• Each pack contains two magnets.
  • 11mm [0.43"] x 6mm [0.24"] x 75mm [2.95"].
  • North and south poles clearly identified.
  • Keepers included so that the magnets keep their magnetism for longer.
  • Protective epoxy paint coating.

Fun and good value for money. It was only after buying these, noticing something a bit strange as to how they are marked and their effrct on a compass, plus how they behaved when suspended on a thread. I thought they were marjed incorrectly. However, with a bit of research my lifelong understanding of the Earth's magnetic field was stood on its head! The North magnetic pole is actually the Earth's South magnetic pole. So the end of the nagnet marked 'N' for North is a north magnetic pole and points North because - up there - is a South Pole. Er, I think that's right, look North Magentic Pole up in Wikipedia! Embarrasing for a trained electronics developnent technician to be that ignorant about geomagnetism . . . Just have fun.

We used these for the children to make compasses by magnetising a needle. Worked well.

Super magnets perfect for primary school investigations.

I am putting a series of experiments to assist my grandson with his science GCSE. This is one of the items I am using along with others. This are perfect for my needs

Good introduction to magnetics, bought these for inquisitive grandsons who have thoroughly enjoyed finding magnetic items around the house and garden.

Very attractive product (pun intended). They are quite powerful magnets and great when used with iron filings to show magnetic fields.

EXCELLENT for helping children to learn and enjoy elementary science experimenting hands on under supervision. Good value for money. It arrived on time, suitably packed.

Many thanks. Item as described
