Ok Im 52 years old and bought this for my daughters high school graduation. It was a big hit. They got me to play and the competitiveness came out again. Its a fun easy game and everyone can play. We took it out again and played it in the yard for hours during Thanksgiving. We even set up a small tournament.

This game is for 4-players or more, yet 2 people can practice playing it. I actually got three, yet one honestly didn't have the glow disc...so thought, do I really need three? So sent back the one without the disc. I studied the tape on the package and it wasn't over taped, meaning it didn't look tampered with. I say this because I see others have claimed no flying disc in theirs either. So, I don't believe internal theft and this is a production error. There's two sets of instructions. One is the old-style where you wrapped the "Kans" with a glow paper. I'm super happy they updated this unit. Ok, first off you need to take the Kans out and flatten them. You peel off the Kan Jam large sticker and when your cans are flat you place the stickers right above the 'Instant Winner' slot. As you can see from the box it doesn't show any cans with the Kan-Jam stickers and it's actually a shame because it makes the Kans stand out much better in the daylight. So glad the stickers came with it, plus if you get a little wrinkle in the sticker it really doesn't show or affect the look or glow. However once stuck on it isn't coming back off without ripping it up. Now you got your Kans labeled, the next step is to connect the back. How tough can it be. Well, it's very tough, not in the sense of brain power... more like putting one of those carnival basketballs through the carnies hoop. Barely fits and that's twisting and working the tabs back & forth. I thought I might have to get out my razor knife and shave off just a bit of the hole yet I finally got it on. Ok, there's your Kans, now you open your bag of glow lights and remote control, you'll need AAA batteries. Three batteries in each glow light. You just peel the sticker and attach the glow light towards the bottom of the can, turn it on and with your remote pick whatever color you like. I like Blue, she liked red. The flying disc or let's just call it a Frisbee, even though it's stronger and thicker than a standard Frisbee, instruction reads a user should hold it under a light for 2-minutes. It has a light attached to it with it's own battery just twist and on it goes. Slick looking green-lighted Frisbee. The cool thing is the light under the Frisbee is attached by Velcro as well. So you just remove that to play this game in the day time. We fired it up and man really looked great. Sent Snapchat pics of it to my friends & family and they thought it was cool too. Frisbee hit the Kan over & over and it never once turned off on me. These improvements make this a great buy. Only two areas I feel Kan-Jam should address. #1. Somehow make the connections on the Kans easier in the back & #2. All three of mine came in the exact box they have pictured here & they weren't wrapped or within another box. UPS delivered two in very good shape(but sent one back missing flying disc) and the third came FedEx Express that was mangled but the contents were all there and in good shape. So wrap it or double box it to be shipped out, not only would that protect the product but eliminates any gift receivers seeing what they got prior to receiving it. Under $50. I give Kan Jam Illuminate Glow Game Two Thumbs Up, WAY UP!!! :)

My nephews introduced me to this game and it is FUN! It's a team game so fun to get the whole family involved. Basically you have one member from each team by one of the "goals" the other member stands by the other goal and throws the Frisbee trying to get it into the goal basket. The teammate close to the goal basket hits the Frisbee to help it either go inside or touch the goal basket in order to get points for their team. Then that team member throws the Frisbee back attempting to do the same thing with the other teammate trying to help the Frisbee go into the other goal basket. The number of points each toss can get depends on if the Frisbee goes into the basket without help, with help, or touches the goal basket with or without help. the first team to make it to 21 points wins. This is a great game for Summer!

What’s not to like about can jam? It’s fun for all ages and all you have to do is throw a frisbee. Easy to transport since you can undo the tabs and allow it to lay flat or curled up. Made out of a durable plastic it will take lots of play and abuse and doesn’t collapse during play like the expandable ones do. The disc has a nice weight to it and is easy to throw. I would recommend purchasing a second frisbee to go with the one that this comes with.

Bought an off brand look alike before that was fabric and it just doesnt hope up to the outdoor elements. This is the real deal (original) and thick plastic can leave out in the rain and not worry about it. Love the game, wish it came with two Frisbee's.

I tailgate. There, I said it. Living in California, I don't own the largest car. I have things I got to get to the game. Coolers, tables, grill, you know, stuff. I have to choose what makes it into the Prius. The car is friggin full. I'd love to take a cornhole set, but there's no way it would fit. So I bought Kan Jam as a similar game that takes up way less space. But here's why it's better, and I didn't know this before owning it. When your teammate is throwing, you have to help. You have to guide the frisbee. In cornhole, you just kinda cheer and hope for the best. In Kan Jam, you can save a bad throw by your teammate, or slam it home for the points. It's way more of a team sport. Does it seem a little expensive? Maybe, but those plastic cans hold up. They've been through 12 home games and are still fully functional. Will it bring you more joy than three $20 movie tickets? Abso-effing-lutely. If you're on the fence for a yard game, get this while you research plans to build your own cornhole set.

Kan Jam is awesome, great for anyone and all body types. My family loves to pull this out for holidays especially. The biggest problem is just that the frisbee is so heavy/substantial that you often hear "Owww" a lot while playing. It's especially nasty if it hits you in the shin. A coworker actually seriously bruised her palms and had to get her hands wrapped at the doctors. So yeah, these frisbees are not for the weak (but do fly better in the wind).

This is a fun game for the whole family -- even those members of your family who are so uncoordinated that they couldn't hit the Empire State building with a frisbee if they were standing 5 feet in front of it. The fact that you can instantly win by getting the frisbee in the hole in the front means that the game can change at any given moment... as even that uncoordinated family member can get lucky sometimes!

Overall very happy with the game. I do have one light that likes to go out. And I do wish you could control the lights from further away. But it lights up nice and makes night time play easier. The glow in the dark frisbee is a joke so I bought a light up frisbee instead. Watch out with the Velcro light mount. I pulled one off before the glue completely set and now it won't stick a month later. That's an easy fix. The kan jam name cut out worries me about the overall durability but the plastic is thicker than the original version. Must have game for anyone who enjoys outdoor games.
