Oh my!!! Wow!! It has the perfect consistency. It is more moist than pound cake, closer to bread pudding. The rum flavor is very strong... Too strong for me, but I rarely, almost never, drink alcohol. This is the 3rd rum cake I tried in the last 2 months. The first was from Wilmington NC (I love) and the 2nd was from Charlotte NC (would never buy again). This one is really good. Since I'm not an alcohol fan, I am not sure if I will get it again. I do feel that if you like rum, you will love it. I do highly recommend this cake, if you like rum.

Tortuga Rum Cakes Rock!!!!!!!!🤩

💞Love love this cake. Had our first one in Jamaica. When I found them on here it was wonderful. I bought two of the 16 Oz original Tortuga rum cakes. I just ordered a 32 Oz of the coconut one. The price is very reasonable. I see a lot of complaints about the rum. If you don’t like rum ( the taste) then just don’t get it!!! Sheesh. I was reading in Tortugas telling of how the cake is made etc. about the total amount of alcohol in these cakes , after the baking is less than1% in the whole cake! You’re not going to get buzzed having a piece or three of this cake. There is a lovely slight rum taste. But in no way dominates or takes over the buttery , creamy , texture of this cake. This is theeee best out there. And if you don’t like rum cake then simply don’t get it instead of complaining about the taste of rum in a RUM cake🙄. They are fabulous. And if you want a good size for family or birthday go for the 32oz. YUMMY!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 The 32 Oz I got comes tomorrow for my husband. He is going to be on cloud nine for Fathers Day😁

Its Sooooooo delicious oh yes!

Omg this cake and all of Tortuga cakes are so moist and true to its flavor. I love good Rum you can taste the quality in the cake...It arrived early my mom and i were so xcited we ate a piece for breakfast lol we couldnt wait lol then, we had a slice with lunch with a scoop of ice cream on the side as suggested on the flap omg! We cant get enough lol so far we have tasted 3 cakes decadent chocolate, yummy banana, and this coconut cake is pure luxury. Sooo delicious you can get lost in the sweet aroma of the rum with the luscious flavor of the cake! This coconut cake and all the other are so addicting lol i signed up for subscribe and save so we can get a cake every month lol.

A Taste of The ISLANDS!

I have been buying their cakes since I discovered them in Grand Cayman, and since then I have been hooked! No joke. I actually had the top half of my suitcase filled with their cakes coming back to the states, and I did the same again just recently, when I found them in JAMAICA! I give them as gifts for all my friends, although it is hard to part with them! They always arrive super MOIST and keep for a week to 10 days OPEN, provided you wrap them in the plastic it came in. I have tried all flavors but remain faithful to the ORIGINAL and COCONUT!

Tasty treat to suit any holiday table. Tis the season! A great treat for after dinner to clear the palate, or with a coffee demitasse late evening. These are full bodied flavor and delicious! I will always order these rum cakes, are superior to any others I have tried.

Coconut Rummy Rum It's So Yummy Yum, It Be the Cake Mon.

The product came on time. The cake was in mint condition It tastes better than the one I got IN THE CARIBBEAN months ago!! Surprise, surprise it is great! The taste is coconut for all you "Coconutters" out there and the cake is so fluffy and moist but BEWARE this one maybe since it's bigger than the sampler size is rummier! More rum, more taste, but just two small slices have you happy, smiling, and satisifed! If you don't notice, I'm happy! I will definitely buy more when I can! If you do not like rum cake you may like these, Tortuga has great rum, the cakes are like perfectly baked bundt pound cakes only better!

Taste !

The price is a little high with shipping. I wanted a larger size. So since i don't live to far from that Clermont, Florida address, so i decided to take a short drive and i ended up at a residents.So since i will have to pay shipping i will not be buying another one.

I bought this for my husband as a surprise and being the awesome husband that he is, he shared it with me :-))))) This cake was fantastic. It was wonderfully moist (could see the rum in it lol) It wasnt too sweet and had a lovely texture. Looking forward to trying some of the other available flavours at some stage. We made sure to wrap up the uneaten portion well and had no problems with it drying out. I also bought one of these in a different flavour for a friend of ours as a gift and they raved about it.

Yummy and I almost did not give this as a gift. I wanted it for myself, but my conscience got the better of me. Great taste, it keeps moist for about 7 days. Buy it!

Cake arrived in sealed package. Moist and delicious with authentic Caribbean rum flavor. A bit pricey for its size but enjoyable enough for a special occasion or as a gift.
