High Quality Cover, Works Well, Keeps Logs Dry
This log rack cover fits PERFECTLY over our half a face cord of wood and has done a terrific job at keeping them dry and protected! It's well constructed, has high quality materials, and opens in just the right places to easily remove wood without removing the entire cover. There are clips to keep the cover fastened and sturdy though strong winds and weather, and so far I have found that even in stormy conditions, it does not leak or allow the wood to get wet at all. Perhaps the lowest logs may get a bit of moisture on them, but that is expected and I can't hold it against it. If you want a high quality log rack cover, and are willing to pay a bit of a premium for a high quality cover that will last you a long time, then you will not be disappointed with this purchase!

I hope that the quality stays like when brand new.
I replaced a cover that came with my 8 x 4 ' fire wood rack. The original cover wasn't worth much, but it came with the rack. I thought it would last longer than a year. This new Classis cover is very well made and fits the wood rack very satisfactory. I read the requirements and disclaimers regarding the warranty and am willing to give them a shot based on the appearance and workmanship on this cover. I just wonder if the materials are willing to withstand Central Florida for a few seasons or more. The requirements state that washing with soap or detergent is a no no. Apparently is diminishes the water repellent ability of the fabric. I hope it stays as nice as it looks now.

Have they changed the material?
I am reviewing a log rack cover I purchased in November of 2011. I came back to Amazon to find the same cover I bought back then. What is puzzling me is the vast number of negative comments regarding durability I am seeing. I am buying a new cover because the one I bought in 2011 JUST ripped in two places this past winter (2018-19) ! Now, to be fair, I did not leave it on during the summers, I put it away in the shed and only used it fall-spring. I threw a nylon tarp over any remaining wood in the rack for the summer. Maybe that's the difference; summer sun is the killer? Or, have they changed the material in the last 5 years or so? Anyway, I am going to keep my fingers crossed and hope the new cover I get is the same material as the original as 8 years is pretty good service (summers off notwithstanding) in my book.

After 2 years, still the best!
I've had 2 of these in use for the last 2 years. They are the best wood rack cover I have come across. It is durable, functional, and good looking. It does fade some in the sunlight but I expected that. This purchase came after we tried numerous cheap plastic covers that would tear at the first sign of wind or snow. This cover does a great job of concealing the wood pile while letting it breathe - my firewood seasoned great under this, where the conventional covers tend to trap moisture. The straps are sturdy and use clips rather than the ties that either tear off or come loose. The velcro'd partitions make access to the wood extremely easy in all conditions, without compromising its ability to protect the wood under extreme conditions. I am buying another as a replacement because it tore at the top on both ends after a heavy snowfall. The rack was nearly empty and had a lot of snow on the cover. Next time the rack gets past half empty, I will run a strap between the tops of the two log holder ends to keep it supported when there is heavy snow. The other log cover I bought 2 years ago is still going strong.

It's a good cover, secures well in multiple places & has ...
This was our second order for this same cover. The first one lasted about 5 years and we decided to replace it with a new one. It's a good cover, secures well in multiple places & has easy-open velcro on the front for accessing wood. When wood is fully stacked, it's a bit hard to get to the top corner wood, so we usually start from the center out and it works fine.

Great heavy duty protection, panels really do open easily, sags in middle when not full, can also get wood from middle
This cover is a fantastic heavy duty protection for my generic 8 foot log rack. Lots of options for pulling off wood on either end PLUS the middle. My log rack doesn't have a support across the top so most of the time, when it's not full of wood, it sags all across the middle and doesn't look as good. My only solution is to string some kind of support, e.g., wire, across the 2 ends. However, when it's full, it does look good. The variety of securing panels and protection from wind is incredible. I definitely love this cover set. This replaces a cheaper duty item that only lasted 2 years. I just finished through the entire winter with this one and it shows no indication of wear whatsoever. Seems to keep moisture out, even after a heavy rain. Love the Velcro style panels. They work excellent and quickly. Also provides the more secured attachments which I don't need to use them all.

it was very easy to slip over my already full rack
I've only had the item about 6-weeks (mid Nov through the start of Jan). Despite the short time, I have had use of the log rack cover during some significant weather (horrendous rain and flooding here in the midwest). This is a very well designed and thought-out item. It is also very well constructed, and the material used appears very solid and tough. It perfectly fits my "standard" home sized log rack, and even more impressive, it was very easy to slip over my already full rack, despite have some oddly placed logs, and some unusually long logs (I like to cut my logs at 20-22" length). Also very impressive, it has tremendous options for accessing the logs by opening any one of the several velcro fasteners (great for grabbing just one or two logs quickly), or unclipping one of the bottom plastic clips and raising the entire flap (I found this nice when I'm carrying in a large number of logs). The velcro closures are also over-sized to allow adjustment as the remaining logs needing cover changes. Despite the constant and significant downpours of late here in the midwest, all the logs under this cover have remained totally and completely DRY. Finally, this was less expensive than some of the other covers I've owned, despite working just as well (or better compared to some).

Very very nice
Very nice... IF it holds up. I have read lots of reviews that say it doesn't hold up to the weather, but I will take it off during the summer, no need for firewood to be covered in the summer. If it gets rained on, well that will dry out. This is so convenient for keeping the wood snow-free and so easy to get at it during the winter. However, do not do what a lot of people do and just support it with your rack uprights at each end! Once you start taking wood out, the snow on it would tear it. I ran boards from upright to upright, this keeps the cover supported I first bought one of these for my fireplace wood, liked it so much I then bought a second one for the woodstove wood. I keep secondary stacks covered with tarps that I don't need to get to until the stacks covered with these are exhausted, then I will move these to those secondary stacks. Highly recommend, as long as you run supports along the top of your rack!

Big improvement
Got a vinyl cover with our log rack. It was like walking on eggshells trying not to rip the seams or tear with any jagged wood. This is not only much, much better looking, it also is very rugged, but also extremely well thought out in how the panels velcro and snap. Was not a coincidence that I have matching covers for my smoker and egg grill. A nice set at a reasonable price which I expect will last for years to come.

Great Quality, Convenient Access, Good Fit & Features.
Extremely well made, great stitching, heavy weight material and great closures. They even come with straps and snap buckles to attach the covers to the rails on the rack. Highly recommend as they appear to be made for the long run. I suspect I will get many years use from these with minimal care. Very versatile access to your wood, good protection and quite secure from wind and rain. They fit extremely well with available wood stacking racks, just remember to leave room in the back and on the ends for the covers to go down over the wood. It helps if you can stack the wood neatly so there are no long or sharp pieces sticking out, the covers will not tear but they may be difficult to get past that which is sticking out. I highly recommend, I have now purchased 5 of these and the quality is consistent.
