance to install this wheel kit. It was simple to install but just following the directions, nearly idiot proof! It took a total of 15 minutes to put this on my generator. With 12 MM wrench (it comes with one) and a 12 MM ratchet, I was able to get it done quick. All materials seem to be pretty durable. The instructions say to empty out the gas from the generator and turn it on it's side to install the axle, wheels and vibration feet, however I sat it on my truck bed and was able to simply tilt it one way and then another and not have to turn the generator over. The handle to push/pull the generator is stronger than it looks, making it much simpler to try and bend over to do it. I was using a set of hand trucks to move this machine from one place to another, often having it slip off and put it back on. Now, with a set of loading ramps I have, I am able to get it into the back of my truck without getting a hernia! I highly recommend this to someone that is needing something inexpensive, durable and easy to install.

I used this kit on a Sportsman GEN4000.
I used this kit on a Sportsman GEN4000 with a few modifications. First you need to take the brackets off the axle. Then bend the brackets using a vice (I was able to bend them by hand using the vice). The key is bending the brackets where the holes begin until they are square. Next I put the brackets back on the axle and spaced them evenly from the end of the frame. Then with the axle held on by hand, I drilled the frame holes with a 1/4 " drill bit all the way thru the frame and out the other side. Finally I installed 1/4 x 3" galvanized hex bolts, washers, lockwashers, and hexnuts thru the holes that were drilled in the frame. I also was able to install the brace with the rubber grommets on the opposite side with the holes that were factory drilled thru the frame.

good quality
is high quality. wheels are solid rubber so they will never pop. Axle and wheel hubs are all steel and good quality. my only complaint is how high the handle is, you must lift the handle higher than natural to keep the rubber vibration pads from rubbing on the ground, all things considered its high quality and saves my back from carrying the 100 plus pound generator around. amazon states that it is for the 46515, but according to the box it also works with c46540, c46535, c46535csa, 40008, 40010, 46513, 46514, 46516, 46551 (bad item discription amazon)

Good kit the handle could use some work
Overall I am pleased with the wheel kit. It took me about 5 minutes to install it on my Champion Model 100216 4500/3650 watt generator. I would recommend adding the wheel kit before you add oil and gas to the generator since you would not have to deal with the mess of draining it. The kit looks to be very well made but I do wish the handle mounted better, there is some play on it and the instructions tell you to not overtighten then bolts since you could bent the frame. I would still have to give this product 5 stars since the alternative is to build one on my own which I do not wish to spend the time and money to do so. I bought this kit through Amazon since my local stores had it priced for about $10 more. I paid full price for this item and hope this review is helpful.

Champion has a you tube video installing this wheel kit.
On you tube search How to: Assemble Your After Market Champion Wheel Kit. I installed it on my Champion Power Equipment 46596 4000-Watt Portable Generator. Best to install this kit before adding oil or gas. Tipping the genset on end, with generator facing up makes installation a breeze. Ground clearance is 3.5 inches on the 8 inch tires. Lift weight at the handle is about 20 pounds. Exactly as described. Includes wrench and fasteners. Shipped fast. Five Stars.

Excellent mobility kit. Definitely worth buying.
I purchased a Champion Portable 4000 watt generator and quickly realized how difficult it was to move it around without any wheels. The mobility kit looked like a good option so I put one on order. The kit arrived on time and undamaged with all the necessary parts. It came with a decent set of instructions and took about 30 minutes to install using my own hand tools. Build Quality: The Mobility Kit is well made and comes with a substantial heavy duty axle and sufficiently beefy bolts and hardware to carry the weight and expected uses of a generator. Though the bolts are appropriately sized, they are made of softer steel and could be stripped or broken if over- tightened. As long as you don't try to tighten them gorilla tight you should be OK. If anything, this kit is a little overbuilt for a generator of this size and should last forever. The handle is sturdy and well designed to fold out of the way when not in use. The wheels are solid and are sized appropriately to roll over small obstacles and uneven ground. Installation: Installation was pretty easy though I got in a hurry and made a few mistakes. Later I learned that Champion has a very good Youtube installation video that walks you through the entire process. Here's a link you can paste into your browser to show you how easy it is. https://youtu.be/-byHx3I5myo Once I had the axle and wheels installed, I moved on to the the handle. Like the rest of the install, it helped to look at pictures to get it set up in the right position. The handle is well designed and moves up and down for transport and storage. I did have to read the directions a few times and lay out all the hardware to make sure I used all the bolts etc. in the right places. A wrench is supplied but I used my own sockets and combination wrenches. Installation requires tipping the generator on it's side and I used some wooden blocks to get if off the floor a bit and allow room for installing the axle and wheels. Setting the generator on it's side on a pickup tailgate or work bench would have the same effect but it requires 's a two-person lift to do that. It works better if the generator hasn't already been filled with gas and oil. I had already filled mine and took a chance by not draining it. Fortunately mine didn't leak but I did get a little puff of white / gray smoke when I started it which tells me that a little oil leaked into the cylinder. No problems and the smoke cleared in about 5 seconds. Function: Once the installation was complete I gave it a try and to my delight, it works really well. I can grab the handle and move the generator around almost effortlessly now. A smaller person can now move this 110 lb generator (actually closer to 125 lbs with gas, oil and the mobility kit installed) around without any trouble, especially on concrete. The wheels are big enough that I can move it relatively easily on grass as well. The tires are solid rubber so you don't have to worry about flat tires. That will make it much handier for use with an RV when I'm camping. Security: With wheels installed the generator would be even easier to steal now (yes unfortunately that does happen sometimes). During power outages or while camping this generator will be sitting outside next to the house or RV. Fortunately, the generator has a nice steel frame that I can use to secure it with steel cable or chain and a heavy duty lock. I highly recommend this kit. Actually, If I had it to do over, I would just buy the generator with the wheels already installed. After I purchased my generator I saw them on sale packaged with mobility kits (already installed) and a cover for the same price that I paid for the generator alone. All in all a very good mobility kit that was easy to install and use.

Best Wheel Kit for our Champion Generator!!
A MUST HAVE when your Champion generator doesn’t come with one already installed. The BEST price too, for such a life saver!!! We have the Champion Digital Hybrid 3500/4500 generator, and it installed VERY easily and quickly! That little thing is HEAVY, so this is the ultimate solution!! I was worried because at first when I tried to buy it it said it would take 2-3 MONTHS to arrive. We needed it MUCH quicker than that! Then I just happened to look again a week later and it was in stock and only took 2 days to arrive!! THANKS AMAZON!!!

I also used this kit on a Sportsman GEN4000 - no bending or drilling needed
UPDATE 10/6/2017 My review below is for the C40065 wheel kit - it seems the seller now sells a 40065 kit that does NOT INCLUDE THE AXLE. Don't be fooled. I also used the C40065 kit (which included the axle) on a Sportsman GEN4000 with NO drilling and NO frame modification just $5 in hardware. The handle and front rubber feet from this kit can be attached to the GEN4000 with no modification since the holes already exist. However, no holes exist on the rear bar to attach the axle. So, rather than drill and bend (as another buyer has shown) I simply fastened the axle to the generator's rear bar using the flat plate from a u-bolt. It required no additional assembly time. I used the flat plates from a pair of U-bolts I bought at Home Depot, (Everbilt 5/16 in. x 2-7/16 in. x 3-1/2 in. Coarse Zinc-Plated #327 U-Bolt) and I bought four 5/16 x 1-1/2 nuts, bolts, and washers. See the photo.
