Easy to use, loved the sounds and they were able to identify the instruments quickly. They played it over and over.

Fun educational puzzle for pre school children!

Excellent for the child who likes puzzles! Great and fun way to teach about sound and music. Challenging because 2 of the instruments are similar ( guitar and violin ) so child really learns. My 3 year old grandson loved it!

Great musical puzzle.

Grandchild loves puzzles and the musical sounds are a great addition and make the puzzle more interesting. The little knobs aid with removing/placing the pieces but wish they were slightly bigger for small hands. While playing with the puzzle, they are learning instrument sounds at the same time, learning association.

Great puzzle for toddler

I love how this one plays the real instrument sound. I will admit. This puzzle randomly goes off on its own and scares the heck out of me often.

Well made and Fun!

We love Melissa and Doug puzzles, they are always very well made and bright/colorful. My 2-yr-old loves wooden puzzles and loves the addition of the sound effects. It plays the tune of the first line of Old MacDonald, but with each instrument playing it. I can see it getting old if it was the ONLY toy your child ever played with. But we get it out maybe 2-3 times a week and it’s been great.

Good quality entertaining toy for ages 1 and up

My kids love these, and they seem to hold up to the test of time. Lovely, clear sounds for the instruments (unlike other toys we’ve had which don’t differentiate the sounds well enough). Both my 1 year old and 3 year old enjoy this toy. It does require batteries but they seem to last quite a long time even when it’s always on. Due to its material, it doesn’t hold up to being chewed on (which my 1 year old tends to try to do if we don’t supervise him well enough), so we have to keep this put away if we aren’t watching closely. Some of the pieces have had their edges deteriorated by infant drool. Other than that they’ve held up very well.
